Strike a blow for anti-dhimmitude: support Arla Foods

The Danish company Arla Foods faces an international boycott stemming from Muslim cartoon rage. Help Arla Foods survive this unconscionable bullying and intimidation, and help the free world protect the principle of freedom of speech: please buy as many of their products as you possibly can. Here is an email received by Jihad Watch reader Steve from an Arla Foods executive:

Thank you for your e-mail and your support.

You can find our products in the cheese deli in most supermarkets. We
market the following products here in the US:

Rosenborg - Blue cheeses
Denmarks Finest - Havarti (an imported mild and creamy yellow cheese)
Lurpak - Butter
Dofino - Havarti (produced in Wisconsin)
Mediterra - Feta

You can also visit our website for further information: arlafoodsusa.com

You should be able to find our products in most stores, but certainly in Safeway, Albertsons and Costco.

If only I liked cheese. But after all, we can help the Danish economy by buying things like Bang and Olufsen products - hi-fi systems, televisions etc.

In the UK they own quite a few dairys and supply Cravendale Milk, in the green carton.
http://www.arlafoods.co.uk/
Their new website is under construction but the is an old one with alternative home pages and some illogical links.

good to see this "buy danish" meme taking off.

i have a "BUY DANISH" widget thingie on the right hand panel of my blog , with links to all things Danish.

http://islamophobic.blogspot.com

*cracks open another can of Carlsberg beer*

(apologies to Mr. Spencer for the shameless self promotion)

i would kindly ask all Jihadwatchers who have a blog to do the same - and buy danish for as long as this ridiculous "boycott" goes on.

Bad link given for the U.S.A. website. The appropriate link is: http://www.arlafoodsusa.com/

Not wild about Havarti cheeses - too mild - but I have had the Rosenborg blue cheese. I think I will buy more. Anyone here know how to say "sod off" in Arabic.

Buy Danish Arla dairy for freedom of expression!

Doesn't have any ring whatsoever.

Arla cheese for free speech! Arla cheese heads?

I usually shop at Harris Teeter, Food Lion and Walmart SuperCenter, and I know I have occasionally bjy havarti and other more exoctic cheeses for a cocktail party. I will definitely buy some Danish Food every week. Love the cheeses and will try to buy Danish. I eat a lot of yogurt too and I'll have to check if they have any yogurt in America.

What is the general reaction in Denmark to muslim boycotts of Danish products? Are people reacting? Are the reactions dhimmified? Apologetic? Angry?

hi del,

Well people are generally angry about it and don't wan't to give in, but of course this is a nightmare for the danish companies who specialise in exporting to the muslem world. Some companies deliver products that are only sold in these countries and they will soon be bankrupt if this situation isn't fixed quickly. I obviously fell sorry for them because they had no way of knowing that something like this was about to happen.

As far as I understand this boycot is illegal under some of the agreements that the EU has made with the muslem world, so there are indications that the other EU-countries might offer us help and thereby put some pressure on the arab governments. The danish government has now finally realized that this thing is to big for it to handle alone and has been in contact with the other EU-countries. But I can guarantee you that people here are ANGRY not AFRAID!!

Albertsons. Got one of those. Gonna buy some havarti tomorrow.

Do your part. Cut the cheese for freedom.

How's that for a rallying cry?

It's true what Odin says. Some ~80% of the Danish population opposes the Prime minister bowing his head and appologizing, while some 62% oppose the Jyllands-Posten coughing up an apology.
The ones who want us to bow our heads, are the international corporations with big interests in the middle-east, the Danish ambassador to the middle-east and "Danish Industry"(Dansk Industri. Organisation of industrial companies).

Apparently we can expect the EU to get involved on Monday. Atleast, our foreign minister is going to brief the other EU ministers about the situation on monday.
Dunno what'll come out of it, but I'm not holding my breath.

