Cherry heering? Lingonberry jam never brought to a boil? Snakkerbrod? Odense marzipan? Lists would be helpful.
the "Muslim Public Affairs Commitee" in the Uk is helpfully providing me with a list of shopping items for this weekend:

I plegde my support. Just post a list of Danish products and I'm there to buy them!!!

you can just FEEL the ANGER! HATRED! AAARGGH!
over a few cartoons.
They are so clever!
Most items on their list are not Danish....
Here in Denmark we are considering posting the cartoons in our welfare offices. Imagine all the Money the Danish government would save....
This is awsome. I'm calling up my local newspaper and requesting that they publish these. The only problem is, Christian fanatuics in this country are gaging the media
Protestant Fundies get show about gays and straights living together pulled:

Catholic Fundie Org Opus Dei calls for Da Vinci code to get an adult rating:

I somehow doubt that otherwise our Dhimmi watch infidels would have known about these shananigans.
I’m finding no shortage of Danish products in my grocery stores. Just look at the label and you’ll find cheese, beer, etc. I buy some for the office.
If they extend their boycott to the other countries that have newspapers printing the cartoons, I’m going to gain a few pounds. ;)
Perhaps I’ll also start boycotting the companies that still sell food to Saudi Arabia. Let our "Saudi friends" grow their own.
I will definitely be buying a LOT more Danish products. It seems to me the US is a larger market than the Islamic market, especially the ham and pork ;-).
for amusement, read the comments at bottom of first link archduke provided above..half are by people saying thanks for the shopping list they will take to the store, buying Danish and informing the moslems they wiill also need to boycott french and german as well.
Glad to see the Dutch are "sprouting some onions" regarding their freedom of speech.
a comment from archdukes moslem link..

I will stop bying any products made in muslim countries. On forums in Scandinavia and the rest of the free world, thousands are doing the same. The boycott is now going both ways. Norway and Denmark must also stop sending severel millions of dollars to the palestines every year. We give them so much money, and this is what we get in return. The bucks stops here. It is the palestines who will suffer for this."

I've been following this article all day and it’s interesting how the comments from the Zionists only started flooding in after the mention of Boycotting Israel.
Typical, trying to dovetail your (Zionist) agenda. You can use your anglicised names, but your sneaky tactics expose you for who you are. For too long you’ve got away playing the guilt card on western nations.
BOYCOTT ISRAELI GOODS & SERVICES!
Hit em in the pocket and watch the fragile house of cards tumble!
It's the begining of the end...
The Arab Muslim world produces almost nothing of value to the West that requires human intervention. Perhaps the dates plucked from the palms in Tunisia, and then sold at Monoprix and Prisunic. That's about it. A few hammered trays in Morocco. As for the famous oriental rugs, those rugs are Turkish, Kurdish, Berber, Uzbek, Turkmen, Baluchi -- but never do they seem to be produced by the Arabs. Curious, no?
But they do sit on top of that oil and that gas. For now, we need it. But only for now. And the next time you are wondering if you should take a walk, or take a drive, ask yourself, as the government asked everyone during World War II:
Is This Trip Necessary?
Do your bit.
And as for visiting Arab Muslim countries as tourists, why support those who wish you ill, and why risk your life at the same time? Stay home, or visit Europe, while it is still Europe, and declare your solidarity with the indigenous Infidels. Or Canada, or Mexico, or all of Latin America.
Hugh - in light of the cartoon debacle, and in light of what President Bush said about "oil addiction", it is high time that the American mid-west Conservatives had a campaign that equated buying gas with terrorism
buy gas = more terrorism
its simple. ok , it means less SUVs, but what the hell - turn it into a patriotic duty to actually buy less gas (petrol).
its there for the taking. i think it could work.
what i'm trying to say is that for too long the "use less gas" thing is equated with the far left and the greens, when its actually a matter of American national security. hence, you could get the heartland of Bush territory in the U.S. to get onboard with this.
the "oil addiction" quote could well be the start of a major change in conservative American attitudes - and it'll hit Islam where it hurts. big time.
It is not necessary that you leave the house. Remain at your table and listen. Do not even listen, only wait. Do not even wait, be wholly still and alone. The world will present itself to you for its unmasking, it can do no other, in ecstasy it will writhe at your feet.

