"It seems to me that the freedom of the press the world over is being limited as Muslims are being given special treatment," he argued.
Yes, indeed.
It makes me sick. Muslims the world over are given special treatment. We are a Christian nation, if we start blowing up Muslims, will we be given special treatment, no more blaspheming of our prophet, Jesus? Of course not, because Jesus is the real deal. He doesn't need his followers to work for Him, He really is God. He's almighty, He doesn't need us to carry out His mission. If allah is so great, why does he need his followers to accomplish his mission? Because he is a false god, he has no power. Let allah, and allah alone, conquer the world.

It's a shame that all the western countries tolerate all this nonsense from Muslims. Why don't we kick them out. If it is so bad why do they keep on creeping into the west. Its time we gave them marching orders, if they don't like it here ( we are not holding them back), they could all leave and let us get on with living. We are getting a bit tired of all this appeasing and bending backwards to please these savages.
All other ethnic and religious groups have adjusted to our secular/Christian ways and have assimilated well, except the Muslims, they want to take over and impose their hateful evil ideology on all of us.
We are slowly moving towards the creation of the Chalifat state and the worst part about it is the western attitude: "Oh a Chalifat state you say? - sounds like a great idea my muslim friend!" Where's the resistence? Why have we lost our ability to fight back?
About Jyllands-posten editorial line: they are under heavy fire from the biggest left-wing paper Politiken - but the largest tabloid Ekstra Bladet and a significant intellectual newspaper Weekendavisen are both fighting for freedom of speech... But its truly a 'clash of newspapers' in my small country..
Muslims get a special treatment already for a longer period, not just at the freedom of speech which is in danger now.
In Holland an imam (El Moumni) said something like all gay people should be thrown off high buildings.
When some gay people went to court over those words the Dutch judge told the imam he was free to say so as it was written in HIS holy book.
If someone without a religion says the same words he will be punished for speaking thus as he has no holy book in which cruelties are written.
Almost all the cow meat in Holland is halal. It is been said if it is good for muslim people, it is good for all people.
So the cattle is killed with the heads towards Mekka, been cut the throat while a muslim pray has been said etc etc ……
All the veal meat is halal and all the Dutch cheese is halal too.
It was in a tv broadcast in Holland when owners of the companies regarding cheese and meat explained that.

Would it be possible to omit/edit out the "peace/blessings" stuff after a sentence/statement by an Islamic??
I suppose I could try to maintain a defensive lookout for that line and stop short of letting it enter my head, but sometimes it kinda sneaks through and sure enough, I'm "praising" the "prophet" against my will. And while I know that since there is no emotional connection within myself that actually "feels" any affection towards the "prophet", that they are "just words" spoken by somebody else, I really, really do not want to even have that string of words enter my mind under any circumstances.
But it's probably my problem, I'll have to deal with it. At least when it is abbreviated I can substitute my own words, like p-ss.
Maybe I'm too fricken pyschology/analytical/logic oriented. But that's where the answers are hidden.

Is it all homicidal paedophiles who are to be given special status? If not, it seems very unfair on other paedophiles and murderers. I think they should complain at this discrimination.
It is only freedom of the press if you in the press are willing to defend it from threats, and intimidation.
Hundreds of thousands of young men have died defending your rights in two major world wars against the facist Nazi regime, and the imperialist Japanese for your right to exercise the first Amendment of US Constitution which was ratified December 15th, 1791. --Nothing has changed in nearly 215 years accept your willingness to defend your right to freedom of the press.
But if you are not willing to defend those rights, then you are a coward, and a fraud.
Thank you, Mark Alexander, for posting those quotes by Churchill. The hair rose on my arms as I read them, partly because I believe we will be faced with having to physically defend our western culture. The intellectual defense of it doesn't seem to be going so well.
The older I get, the more I admire Churchill. And do wonder, will we have a Churchill when we need him?

Churchill was truly a GREAT MAN. When I read these quotations, and others from him, they bring tears to my eyes, for I know how much people sacrificed during World War II for the freedoms we enjoy today.
It is doubly upsetting that we are being shown no comparable leadership.
A Churchill must come forward, either in the States or in Europe, if the West is to be saved from the fate of darkness - the darkness that is Islam!
We need someone with the strength, determination and resolve to lead the West to victory. A man, a real man, with clarity of vision.

I am happy that so many in the West are opening their eyes and seeing this Evil called Islam trying to devour the West. The back lash is just beginning. Either the Muslims will learn to live in the West like all the other immigrants or will have to depart to their hell holes that they came from, either voluntarily or will be forced to do so. They do not seem to understand this, because they have a few left leaning individuals in their pockets & human rights activities, but not the silent majority living in Europe who are just now waking up to this menace of the 7th century demonology called Islam.

The way things are going now, the day can't be far away when we will start thinking "Knowing what we know now, we might as well have let Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan win World War II, for what good victory did us". Living under Islamism will be infinitely worse than living under the Gestapo or the Kempetai, and it pains me to even mention something like this when my grandad, his younger brother, and several of my uncles served in World War II, and of those who served in my family, only one is still alive today, at 85 years old, and I'm proud that all of them served their country. But theirs, and millions of their colleagues sacrifices are being undermined today by their PC descendants in the Press, media and the public at large. Anyone who criticises Islam is branded as a fascist, and I doubt if two dozen 911's will change that viewpoint.

The collision of cultures has begun. we cannot wait for another Winston Churchill, we need to become more like him, and vote in politicians who will stop being pathetic and PC. we need to speak out and not flinch at the garbage that muslims seem to surround themselve. stand up to these evil cowards. it starts
when you talk to your family and friends. just the other day l showed some copies of the cartoons to some very unpolitical friends, and they could not beleive how tame the cartoons where! so just need to be patient and educate people.. its starts with a wisper and will end with victory of freedom!