OT but worthy of attention
BNP Chief tells court that Islam is a 'wicked, vicious religion'

Testifying during his trial on charges of inciting racial hatred yesterday, Mr Griffin said: "There was [initially a nationalist] culture and a movement which I suppose was racist - that all Asian people behaved the same way and that we didn't really like them. That was it."

But he insisted his outlook had since changed and that his use of the word "Asian" during verbal attacks on the Muslim faith was a mistake, attributable to the fact he was thinking on his feet and making up his speeches as he went along. He did not "hate" anybody and had never deliberately set out to incite hatred, he claimed.

Mr Griffin insisted his distaste was not for "Asians" but for Islam, which he considered to be a "wicked, vicious" faith. He said: "When I criticise Islam, I criticise that religion and the culture it sets up, certainly not Muslims as a group and most definitely not Asians."

The BNP leader went on to suggest the whole of Europe would be forced to choose within "not too many decades" either to remain as a democratic secular society or to become an Islamic republic. "If this country becomes an Islamic republic, it would be in many, many ways far worse," he said. Islam, he claimed, was "the terrible mortal enemy of all our fundamental values. It's a dragon".

I stopped in at the local Stop & Shop. I bought the Havarti - Denmark's Finest. It is quite good. According to the late Dr Atkins, you can eat an unlimited amount of cheese without gaining weight. I went looking for Carlsbad beer, but they did not stock it. Does Denmark produce any wines?

My dog breeder friends in Denmark tell me people are HOT about this boycott.

I have written to Walmart asking that they support Danish free speech by carrying more Danish products. It might help if other people would write Walmart as well.

However bad this might be for some companies, and I do feel bad for anyone who is put out of work over this, I do think this is a good thing for people to see the reality of islam, and the consequences if it is allowed to tyrannize the world.

buy danish beer, bacon, cheese, milk - whatever you can find.

we simply CANNOT let the danes cave in on this one. all of us have to lend support and encouragement.

if you decide to buy a six pack of Carlsberg instead of your usually Bud, then that's ok. every small effort in support of Denmark is whats needed.

and i'm speaking to the American jwatchers - remember your ban of everything French? well , mobilise yerselves - and do the same in reverse - and just buy Danish stuff.

we cannot let these mullahs win. period.

I love Havarti but tended to avoid it due to its priciness. Now I have a reason to eat lots of it!
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Arla Ahkubar

Good.

Now let us also begin a boycott of our own.

1. Do not go on holidays to muslim nations even though may appear very affordable, as in the long run we contribute to islamic funds. Besides holidays spots in Egypt and other muslim nations, can seriously damage your health.

2. Do not buy products made in muslim nations, particularly those from Hamas Palestine.

3. Inform and educate others on the above two.

For the record, I emailed them for this information yesterday, and got a swift, positive reply. Unfortunately, only the butter was available at the commissary, but I'll hit the cheese aisles elsewhere. I don't like Carlsberg, is there any good Danish beer?

Name five great products from Denamrk

1. Butter

2. Cheese

3. Beer - though I prefer ales

4. Bacon - yummy

5. Cartoons.

I have sent an email of support to Arla Foods, to let them know that though they may be in the front line of this dispute at present, they need not feel that they are bearing the burden alone. I have undertaken to purchase their own products in preference to those of competitors while these attempts at bullying continue. Their web page has a comment form for this purpose.

www.arlafoods.com

I also sent a copy of the text of my message to the Saudi Embassy.

ukemb@mofa.gov.sa

odin: Thanks for the link.

We can buy Danish but we also need to start a boycott of our own.

One sees how rapidly this cartoon affair has been expanded. Now Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, etc are all agitated about this affair. They have deliberately done this to pressure a small country.

We need to organise a similar boycott and expand it to all muslim nations. All of them are complicit in blowing this matter up, as they have collectively referred the matter to the OIC.

Let us start thinking of ways to hurt Arab/muslim economies.

Do not go on holidays to Arab or any muslim state.

