Iran’s Hezbollah calls on Iraqis to expel U.S., British troops

More saber-rattling from Iran. From Iran Focus, with thanks to Mackie:

Tehran, Iran, Feb. 23 – A fanatical group close to Iran’s hard-line rulers called Thursday on the Iraqi people to expel United States and British troops in Iraq following the attack on a holy Shiite Shrine in the Iraqi city of Samarra.

Iran’s Hezbollah issued a statement, announcing, “Undoubtedly this bitter incident reaffirms the continuation of the bad situation in Iraq under occupation. Insecurity in this country is in the end the consequence of the occupation of this country by occupational governments, in particular the world’s two bully governments – America and Britain”.

The group called on the Iraqi government to “create the groundwork as soon as possible for the departure of U.S. and British occupiers”.

Just the US and the Brits eh? I guess it's cool with the rabid holy rollers in Iran if the rest of the allied troops stay?

I would like nothing better than for all the allied troops to pull out of Iraq. Iraq simply isn't civilized enough to have a free society. Anarchy seems to be more their style.

I was under the impression that Israel was the second bully government, now Britain has earned that designation? *scratches head*

If I didnt know better, I would think the islamofascists are tailoring their accusations to the situation on the ground.

It looks like Christians in Nigeria have finally had it. The UN will finally notice now and step in.

Makes you feel good don't it!!

From the fire at the Reichstag official government report, and using typical Islamic reasoning, who benefits most from the bombing at the Askariya shrine?

If Iran wants civil war in Iraq to cause the U.S. and British problems, then it is time we reciprocate.

It is time to stir the strife in Iran.

Like we don't want our troops home. We'd be glad to leave. Expel nothing. Just let the troops know when they can leave and it's done. But then, we would be irresponsible in action and in deed. Devoid of honor and a laughing stock in the Muslim world. The press in Islamofecesland would have a field day with it. Making claims of a "victory for Allah and Islam, or the infidel invadrs have been defeated and Islam is supreme. Or worst, America is coward!!!
And besides, the Iraqis know if the coalition forces leave, then they'll be at the tender loving mercies of Allah and his Islamofeces that want nothing good for the Iraqi people but an Islamic ditatorship.
But maybe if Iran left the planet?
Now there's a thought.

On Nigeria article:

Umeh said most of the bodies his group counted were Hausa, but some Ibo were killed too. The Hausa are the main ethnic group in northern Nigeria and most are Muslim, while the Ibo are dominant in the southeast and almost all are Christian.

What a crock. I have a friend who was a missionary in that area and most are not Christian...they simply are not Muslim...traditional animist religions.

Please, let's not overstay our welcome. Not when it is costing us $8 billion a month, and the lives of soldiers. Not when it is desert-degrading equipment. Not when it is using up attention that should be focussed on mass pedagogy all over the Western world, on supporting -- precisely as anti-Communist forces of every kind were supported in Western Europe but only after a few years went by, and the assorted Soviet-supported coups, aided by the Red Army in approving attendance, all over Eastern and Central Europe, had already taken place.

There are now millions of Muslims within Dar al-Harb - that is, behind what they (we Infidles weren't paying too much attention as, over the past 30-40 years, this demographic invasion, followed by the vast financial resources that the oil revenues provided to Arab and Muslim states and individuals intent on spreading Islam all over the Lands of the Infidels), for we Infidels knew only a few things about Islam. We knew, for we had been taught as an official article of political faith during the Cold War, that Islam was a "bulwark against Communism. And that was good. And we knew, and know still, that Islam is a "major world religion" and since "all religions are good" and since no religion could be a "major world religion" unless there something pretty impressive about it (admission: in April 2005 I had a private two-hour meeting with a very high government official, one who complacently assured me, after my long exposition about Islam, that "surely if a billion people believe in something, then there must be something pretty impressive about it" -- showing that he had missed all kinds of points, and filling me with temporary horror).

Sunnis want to kill us. Shi'a want us to kill Sunnis, and also -- sooner or later -- will want to kill us. Can't we take a hint?

Is there no one who thinks that getting out of the way, so that the Shi'a can have a free hand with the Sunnis (who have been persecuting them for 1300 years, whenever they can get away with it, right up to the present), and vice-versa? And while both sets of Arabs go at it, possibly aid and abet the formation of the non-Arab independent state of Kurdistan -- it won't take much?

Is there something wrong with this? Are we to assume in perpetuity keeping Iraq safe for Islam? Keeping Islam safe for Islam?

What's Wrong With This Picture of Democracy on the March, Iraq the Model, Iraq the Light Unto the Muslim Nations?

Everything.

If Hezbollah is so big and bloody bad, why don't they come in and try to expel American and British troops?

No guts, just mouthes.

IF GERMANS USE THEIR LAWS IN THIS WAY THEN THERE IS HOPE!
I THINK THEY SHOULD KEEP A LID ON IT UNTIL THERE IS A STATE VISIT BY HIM.
Iran leader faces Holocaust case

Germany has condemned Mr Ahmadinejad's remarks
An Israeli lawyer, Ervin Shahar, says he has asked Germany to charge Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with denying the Holocaust.
Mr Ahmadinejad was widely criticised when he said last year that the Holocaust was a "myth" and that Israel should be "wiped off the map".

