More cartoon madness from AP, with thanks to Sr. Soph:
TRIPOLI, Libya - Libyans angry over caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad rioted at the Italian consulate on Friday, storming the building and setting it on fire. A diplomat said at least 10 people were killed in clashes with police. It was the deadliest demonstration yet against the cartoons, which have set off violent protests throughout the Muslim world. At least 29 people have been killed altogether.
Mohammad, who loved death, must be pleased as punch.
Or zam-zam water.
"One is a lonely number..............."
At least CARTOONS don't kill people.
Islam has slaughtered hundeds of MILLIONS of innocent, screaming human beings over the past 14 centuries without remorse and WITH impunity. No outcry (or peep no less) from the Muslims on this. The west is the wrongdoer as always...
One has to wonder what the hell Islam has done to the development of the human brain when Muslims get far more excited about some crude cartoons than about the deaths of their friends, family, and neighbors. Muslims drone on endlessly about the losses of "innocent women and children" by the western countries' militaries in the war on terror, yet when these same "innocent women and children" are killed at the hands other Muslims ALL THE muslims SEEM TO CARE ABOUT IS A STUPID BUGS BUNNY SKETCH!!!!! Is this a legacy from the old Arab habit of smoking camel poop??????
Uh oh.
I would like to gather a peaceful, intellectual, smart, calm, but FIRM(the way we do things here in a progressive land, no childish taunting) counter demonstration in NYC to make a statement about this craziness ...and to reaffirm our clear commitment to freedom of the press and protest against the violence of the Islamists. Does anyone wish to join? I would leave my email, but I know Islamo-fascists read this site and I do not want to get spammed to death.

A free poster slogan for the potential protest:
TRUE FREE SPEECH IS NEVER FREE-
ITS PRICE IS CONSTANT BRAVERY!

If I was closer to NYC I'd be there.
(If I hit the Powerball tonight, I'll bankroll it.)
thanks, profitsbeard! maybe this thing can get off the ground. i now think it should happen on the same day in (many) mulitple cities, so don't rule out your town (or nearest big city).