Do not buy products if they originate in any muslim state, that includes Indonesia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia etc.

Do not buy textiles, shoes (even if they are made by Nike) that are made in a muslim country. Nike may suffer a little but when it starts to put Bangladeshi or Pakistani workers out of work, it will begin to have an effect. Look at the tag for place of manufacture.

Do not buy fruits or vegetables that come from the West Bank or Gaza.

At home, boycott muslim grocers, shops and restuarants, though some may disguise themselves.

Advise your friends and families. Spread the word that 50 odd muslim states are waging economic war on a small nation that ever so slighly tried to excercise freedom of expression within its own territory.

More:

Do not use any muslim or Arab airline or travel agent.

You know, during my weekly shopping I bought several Arla products, and I liked them. I especially liked Rosenburg blue cheese and although I am Guinness drinker, a few cases of Carlsberg beer will make for a nice change.
Do they make any wine?

Thank you arab boycotters, you have given Denmark a new buyer of their products and their are a lot more consumers in America then Saudi Arabia.

I have sent Arla an email message of support and tomorrow will find their feta cheese to buy.

Does anyone have ideas and addresses for Danish places to send email messages of support? To the newspaper? To their embassy here? To "Reporters Without Borders"?

Is there a Danish Civil Liberties Union we can sic on the complainers? :-)

As for a slogan, maybe a play on "Something is rotten in the state of Denmark." (Hamlet, I, iv, 90)

Sent to ARLA:

"I have been told that Moslems worldwide are being asked to boycott your products because of Denmark's admirable position on free speech in that country. I will purchase only your products for all of my dairy needs. Kindly tell me where to purchase them. I reside in XXXXXXX, CA. Additionally, please tell me where residents of XXXXXXXXX can purchase your products since I will pass word to many people to buy your products. "

Hot off the press of the Embassy of Denmark in Washington:-

"REACTION TO NEWSPAPER DRAWINGS
The embassy has recently received a number of e-mails concerning the publication of drawings of the Prophet Muhammad in the Danish Newspaper, Jyllands Posten.

The Embassy would like to emphasize the position of the Danish Government on this issue.

Denmark's Prime Minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, has in his New Year speech condemned any expression, action or indication that attempts to demonize groups of people on the basis of their religion or ethnic background.

These comments were a reaction to the intense debate about freedom of expression and limits to freedom of expression that followed the publication by Jyllands Posten.

In some contexts, the issue has unfortunately been portrayed as if the drawings were part and parcel of a smear campaign against Muslims in Denmark. This is certainly not the case. The Danish Government fully respects Islam as one of the world's major religions.

Jyllands Posten is a private and independent newspaper that is neither owned by, nor affiliated with, the Government or any political party in Denmark.

In a letter of 6 January 2006 addressed to the Secretary General of the Arab League, H.E. Amre Moussa, Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs H.E. Per Stig Møller stated that the Danish Government understood that Muslim circles had felt hurt and offended by the Danish newspaper's drawings. In a January 4th op-ed in a Danish national newspaper the Danish Foreign Minister personally warned against disrespect among religions. It was, however, also underlined that freedom of expression is a vital and indispensable element of Danish society and that the Danish Government cannot influence what an independent newspaper chooses to publish.

The Prime Minister's speech has been transmitted to concerned authorities, including the Organisation of Islamic Countries and to The Arab League."

Sounds like its over and fat lady is singing...they obvioulsy do not want the support!

Oh well, I guess we tried

I feel stupid. It was posted already that Costco and Albertsons have their products.

Well, I don't conclude from the embassy item that things are over and support is not needed or wanted. The item is, after all, an embassy's formal memorandum about formal speeches and memoranda; one expects them to be dull and not feisty. And on the other side, demonstrations and boycotts are growing, not fading. So I don't see it as over or the Danes as having caved in.

If they hated the cartoons, will they like this?
Check it out; it's great! I sent the link to C.A.I.R. Be sure to listen to the whole thing because the best part is at the end.

