U.N. nuclear chief Mohamed ElBaradei on Friday called on the United States to provide Iran with nuclear reactors, and urged Tehran to declare a moratorium on enriching uranium for at least eight years.He said eight or nine years would enable the country to earn the confidence of the international community that it was really interested in nuclear energy - not nuclear weapons.
Yes indeed. No one can wait for more than nine years to do something he is determined to do. Why, that will solve everything.
Mohamed ElBaradel??? Who could have expected this? Anyone would think that he was a Muslim.
What is his reputation? I always had the impression that he was an Islamic moderate but I guess there aint no such creature when it all boils down to the blessed Koran, may it rest in peace truly.
On another point: why do Muslims always folow their prophet's name with "peace be upon him" and similar? Is it because they doubt the possibility? It sounds to me that this has much to say about the dark age warlord and how even his brainwashed followers saw him.
Also. here in Australia we have quite a lot of Uranium and we have already had one ot two hostile takeover attempts made upon that company with control of much of this
(?western mining.uncertain) and one of these was by a front company for the Switzerland based metal men group.
The attempts have failed but there is always the chance of another attempt and what happens if it is islamic money behind it as then it would be quite easy for stocks to "disappear" from warehouses etc.

This insanity is becoming tiring. Maybe it's time to quit the UN, notify it's delegates that their lease is up, and give them a few months to relocate, or just all go home.
It wouldn't isolate us, it would just make us more efficient. We would continue to deal with everyone as we see fit, we would save plenty of money, we could put some prime NYC real estate back on the tax rolls, bitchslap the gravy boat out of the hands of the "diplomatic" scoff-laws, and generally improve the city.
It would be the equivalent of choosing to drive the ring road to get across town as opposed to pushing a stalled car thru the alleys.

Niger (not Nigeria). In fact, there is nothing else that country produces. In the 80's, they had a Libyan backed regime, and much of Pakistan's early attempts at its Islamic Bomb (ZA Bhutto's name for it) was via Libya and Niger. I don't know where they get it from these days - Niger or N Korea.
