GAZA (Reuters) - Masked gunmen stormed into a club for United Nations workers in Gaza City on Sunday and blew up the drinking hall in a new sign of spiralling unrest ahead of a Palestinian election.It was the first such attack in Gaza on a U.N. target and came against a backdrop of growing unease among foreigners. Just over one day earlier, a group freed three British hostages that had been seized to demand foreign pressure on Israel.
The bombing was another big blow for President Mahmoud Abbas, just hours after he had vowed to impose order ahead of a January 25 election and as militants announced the expiry of a de facto truce with Israel that they had followed at his behest.
Gunmen burst into the U.N. club, one of the few places that alcohol is served in conservative Muslim Gaza. It had been closed for the day. The attackers tied up the security guard and struck him with gun butts.
Then they set explosives in front of the bar, unrolled a detonator cable and blew up the charges, ripping up the roof and shattering the windows....
Why, they're no better than the WCTU!
Apparently they weren't satisfied to have what the boys in the back room were having.
It is difficult for me to feel sympathy for the UN staff. The UN as an organization is always backing the palestinians, so let them reap the harvest of supporting terror-spreading whiners.

I like the use of the word "conservative" in the article. Sort of conservative like the folks in those old Mickey Rooney movies where he played the son of the dignified Judge Armstrong in the typical American small town.
But conservative Muslim is a bit different. Sort of packs a punch or bang.
The headline should be "UN child get's mad at father."
This is just one more example of why the UN needs to be dismantled. When you legitimize terrorism you get terrorism.
In light of this event, should we look for Kofi Annan to hold another "Islamophobia" conference in the coming weeks?
After all, we just don't understand Islam, right Kofi poo?
Now there's a thankless task, being the security guard at a bar in a place where 80% of the inhabitants want shariah law.
I have to say that Sharon's policy of giving "back" Gaza seems to be working extremely well. For the first time, the world can see exactly what a Pali state will look like, and I don't think anyone likes what they see. Other than the palis, is anyone now calling for the West bank to be "handed back"? The UN and othyer do-gooders are being forced out of Gaza, and the area will shortly revert to 7th century tribal warfare. Once the local government collapses, there will be no one to accept US, EU and UN cash or food supplies, so anarchy will be the order of the day, if it is not already. Once the various gangs finish killing one another off, Israel can deal with any survivors.

You are so right on with that statement...there can be no co-existance because that is what it say's in the koran and we know how that author (mohammad)came about writing this!!!!!!!