I bought some Danish blue cheese today (yummy) and some Carlsburg beer. I really prefer German beer but when the kids come out to shoot skeets, they'll drink anything.

'Elephant Beer' is Danish. Both smooth and potent (5%+). For all you beer-drinkers, salute.

Arla's Lurpak spreadable butter is one of the great inventions of all time and, so far as I know, there are no decent rival products. I'm not sure if it is available in the US - you certainly get it in England. Americans on the list should write to their supermarkets asking them to stock this great product, and thus support the cause.

Thanks a lot to all of you out there supporting Arla and Denmark - it warms.

Maybe we can take some heat off the Danes by spreading Derek's graphic around, below. Let the entire Muslim world know that not just the Danes can produce fine art. Let them know that if they piss off the Danes they piss us off too. And show them we won't tolerate this crap. Spread Derek's graphic of Mohammed, and thereby upset the Muslims till they don't know who to boycott anymore: http://thestudyofrevenge.blogspot.com/ Posted by: sonofwalker

This was a great portrait. My only suggestion - replace the Nazi swastika with a crescent & star, so that no one has any doubt about who it is.

Is Kirkland a Danish brand? I was under that impression from the Kirkland branded Danish butter cookies that Costco sells during Christmas. I buy a lot of Kirkland branded products, so in case it is, I'm already doing my bit.

However, before jumping on Arla Foods bandwagon, they are showing signs of dhimmitude - and the support they get should be conditional on their refusing to respond to Mohammedan petulance.

http://www.arlafoods.com/appl/HJ/HJ202COM/HJ202D01.NSF/0/3DE8AAFDECABBA97C12571020061F1C1

Other suggestion for a boycott of Muslims - boycott any food marked Halal. Apart from the disgusting way such animals are slaughtered, that is another way of paying the jiziya. Just say no.

It is really great to see the support for Danish products in the current situation. Don't misunderstand the official statement from the Danish goverment - they stand firm on "freedom of speech" and will never apologize. Muslims has NO say in what any Danish newspaper will print - and neither has the Danish government, of course. The Danish people are generally pissed that cartoons can develop into this and support a firm handling from the government. Individual Danish companies may die due to this but principles of freedom is more important - and with the help of the free world, it may even create a new and bigger marketplace for these companies. Thanks for your support!

Any of you know some people who belong to hacker groups? Maybe you're a member of a hacker forum? If you do, could you ask them to start targetting muslim internet newsmedia?
For the 2nd time in 3 days, Danish newsmedia are under attack from "script kiddies"... It's obvious muslims are the perpetrators, as the newsmedia under attack are all located on the same server/network as Jyllands-Posten. Basically, the muslims are waging cyber warfare on us.

I would also like to thank everybody for being so supportive!!

If any of you gyus ever come to Denmark I'll buy you a beer!! :)

Odin, O one eyed one, thank you. Can I have a bottle of Albani Giraf Beer please?

Arla's sales have practically ceased throughout the entire middle-east now. Most stores/chains have pulled the products, and the few that still carry them aren't selling anything.
Gotta admit, once muslims decide on something, they're pretty damn effecient. It's a shame they can't use their effeciency for some good... But I guess that would be "un-islamic".

As the previous Danes, I too would like to express my appreciation for your support.

I've only seen Lurpak and Havarti cheese here in Oz. I've eaten Havarti on many occasions but never really paid attention to what Lurpak was. I had no idea it was butter. You learn something every day! I think I'll pick some up tomorrow as I do like butter.

The other Danish cheese we get here, and which hubby and I just love is Blue Castello. We've been buying that for years. Excellent stuff. I'm hoping it will help this anti-boycott movement if I continue buying Blue Castello because I don't believe the other brands are available here, but I'll check.

Blue Castello's excellent with fresh figs which are in season now, and growing in my backyard. Put a small piece on a halved fig, wrap it in a slice of prosciutto and grill it til the prosciutto is just getting crisp. Heaven! A great big finger to the Muslim world - Danish cheese with a delicious pork product.

