Why You Should Read Jihad Watch, Reason #672: The mainstream media picks up on a story we reported here on January 15.
From Newsday, :
The Danish editor who published the drawings of the prophet Muhammad that have sparked worldwide protests said the furor was deliberately stoked by a group of Danish imams who toured the Middle East with a portfolio that included images never printed in his paper, among them, drawings of the prophet having sex with animals.Flemming Rose, cultural editor of the Danish paper, Jyllands-Posten, said a group of men he called "radical imams" traveled to the Middle East several months after his newspaper's Sept. 30 commentary on self-censorship, which was accompanied by cartoons of Muhammad, "to stir up the crowds by telling lies."
He said the group carried a 45-page portfolio that contained not just the 12 cartoons published in his paper but several more incendiary drawings whose origin was unclear. They included depictions of the prophet with the face of a pig, and having sex with animals and children.
"All of that gratuitous rubbish was trumped around to trigger a campaign of senseless hatred," Rose said.
"several more incendiary drawings whose origin was unclear."

No, it isn't. The Danish Muslims themselves, who compiled their little portfolio and set out on their tour to whip up anti-Danish fury, now claim that those other cartoons were sent to them by non-Muslim Danes. There is not the slightest evidence for this.
The same tactic is being used by the 'moderate' organisers of this Saturday's rally in London. No doubt to stoke up the anger quotients they've sent out an email to the faithful describing the cartoons as depicting the Prophet "in a variety of unspeakable positions". As even an incensed Muslim couldn't regard those whimsical Danish cartoons this way, they must be talking about the bogus ones. Incidentally did you know that one of these "unspeakable" depictions turned out to be one Jacques Barrot, a pig-squealing contestant at the French Pig-Squealing championships in Trie-sur Baise's annual festival! Take a look at Harry's Place (http:/hurryupharry.bloghouse.net) for the hilarious picture.
This is actually old news, with the only difference being that now the origin of the pig picture is known. But its been known for a long time that the worst pictures were not from Jyllandsposten.
At least its been known to those of us that live in countries where we still have somewhat independant and free media. I doubt any newspapers in the mid-east have reported this. After all, doing so might ruin all this anger they have spent so much effort creating.

(From a poster somewhere around here)
No matter where those three 'special' images came from, or who created them, Muslim clerics intentionally misrepresented them. First in the ME, and then to the rest of the world.
I'm not going to toot my own horn excessively, but I, an average Bob, knew more about this than most American journalists and politicians. And much of that knowledge came from articles and postings right here at JW/DW.
I still don't believe that Jyllands-Posten needed to publish all of the twelve drawings to make their point, but I did know what the situation was.
Which is more than the aforementioned journalists and politicians can say.
It's been an interesting four months.
Have the Danes taken any steps against these "imams?" Were they allowed back into Denmark? Can they get away with it without any retribution?
How about charging these Imams in Denmark for sedition or treachery? There must be some law in Denmark against inciting hatred & going against the State?
All the fools who have died so far (thank God they are Muslims), is the indirect result of what these moronic Danish imams did. They must be held liable for killing their own faithful followers in Lebanon, Afghanistan etc.
FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEE THE ORIGINAL AND FALSE PIG CARTOON THEY CAN BE SEEN HERE

COMPARE THEM
WHO CAN TRUST MOSLEMS NOW
" They included depictions of the prophet with the face of a pig, and having sex with animals and children."
Maybe he had a pig face? I dunno about the animals, but we know the part about the children is true.
What's the big problem Muslims have with pigs?
They're amazingly intelligent creatures. They know where to find the best truffles. They can be taught more skills than more of the people in Gaza. They never burn down embassies. They have nifty tails.
Plus a BLT and a bottle of Tuborg is unbeatable.
I'm sick of this Muslim Porkophobia!
(Most Jews have enough sense of humor to just call it 'pink chicken', chew, and pass over the hysteria.)
And didn't the Muslim prophet Issa (Jesus) say:
"It is not what goes into a person's mouth, but what comes out of it that makes them unclean?"
Or do they only follow their prophets when there's a profit in it?
About the fake pictures, the Danish imams said they had been received "anonymously".
However, they refused requests by the Danish media to show the anonymous letters.
Furthermore, all three fake pictures had Danish subtitles typed on them from obviously the same typewriter, all in uppercase, and all three spelled "MUHAMMED" (the usual Danish spelling would be "MOHAMMED").
Ah well, maybe all a coincidence.
What really confuses me is this: If this picture of Jaques Barrot at a pig squealing contest is OK (although a pig squealing contest is certainly pretty haram), then how come the SAME picture, after sent through a copy machine, is a griveous insult?
Life under the new, improved press freedom laws in Europe will be difficult...
That "cartoon" of a man, claimed to be Mohammed, wearing a pig mask actually came from the French hog calling contest:
