A mother described yesterday hearing her son shot dead after he refused to convert to Islam.Ruth Marriott told an inquest into her son's death that she heard gunshots on the day Adrian was shot five times in the head a few weeks before his 21st birthday.
Mr Marriott, an accountancy student and gang member, was killed in a park near his home in Brixton, south London, in June 2004.
Three members of a rival gang, known as the Muslim Boys, were cleared in September last year of conspiracy to murder Mr Marriott after the prosecution offered no evidence at the Old Bailey.
His mother told the inquest at Southwark Coroners' Court yesterday: "We heard the shooting. We heard gun fire....
"Adrian was told on the Sunday prior to his death that he would be killed if he did not become a Muslim by the Wednesday, which was the day he died."
Asked by the coroner, John Sampson, whether her son had taken the threat seriously, Mrs Marriott said: "I do not think he did."

No evidence? None at all? What about this evidence about a threat made, from the mother of the victim? Why was the case brought at all if there was absolutely no evidence? Something strange here.
Not that I'm overly concerned about gang members being killed, but it does set the precedent for the rest of us. Convert or die. All in my beloved home country.

I doubt very much if Adrian Marriott was closely related to the Marriott hotel moguls, because he came from a council estate in a run down area of inner London and was black.
If I were Ruth Marriott I would bring a civil suit against these muslims. The burden of proof would lie on them to prove their innocence.
Why is it that none of this gets reported in the U.S? Around the world, Muslim attacks against non-muslims has become an everyday occurence, but seldom is there any mention in the U.S. media. Yet, on the rare occasion a non-muslim defends themselves, it's an international incident with the defender portrayed in a negative light. Is this willful ignorance or are the media fearful of attacks themselves?
And of course the BBC covered this story didn't they? NOT

The fact that they were cleared of all charges should come as no surprise. For some reason, Europeans want to think that it is true that the "religion of peace" has been hijacked by radicals. And to answer Greg's question, the reason why these crimes by Muslims on non Muslims are never reported by our media is because "our" media dosen't want the non violent practitioners of that "religion of peace" to be mistakenly singled in with the radicals. But then, they'll be take the position against a believer, an act punishsble by death!!! I mean the 9/11 terrorists aren't even called Muslims, nor is their nationality mentioned. And the media won't even show the airplanes hitting the World Trade Center because, as they claim, it's too disturbing for Americans to see over and over again. Nuts to that!!! September 11th, 2001 did happen. The Islamofeces that did the hijacking of the planes were Muslims, and they were from the Middle East. The majority from Saudi Arabia, "our friends" mind you. And a gang called the Muslim Boys committed murder on a young man that refused to be intimidated into a belief system that he didn't want to be a part of. The Muslim Boys are well on their way to becoming good little terrorists. Who knows, while praticing "peace", they may peacefully strap on a homicide bombers vest and, peacefully blow up the London Tower, or Buckingham Palace.

Which is why the Telegraph is taking the trouble to report on the inquest. A coroners verdict of "unlawful killing" is very good evidence to put before the High Court in the civil claim, not to mention being the only lever likely to obtain any public funding for Mrs Marriot.
Getting back to the original criminal trial in September it was mentioned that on the day he was killed his sister had "accepted" a veil from the gang to signify her adoption of Islam. I find myself wondering how she is fixed now.
The BBC spoke about that, one time, but it would be forgotten very soon.

The Original Evening Standard story is apparently no longer available but it was mighty chilling. The main character, "Winston" is apparently a pseudonym and apparently modelled after the main character in "A Clockwork Orange". What I do recall taking away from this original story last February is that while the (liberal) architects of European immigration and "assimilation" will no doubt manage to move away from what they have created and thereby escape the consequences of their policies, it is the lower class natives, with no resources to flee, who will pay the heaviest price.