Priceless!
It would be great if mohammadans just boycott
the West. Pick up their things and leave!

Maybe you can enlighten us as to what a "free, civil society" is. One governed by sharia, perhaps?
Read this one. very good and complete

Hammerhead, I too wish I could stop buying products od Muslim countries, but my cars are hooked on oil and gas. As a nation we need to break our dependence on foreign oil and start producing alcohol for use in gas from farm crops and make our own biodiesel. If we can cut our foreign oil imports 50% that will hit the petroterrorists where they live. Then they will not have the funds to build mosques in foreign countries and spread their Wahabbi cult of death and slavery.
I believe we have to stick together..
Yes it will be tough...
Yes it may not be possible to completly stop using middle east oil...
But as Americans we MUST TRY...
I put a suggestion list on my site ..
http://jimgoism.blogspot.com
But basically we must now
Support those free countries that havent been conquered by islam.
Support those who stand up and fight against the Islamo Faschists..
And we MUST do everything in our POWER to
STOP using ISLAMIC TERRORIST OIL...
As we all know the muslims will use OIL against US. We must prepare individually NOW...
You dont need an SUV
You dont need a Gas guzzling Hummer
You dont need a Gas guzzling truck..
Just to drive to work..
We must start buying cars that get at least 40 mpg in the city... and 60 highway..
If we ALL STOP buying these Country Busting CARS
DEtroit will have to listen or go our of business..
WE MUST do this NOW...
Or we wont have a country left to drive in...
If you want, you can go to the link below and sign petition supporting Denmark. This is a good site.

I was truly amazed to see that Pres. Bush actually acknowledged that the US needs to start conserving energy and finding different sources. After all, we are talking about a guy who's family business is saudi-financed oil drilling.
Now, if only he would being as big a religious fanatic as the muslim radicals, I might end up liking the guy! But he really needs to stop acting like he is on a mission from god. The Blues Brothers are the only people who can rightfully claim that!
"But he really needs to stop acting like he is

politics man. politics.
thats just playing to his grassroots. keeping the christian evangelicals onside.
but having said that, if he uses his faith to keep himself steady - if it gives him a sense of purpose in life, then all the better.
in fact , his straight talking is probably because of his faith. "you bet, we'll defend israel" for example.
but i dont get a sense that Dubya is a raving Christian fundie, so i'm not bothered by it.
There is a store near us....Rammakers Dutch Imports, I have never shopped there, thanks to the ridiculous boycott, I will gain a new shopping experience!

Here's a cute cartoon (how apropos!) by Chris Muir of the popular Day by Day which you can easily email to your friends to get the "Buy Danish" message across. You just click on the cartoon itself, fill in the info and it arrives in email very cleanly - just the cartoon itself (I sent it to myself to test it).
(Pork eaters may not appreciate it but the cartoon is fine by me because I don't eat pork products anyway - not for religious reasons or any notion that pigs are "unclean" - but rather because pigs are rumoured to be at least as intelligent as dogs)...

This is an example of how people are encouraged to boycott Danish products:
http://www.dailystar.com.lb/article.asp?edition_id=1&categ_id=1&article_id=21839
odin,
Interesting.
Ironically (for westerners), the Daily Star in Lebanon has a banner on their webpage, just above that boycott Denmark article, which states, "support free press in Lebanon" (The banner may not be a permanent feature). From the article, they do not seem to support a free press in Denmark.
It is probably not that they (staff of Daily Star)and their readers don't understand irony at all. My guess is that they would see some things as irony, but not likely this particular juxtaposition. This is about islam, which is considered to be what defines truth and righteousness. My guess is that both the boycott of Denmark, and the "support free press in Lebanon" are considered "good" causes by that crowd: somewhat westernised muslims (The Daily Star is an english language publication), or islamochristian dhimmis, such as Lahoud.
Perhaps this irony, or lack, would provide instruction to those who naively believe that bringing freedom and democracy to the Arab and muslim world will solve the conflicts between the dar-al-islam and the dar-al-harb. It won't. Their concepts of freedom, democracy, and irony, are not consistent with our same-named concepts. Their concepts are filtered through islam.
"Buy Danish"
This morning I bought and ate a danish.
Come visit the Danish support site www.buydanish.dk - Thanks!