Sure Granny Weatherwax! A better danish beer is a Ceres Royal:

http://www.royalunibrew.com/Default.aspx?ID=467&PageNum=4

I dunno where you can buy it, but it's definitely better than say a Carlsberg...

Skol! as my husbands distant ancestors said.

?When someone offends the Prophet (pbuh), it is not only just a local problem but also affects Muslims worldwide,? Abdul Wahid Petersen, a leading imam in Denmark.

But blowing up civilians in Israel is OK so? eh?

idiots.

American jihadwatchers might not realise this , but Denmark has a detachment of 500 viking troops in southern Iraq, and has been a loyal supporter of President Bush in the war on terror. I'm not sure how you Americans can get in touch with them to lend them support , say thanks and that you're thinking of them - maybe via CentCom? or the Pentagon?

just a thought.

"viking troops" - i think the danes liked being called vikings. proud of their warrior past (as far as i know)

Now here's a twist I didn't see comming this early.

(My own translation once more...)

EU will protect Denmark

EU will go to WTO if the arab governments are encouraging a boycott of Danish goods.
Socialdemocrats encourages the PM (enter into) dialog.

(This is the COOL part) ANY BOYCOTT OF DANISH GOODS, IS A BOYCOTT OF EU'S GOODS(Cool part ends). If governments are encouraging it, the EU will consider raising the issue in the WTO.

So says the trade commisioner Peter Mandelson to the Saudi-arabian trade minister after several arabic countries have removed Danish goods from their shelves in protest in protest against the Jyllands-Posten's Muhammed caricatures.

and there's an al jazeera report about lots of Muslims reverting back to being 3 years old and running around like crybabies going "waaaaah - they hurt my feelings - waaaaaaaaaaah"

http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/6362975C-60D7-4E26-A64E-2A7B1D561DA4.htm

Oh yeah, apparently there's an sms campaign going on in Denmark, encouraging danes to boycott shops, kiosks, pizzarias and anything else run by "danish" muslims. If we can't make the muslims in the middle-east feel it, atleast we can make the ones here feel it. Least that's what I think is the idea behind it.

Archduke, yeah you're right; we love being called vikings and we are quite proud of our past!

"So says the trade commisioner Peter Mandelson to the Saudi-arabian trade minister after several arabic countries have removed Danish goods from their shelves in protest in protest against the Jyllands-Posten's Muhammed caricatures."

just some background - Peter Mandelson is Jewish, and rumoured to be gay as well. Dont expect any dhimmitude from him (despite his left wing background)

"Archduke, yeah you're right; we love being called vikings and we are quite proud of our past!"

no problem man. and thanks for founding all the major cities in my native country, Ireland - Dublin, Cork, Waterford ,and Limerick - all founded by Danish Vikings... which probably where my blond hair comes from!

Muslim blogger posts up some pictures of the signs being put up in Saudi , and translates them:

Danish PM replies to UN - reiterates stance on freedom of speech - and thus is fast becoming a prime candidate for one of those Medal Of Freedom things that you give out in the U.S.A. (in my view..):

http://www.zaman.com/?bl=international&alt=&trh=20060126&hn=29053

A notice prepared by the ministries of Justice, Foreign Affairs and Integration read that neither Denmark nor the newspaper publishing these cartoons "did anything to be ashamed of."

"In the letter we sent to the UN, as the government, we expressed we cannot pressure the press. Freedom of expression is deeply ingrained in a society where democracy prevails," Rasmussen said.

Danish PM's New Years speech - it gives a good insight into his thinking.
side note : calling all Danish vikings - can you like, reinvade the now dhimmified UK and install this guy as PM for us? thanks.

http://www.ambottawa.um.dk/en/servicemenu/News/PrimeMinisterAndersFoghRasmussensNewYearAddress2006.htm

Relevant quote:

In Denmark, we have a healthy tradition of putting critical questions to all authorities, be they of a political or religious nature. We use humour. We use satire. Our approach to authorities is actually rather relaxed.

