...According to another input, seven “highly motivated” militants of the Lashkar-e-Tayyeba have entered the Capital. They are probably staying in Najafgarh.These terrorists will later be later joined by four men from Afghanistan. The men plan to plant a bomb in Chandni Chowk. The local police and the special cell have been trying to track them, but have not succeeded so far.
The other input says that, according to intercepts, eight high-ranking LeT terrorists from Kashmir are planning a fidayeen attack on Parliament, VVIP complex and residences of many politicians on Akbar Road. The module is led by Abu Azan, a foreign terrorist.
The report further states that 12 jehadis along with a ‘pregnant’ woman will try to hijack a plane.
The report says the woman will pose to be pregnant and the group will enter either from Mumbai, Delhi or Guwahati airport. Delhi airport has been put on high alert.
The intelligence agencies have also warned that seven Hizbul Mujahideen militants led by one Ashad Gilani have infilitrated into Rajouri during last week of October.
The group is carrying 5 kgs of RDX.

Sanman-- I was under the impression that a fair amount of terrorists came out of Pakistani Baluchistan, situated alongside Waziristan. National independence is another issue, and one I'm sympathetic to, for the sake of the regular Baluchi. But I'm not sure it would help directly in the War on Terror, except to distract the heck out of Iran and Pakistan in the short run.
As for the hijack plot in India, I think Pakistan has a vested interest in doing everything it can to prevent attacks from happening, as Pakistan, often for good reason, is guilty by association when something happens in India.
If there were a 9/11-caliber attack in India, tensions with Pakistan would return to the nuclear-charged standoff it had witnessed earlier in the decade. If India found reason to retaliate even with conventional weapons, Pakistan might still respond "defensively" with nukes, and mutual assured destruction would snowball from there, taking lives, economies, and ecosystems with it.
So the onus is on Pakistan to be pro-active. Hopefully they realize they should really, really care about this sort of thing.

I believe not only the Baluchis, but the Pathans, Waziris, Afridis, Mughals, Brahuis, and EVERY tribe within Pakistan should have their own nation. After all, tribal affiliation is the only one that matters, just ask the Iraqis. Of course, drawing the demarcation between each tribal area will not be easy, but that is what long protracted civil wars are for. And keeping Osama Bin Laden's hosts busy plotting against each other WILL make the world a safer place.

What's really scary is that the only line between the non-Islamic world and a WMD disaster is the Islamic world's adherence to the rationality of the Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) theory. And that's a very, very thin line at the moment.
Shinolite, just to set the record straight, ordinary Baluchis are not religious fundamentalists. What's happened is that Pakistan's Punjabi-dominated elite use religious fanaticism as a glue to hold their country together, and to ward off separatist movements (eg. the "unite the ummah" tactic). That's the whole reason why Pakistan's govt is such a major supporter of Islamic militancy, and why it supported the Taliban.
The thing is that the rest of the world is paying the price for Pakistan's and Saudi's use of the religion card in holding their shaky regimes together. I say let's end that futile and destructive game by letting them fall apart. Then there'll be no more basis for using the Islamist card, and people can return to their more healthy natural ethnic identities instead of the unnatural "ummah" identity which is causing so much conflict.
With Pakistan's assent, China's building a naval base in Gwadar, a port in Pakistan-occupied Baluchistan near the mouth of the Straits of Hormuz. As you know, that's a perfect choke point through which 40% of the world's oil traffic flows.
The Baluchis are upset by this, because it's recognized as an attempt by Pakistan to bring in encroachment by the Punjabi-majority upon the Baluchi people, and to depopulate them in their own land. In Pakistan, they have 'reverse-affirmative action' -- meaning that the govt job quotas all favor the dominant Punjabi ethnic group, and smaller ethnic groups are shut out by those quotas. Go figure.
Meanwhile, in Shiite-dominated Iran, the Baluchis as Sunnis are the odd men out. They are likewise marginalized from the Ayatollah-run state economy, and are therefore forced to subsist on smuggling, etc.
To me, an independent Baluchistan will
1)be a bulwark against Islamo-fascism,
2)stave off Pakistan's plan to bring China to the Straits of Hormuz
3)cut both Iran and Pakistan down to more manageable size, in contrast to the way they've both been running amok lately not just thru terrorism but also nuclear proliferation
4)be a vital land transit corridor to resource-rich CentralAsia, freeing it from Russian and Chinese hegemony, and connecting it with the outside world
Independent and free Baluchistan will kill many problems with one stone. The Baluchis have been living under horrible deprivation and near stone-age living conditions, because as you know Pakistan doesn't believe in giving development to its needy, but instead believes that doling out heaping doses of Islamism is the cure to every social ill.

Baluchis are Muslims. What makes you think that giving them their own state will make them "a bulwark against Islamo-fascism"? We tried that with Bangladesh in 1971, and look what it got us - a new source of refugees that have made Left Bangal a 40% Muslim state, while creating Jihad central in Dhaka. Only plus in what you suggested is that Baluchistan doesn't border any infidel state, such as India, so can't spread the damage.
The only thing that should be encouraged, as special_guest suggested, is to have all these rival clans clash against one another, and immerse Pakistan in a massive civil war. That way, Muslims are left fighting other Muslims, and infidels can read up on them and get up to speed.
So much for 'innocent'Muslim women and children!
