Syrian Minister of Information: Ahmadinejad a "hero"

The Alawites are forever indebted to the Shi'ite mullahs of Iran for protecting their precarious position of power in Syria, and they are more interested than ever in paying this debt. "Syrian nation calls Iranian President Ahmadinejad a 'hero,'" from the Islamic Republic News Agency:

The Syrian nation has praised Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as "a brave man and a hero," Syrian Minister of Information Mahdi Dakhlallah said here Sunday.

During a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Damascus Mohammad Hassan Akhtari, Dakhlallah assessed the outcome of President Ahmadinejad's recent visit to Syria as "successful."

He also praised the "kind" government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Yes, very kind. Just ask this girl. Or this one.

Ah, I had missed Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf of the Iraqi Information Ministry. Nice to see Syria's guy has stepped up to the plate with more asinine pronouncements.

There are probably many more to come, given how Syria and Iran seem to be on a second honeymoon lately.

By Islam's standards --- those set forth in the Koran and the Sunnah --- President Mahmoud is indeed a hero. Only an Apostate or an Infidel could argue with this.

MORE MOSLEMS MORE KORANS MORE HADITHS MORE SIRATS MORE ISLAM PLEASE!

Where oh where is the comparison between the standards by which the Moslem lives and the standards by which the fully-human person lives.

Well, here we go again!!!!! And just what do we learn from this news item??

We learn that Islam really has only THREE pillars of "wisdom" of course. AND, HERE THEY ARE:

Pillar One: BOMB.

Pillar Two: INFIDEL.

Pillar Three: EXPLOSION.

Yes--heroic, isn't it?

This just proves to me again what I was telling a friend earlier today. The way to deal with Islam in this country is to declare it a terrorist orginization. It is NOT a religion but a terrorist cult. In this way it could be outlawed and every cult center (church) could be shut down as an enemy terrorist front. Ban their quran as a terrorist guide book. And deport every muslim in the country who doesnt denounce Islam publicly. This would be a good start!

frodnum-

"This would be a good start!"

What would you do for Act Two?

Force them to show four projected films on each square side of the Ka'aba in Mecca: "King of Kings" on cube one (to show them the positive and forgiving philosophy that their warlord prophet turned on its head); "The Life of Brian" on cube two (to show that we have transcended vengeance against irreverent humor); "Khartoum" on cube three (so much for the "Mahdi"); and "Throne of Blood" on cube four (depicting the grim end of all corrupt ambition)?

The sleeping West will do nothing along the lines you advocate until Islamic true believers massacre more of our neighbors even more gruesomely than they did on 9/11.

(People fail to appreciate the true horrors of that attack because the p.c. press and t.v. stations instantly suppressed most of the mind-numbingly horrifying images of the people who leaped to their death from 100 stories up or were sliced to pieces in the Twin Towers- and Pentagon- or boiled alive in jet fuel, or crushed like roadkill under the collapsing skyscrapers, or butchered on the doomed planes with boxcutters to intimidate the disbelieving passengers ... all images expunged from the Collective Memory in order to keep the American people docile and delusional about the full scope of the shockingly inhuman slaughter. Which is why they waver now. They don't see the reality of the monstrosity, having had it censored from the story.)

I always picture a stewardess's severed hands, bound-together at the wrist, found lying on the roof a building near one of the World Trade Towers.

She was my sister.

(Even though I never learned her name.)

All who would emulate her killers must die.

That's my "good place to start".

I'm not certain yet whether this is good news or bad news, but this NewsMax story about Ahmadinjad suggests even his Syrian friends may not be able to pull his foot out of his mouth in time to keep his head intact:

If there is any chance of an Islamic reformation, this inspirational woman will surely lead it.

Rick S. and other Muslim apologists, listen and take note.

NEWSFLASH:
bombs have gone off in south west iran

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/4642170.stm

"At least six people were killed and 24 injured in two blasts in the south-western Iranian city of Ahwaz, police said.

The two bombs exploded outside a privately-run bank and a government office in the city in Khuzestan Province, which borders Iraq. "

merrywhitney:

If Bashir Al-Assad, of blowing up Rafik Hariri fame, is the best Ahmadnijad can do by way of a friendly head of state,it actually bodes well for the break-up of the ostensible solidarity between Muslim nations.

Actually, he is a hero, when you consider that a hero is a sandwich. That's what he is a big, turkey sandwich.

My Friends, you're missing the boat here. This is just a cover to throw us off the trail. The "terrorist in chief" of Iran has been identified as one of captors during the Iranian Hostage Crisis. This "hero" thing is a ruse. Ahmadinejad is being hailed as the hero of the 1978-79 hostage crisis.
Mahdi Dakhlallah is more the minister of misinformation or misdirection. Maybe Iran did help against this imaginary enemy. But Ahmadinejad wasn't Iranian "terrorist in chief" at the time.

A 19-year old girl, “Leyla M”, who has a mental age of eight, reportedly faces imminent execution

That is heartbreaking!

Where O where are those ever so self-righteous UN humanitarian kings? or that self-appointed world court?

A 19-year old girl, “Leyla M”, who has a mental age of eight, reportedly faces imminent execution...