And to put it bluntly: it is this unorthodox approach to authorities, it is this urge to question the established order, it is this inclination to subject everything to critical debate that has led to progress in our society.

For it is in this process that new horizons open, new discoveries are made, new ideas see the light of day. While old systems and outdated ideas and views fade and disappear.

That is why freedom of speech is so vital. And freedom of speech is absolute. IT IS NOT NEGOTIABLE. [ my emphasis]

Archduke: "calling all Danish vikings - can you like, reinvade the now dhimmified UK and install this guy as PM for us? thanks."

I'd love to. While we're at it, should we invade France again as well?

Seems the palestinians have completely lost it. Not only are they "encouraging" Danish nationals to leave Palestinian territories. Guess that would be too mild for the crazies. Instead, the al-aqsa martyrs "encourage" Danish, Norwegian and SWEDISH nationals to leave Palestinian territory within 72 hours.
Can someone tell me what the Swedes have done? Ok, so it was a part of Denmark some hundred years ago, but still...

word on the newswires is that Islamic Jihad have stepped in - they've now got 48 hours to get out.

The Swedish thing is because some Swedish newspapers are thinking about printing the cartoons.

Trouble is - Denmark & Sweden are part of the European Union, and if memory serves me right, theres a number of Danes in charge of border security in Gaza (instead of dealing with Israelis - they are dealing with rather nicer Danish folks...)

so, this will backfire on them , big time.

From Spain all my support to Denmark, please continue to defend our freedom, The West Freedom against these barbarians.

time for the west to start buying hybrid cars or or more energy efficient cars, and just let the middle east revert back into a tribe of desert nomads.

lets face it folks - buying a a gas guzzling SUV isn't exactly patriotic.

I don't know if you people are aware that Denmark has actually developed the solution the worlds dependence on oil? It's a little hydrogen-pill. It can be used to safely store hydrogen for cars, heaters for houses and various other things.
I'd love to see my PM spend every last dime of it's financial surplus, estimated at around $15 billion, to bring this wonderful technology to the world ASAP.

In other news...

Denmark refuses to apologize over Prophet cartoons

By Karin Lundback
COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark's Prime Minister said on Sunday his government could not act against satirical cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed after Libya closed its embassy in Copenhagen amid growing Muslim anger over the dispute.

The newspaper Jyllands-Posten had not intended to insult Muslims when it published the drawings, Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen said, referring to an editorial on the paper's Web site in Danish and Arabic...

Source: http://today.reuters.com/news/newsArticle.aspx?type=worldNews&storyID=2006-01-29T225311Z_01_L29575168_RTRUKOC_0_US-RELIGION-LIBYA-DENMARK.xml&archived=False

Look at the way islamic internet sites are organising the attack on Denmark and thus Freedom of Expression throughout the West.

# Officially condemn the attack on all levels, and sound your objection strongly. It is strange how we usually condemn other matters of lesser significance, but this time, people have remained inexplicably silent. It is also strange that the foreign minister of England condemned this outrage before any of the Muslims, who should have done so before anyone else.

# Register your objection with the official local authorities like ministries of Islaamic affairs and Islaamic organizations.

# Sound your objection to social Islaamic foundations, organizations and bodies.

# Thinkers, official leaders and scholars in different fields must proclaim their condemnation of this outrage and openly object to it using all means, especially the pulpits of the two Sacred Mosques.

# Islaamic centers in the West must sound their objections and respond to this.

# Muslims must send e-mails objecting to and condemning the publication of these images to all the organizations and people concerned, and to anyone with influence in the Western communities. If millions of e-mails were received from Muslims in this regard, this would certainly have a noticeable impact on the situation.

etc

Read it all, there is lots more.

http://asadnafees.blogspot.com/2006/01/danes-mess-up-oic-demands-unqualified.html

We have to organise as well and spread the message.

