Pakistan: Police asked to arrest 16 prayer leaders

Despite strong indications that [1] jihadist allegiances can be found at the highest levels of the Pakistani government, cosmetic anti-jihad efforts continue. Meanwhile, why did these "prayer leaders" need arms licenses and weapons? I don't know of any priest or rabbi who packs heat. What were these guys praying for, anyway?

From the [2] Daily Times, with thanks to Nicolei:

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry has asked Islamabad Police to apprehend 16 prayer leaders placed in the 11EE category of the Anti-Terrorism Act. The ministry has also asked the Islamabad district administration to cancel the prayer leaders’ arms licences and seize their weapons.
