MANILA, Feb. 7_(Kyodo) _ Filipino Muslims enraged by caricatures of Islam's Prophet Muhammad burned a Danish flag in a rally in the southern Philippines on Tuesday.Hundreds of demonstrators in Kidapawan in Cotabato Province, about 900 kilometers southeast of Manila, said the cartoons were an insult to Islam and condemned racial slurs equating Muslims to terrorists which they say fuel anti-Muslim views....
"Muhammad is man of peace," said Eid Kabalu, spokesman of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, a Muslim separatist group that is negotiating peace with the Philippine government. "It is not right to desecrate his image."
All right, Eid. Would you not then think, since you believe that Muhammad is a man of peace (although that flies in the face of the record of the Qur'an, Hadith, and Sira), that violence committed in response to the cartoons also desecrates his image?
What is interesting is how slowly news travels across the muslim world. There is a new story of offence every other day. Eventually even the remote villagers will get to know of this dispicable act and of Denmark.
What I am waiting for is when they get their act together and "protest" globally at the same time on the same day (give or take a coupla hours).
We may see something like this on this friday after friday prayers....whose bright idea was it to have Friday as a working day anyway?
The expression "cartoon rage" has a double entendre: in one sense it means rage over the Danish cartoons, but in another it describes the cartoonish nature of Muslim rage.
Don't all those overgrown toddlers realize what a spectacle they are making of themselves? I have to confess that a lot of what keeps me tuned into the news these days is the "Muslim Show", brought to you by jihadwatch.com. Beats the hell out of roller derby for entertainment value.
I guess the guy, Eid Kabalu, can't read either.
Remember that poor woman who was gang raped in Pakistan and later was allowed to come to the West. She started off by saying that she was illiterate and then went on to tell us about her occupation -- Teacher of Islam!
This 'religion' certainly does very well in dark places of the world.
Today's National Post ran a short article about a vendor (Plestinian perhaps - I forget) who, after hearing of several protests against Denmark, went out and bought all of the Danish flags he could find. The purpose of course was to sell them to the slopeydope protestors to burn. He did say that he had no personal grudge against Denmark - it was just good business.
You'd think they'd at least try to turn this into a fondu party with danish cheeses and french bread... But those Muslims aren't too inventive... Just flags. Flags and buildings. Flags and buildings and infidels. No cheese. No bread.
Mmmm.... fondu.

The protests and riots in reaction to cartoons only serve to perpetuate my hate
and disdain for towel-heads. ‘Too extreme’? I think not, I believe the boisterous
silence that emanates from the Muslims living in the U.S. is proof of their under-
lying support for their Christian hating comrades. The camel humpers have
proven their worthlessness as a society that plagues this planet with their
venom and abomination.
Now, in honor of all Muslims....give me a beer and pass those pork rinds over here!
Now get this , a Danish newspaper prints these insulting cartoons so Muslims all around the world go about protesting the entire nation of Denmark and even other western nations as well. All because of the actions of this one newspaper.
Talk about RACISM! All infidels are to be condemed for the actions of this one newspaper? Muslims around the world have shown just what a bunch of ruthless, hate filled bigots they are!
