Jihad in Japan? That's right. "Terror: What Japan has to fear," from Asia Times, with thanks to Kasia:
BANGALORE - A Pakistan-based Sunni extremist group, the Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) or Army of the Companions of the Prophet, is reportedly attempting to spread its tentacles in Japan. While little is known of how successful it has been with its mission in Japan, its record in Pakistan should put authorities in Tokyo on maximum alert.According to reports in the Japanese media, a 30-year-old member of the SSP entered Japan in 2003 with a visa for religious activities. Apparently, he told some worshippers at a mosque that he had come to Japan to establish an SSP cell there. Police have now arrested a Pakistani man who has been in touch with him and are monitoring the activities of suspected members of the group, according to the Sankei Shimbum newspaper.
Read it all.
l wonder if the Japanese media will insist that their inteligence not wire tap any of their people or terrorists!
Once again, the religious trappings of Islam provide a cover for mafia-style acts of infiltration, extortion, and terroristic mayhem. "Religious centers" called mosques serve as safe houses, armories, and propaganda distribution centers.
In its own defense, civilization must somehow decertify Islam as a "religion." A violent, piratical, intolerant creed without freedom of conscience or freedom of speech or freedom of thought does not deserve such an appellation.
Islam shows zero respect for the religions, cultures, traditions, mores, or political constructs of the non-Islamic peoples of the world, current or historical. That rejectionist attitude should be reciprocated with harsh and unremitting vigor, in every sphere of human activity, including the cultural, political, and military. No respect should be shown to these contemptible Islamic pirates, excepting only for that respect one gives to a hissing rattlesnake or a lurking crocodile.
Japan has shares some problems with the West and has its own uniques baggage.
One problem I do not see much of here is self destructive political correctness. In other words, I believe Japan can and will round up entire communities and expell them if they are unable to keep their own members in line. I also believe that the mosques in Japan are fully infiltrated and there is no anxiety on th epart of the government in doing this. Just my opinion.
Unfortunately, I feel it is not if but when. In fact, I believe very strongly that I have personally witnessed a rehersal for an event which I will not describe but found terrifying.
Those who cannot build but only destroy will find Japan too juicy a target, alas. As a wonderfully free and open society, it is hard to police scum that are outside of civilization or have one which sanctions random terror.
But I think the reaction of the Japanese will be instructive to the world. I also think if and when there is an event it will be a little less fun to be a foreigner here and that sucks.
This Pakistani terror organisation Sippa e sahaba was instrumental in the Market place bomb attack in Indian capital New Delhi, which killed seventy people, including women and children. The above terror group accepted the responsibility of the attack. Japanese Government should shouild immediately take action and stem this virus in the bud.
"visa for religious activities"
This is the sort of tool that can easily identify and isolate the undesirables. Any and all muslims applying for this type of visa should be blacklisted and prohibited from crossing the border into any western country permanently.
Stendec, your comments are right on, in fact perfect in showing what this group of people are... Unless we take away the religious side of Islam, our governments seem to not be able to wake up to the fact that it has intentions of taking the world, no differently to what communism or Hitler tried to do,, it is a war not a religion that we are up against, and the poor people involved don't realise that they are being manipulated to do the dirty work of their leaders, under the guise of a god... they don't seem to have the brains to think as to why don't any of their leaders go and suicide while killing others, or if not the leaders because as Mohammad said that they will him to carry on the leadership, but why not their children????, is it because their leaders know that there is no such thing as a paradise with virgins waiting for them, that there is no real honour in dying this way, other wise why wouldn't any leader want the praise and adoration that would come from the people if their sons sacrifice themselves for Islam... wouldn't a leaders child recieve the greatest honoured??? and more praised??? and set a incredible example for others to follow, yet there are no sons of leaders who have followed this line, hmmmm. I wonder why, or I wonder what excuse their leaders would have to save their sons from this honour...
And yes tokyobk our political correctness will cause our destruction, unless our governments wake up... then they brought in our rights it took away our rights, and the same with discrimination, it discriminates. Japan seems to have far more common sense than the west. They will expel them and good on them. Our government would stem this virus in the bud also, if it woke up to the fact that it is a world wide problem and not just Australia.. but if the left get in next elections it will be open slather on australians...the left will open the doors again to all scum...
How are Pakistani (or Arab) led jihadists going to operate in ethnically homogeneous Japan? I doubt these guys can go to the bathroom without the police knowing about it. The AT article has precious little to say about Japan, probably for good reason.
This should only be our biggest problem.
A little more Bushido = a little less jihad-o.
And a hearty Domo origato! the the spiritual heirs of the 'Seven Samurai' waiting to answer these Islamic bandits with some can do ken-do attitude.
Interesting comments by tokyobk and the comments about the Tokyo Koran incident. I have lived in Japan 7 years. I agree with Tokyobk. I am quite confident the mosques have been infiltrated and those attending mosques in japan are closely observed (as they should be). Additionally I do not think Japan would think twice about infiltrating these organizations or racial profiling. Japan has been profiling people from the Middle East since the early 1990's, even going to the extent of following visitors from such countries to their destinations and ensuring they are doing what they claim they are doing (I know this for a fact, not speculation). Of course this is easier in a virtually homogeneous society. This is wise of the government here and is just plain common sense.
I was living in Japan at the time of the Toyama Koran incident and actually did not hear about it. I read up on the incident and asked a Japanese friend about it and he informed me that it did happen. He also said most Japanese were on the side of the girl who desecrated the Korans (Basically the Muslims think it is OK to blow up centuries old Buddhist statues, but it is not OK to damage a couple of books). On a side note I have never heard complaints or protests over bibles that are destroyed (or prohibited in) Islamic countries.
Most of the people in Japan are still highly suspicious of all foreigners, and based on what is going on in the world they are even more suspicious of Muslims and those from the Middle East. Hopefully this vigilance will prevent an act of terror in japan.
As tokyobk pointed out...if the Islamic madmen are successful in carrying out an act of terror in Japan, you can rest assured that all Muslims in Japan will pay dearly, most likely at the hands of the rightists and perhaps Japanese organized crime. I believe they would probably have to worry least about the government.
Just another opinion from a guy living here
I will trust in Japan, they´re proud of their culture and their country. I don´t see them PCs