So the Saudis won't be buying Danish bacon?

And nearly 1000 Saudi employees of Arla may become unemployed.

We need to make sure that we help make up for any losses in the Islamic countries by asking every grocery store in the US, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and east Asia to carry Danish products.

Then we ought to demand our governments open up arctic oil fields and increase production in the North Sea as well as buying oil from Russia, Mexico and non-Muslim countries. Let them boycott Danish cheese while we boycott Saudi and Kuwaiti oil. If we have to buy oil from any Arab country, let's buy it from Khaddafy.

I'll be eating more Danish products, and so will all my family and our friends. To Hell with the Muslims. Let 'em eat pork.

Bought some Arla/Dofino havarti today, and I've emailed relatives in various parts of the country urging them to buy up some Arla brands, too.

When has activism ever been so simple, let alone delicious?

I can't remember...was it the Swedish Army that taught the French Army how to retreat?

If the Swedes print the cartoons, then I will be wrong about the above statement.

on the plus side , at least the Queen of Denmark seems to "get it"

DanishDynamite

do they still bottte Dynamite, that was also a great beer

shiva,

"do they still bottte Dynamite, that was also a great beer"

I don't know to be honest. Never heard of it.

What I have heard, however, is that the muslims aren't too clever. Ok, so they boycott Danish and Norwegian products, but that's not all they're boycotting, oh no. They're even boycotting products that are 100% Saudi-arabian and products produced by a New-Zealand company... How many muslims DOES it take to screw in a lightbulb?

"How many muslims DOES it take to screw in a lightbulb?"

well, what do you expect from a country that bans the teaching of evolution and classical music?

By now I'm not really expecting anything. I did actually believe that they had just a few braincells, but I guess I was wrong.

Seems Jyllands-Posten is currently suffering from its third hacker attack in 4 days...

Oh, could I urge you guys to write a complain to BBC World/News, asking them to get their muhammed cartoon story straight? The 12 cartoons DIDN'T contain any caricatures of muhammed as a friggin pig! Muslim imams CLAIM they were part of a trio sent to them via email after their street protest. For all we know, they could have made them themselves... Bloody annoyed. Finally a large MSM picks up the story, and then they misrepresent the facts!

*sigh*

what do you expect DanishDynamite - it's the BBC - an organisation that calls Hamas "militant" and darent use the word "muslim" or "islam" in their reports about them.

Well... They have actually corrected their presentation of the story. It's now a lot closer to the facts, though still very limited in scope with a lot of "need to know" information left out.
Guess that's all I can hope for...

Seems like there may be a hacker war underway. Danes against muslims.
A chain-email encouraging people to take part in attacks on 5 middle-eastern newsagencies, have been circulating Denmark today. The initiative comes as a response to the several hacker attacks on Danish newsmedia, including Jyllands-Posten.
The email apparently contained a program for download which, once initiated, would allow the computer to be used in a DDoS attack.

On Saturday a group of 120-130 moderate muslims, who wants to end the dispute between Denmark and muslims, will work out and present a declaration to the arab world.
Further they are going to establish a "network", a kind of loose affiliation group, that's going to speak out on matters regarding muslims in Denmark; a privilege reserved, untill now, for the Danish imams.

Buy Danish Freedom Cheese!

Buy (and use) cars that consume less gasoline!

"The message reads: To our dear customers, Due to the offensive actions against our prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Al-Tamimi stores would like to announce boycotting Danish products of all types."
Boycott Al-Tamimi stores!

Check out what the saudi blogger didn't want you to see, at http://thestudyofrevenge.blogspot.com/2006101/portrait-of-muhammad.html.

An accurate picture, I dare say.

I'm on my way to buy some feta cheese. Anybody need anything from the store?

I hope ARLA comes out with a new pork-flavored cheese! That will show 'em!