Germany passed a law in 1993 forbidding Holocaust denial. It is punishable by up to five years in prison.

Six million Jews were killed by the Nazis during World War II.

Mr Shahar said he wanted the German federal prosecutors' office to take the issue before the constitutional court in the hope that international arrest warrants would be issued against Mr Ahmadinejad.

Correspondents say prosecutors will have to consider whether Germany has jurisdiction and whether President Ahmadinejad enjoys immunity.

International case

"I'm awaiting a response about whether they will file charges but I don't know how long it will take," Mr Shahar told the Reuters news agency.

The crime as described is directly linked to Germany, committed among others against German nationals of Jewish descent

Ervin Shahar

"It doesn't take days but several months."

On Monday, British historian David Irving was found guilty in Austria of denying the Holocaust and sentenced to three years in prison.

He had pleaded guilty to the charge, based on a speech and interview he gave in Austria in 1989.

Although Mr Ahmadinejad did not deny the Holocaust on German soil, another law passed in 2005 permits the filing of international cases in German courts.

Mr Shahar hopes the case might result in international warrants for Mr Ahmadinejad's arrest, thus preventing the president from entering the US or Europe.

The lawyer believes Germany is the best country in which to file the suit, because it is the "most influential European state" and because the country is directly linked to the case.

The prosecutors' office in Karlsruhe has not yet commented.

Remove the troops from Iraq and put them in Iran.

An easily impressed very high government official. Must have been counting ballots in his mind while you were talking. There are over a billion Chinese people. Over a billion Christians. Over a billion people of Indian ancestry. A billion people living in poverty around the world. A billion insects around the world. It's a big number. A powerful enemy. Very cavalier to think it's great just because it's big.
If he took a poll and it said five out of six people don't believe in islam maybe he could grasp it better. Or one in six will vote for him in the next election. Maybe that could give perspective.
Rapid breeding isn't righteous.

Yes, the UN is probably on the way to Nigeria. To stop the Christian "atrocities."

Just as in Kosovo.

While the muslims hide behind the UN skirts and throw bombs.

Interesting how the muslims in Nigeria are not in the streets chanting and burning flags....

Faced with cold steel and determination - they are on a dead run.

Very, very instructive for the rest of the world.

Yet another ulterior motive to place Ahmenijad's fingerprints all over the destruction of the shrine in Samara -- get those pesky Coalition troops out of there while he gets his nuclear bomb ready to bring on the appearance of the Mahdi on holy Iranian soil.

I can't believe I'm thinking this way, but this is the Islamic Republic of Iran we're talking about.

Re: Iran’s Hezbollah calls on Iraqis to expel U.S., British troops

Mr. Fitz wants them to go too. Hugh is right about a lot of things, but not this one. However, the mistaken opinions of good minds are often more valuable than those of petty minds.

Iran’s regime must feel the squeeze, and will
even burn down a Reichstag, blame it on the Americans and Isreal, to gain their ends. But this Reichstag fire will end up burning the regime in Iran.

Hugh,

The idea that "a billion people can't all be wrong" permeates the thinking of so many who don't want/can't to face the truth. I don't know how many people have said the same thing, even after pointing out the facts of Islam: 109 prescriptive "kill the infidel" verses in the Koran (more in the Hadiths), true bio of mohammed and facts like Aisha, the historic/logical ridiculous claims of the Koran (Jesus wasn't crucified, Temple never existed, Mary was sister to Moses, etc. etc. The true history of Jihad for over 1000 years after mohammed.

The reason there are a billion followers is easy to see: If you are born into it, you cannot leave on pain of death. If you are bamboozled into it (by believing the few peaceful verses are the "real" Islam), you cannot leave on pain of death. If you are coerced into joining Islam by dhimmitude treatment or threats, you cannot leave on pain of death.

Within the Islamic World, prosyletizing Muslims is prohibited (up to pain of death). Open practice of non-Muslim religion is likewise prohibited. Dhimmitude, etc. Bottom line is that most Muslims have absolutely no exposure to anything else. They are told that even considering another way is damnation.

An additionally issue is Western Liberalism. One of the mantras of Liberalism is the idea that anything non-Western and non-Christian is pure and untainted by the evil West or Christianity. That if the Western World and Christianity would not have spread, the rest of the world would be in utopia. This has helped conceil the facts of Muslim slavery, Muslim persecution of non-Muslims, genocide of Armenians, genocide of Indians, etc. etc.

Frankly, with the demographics in the Islamic World, there should be far more than 1.2 Billion Muslims. Any other ideology that was as coercive, threatening, and protective would have grown much more quickly. The only reason Islam hasn't conquered more than half the world: It is just too ridiculous for most thinking people to buy into.

As far as numbers, it's important to remember that Billions believed communism would ultimately triumph. That communism was the natural and scientific end of mankind. Frankly, communist ideology was ridiculous from the start. However, once it began to fall apart, it was gone within a few years. People finally had to admit they were hoodwinked.

Here's the reason for some optimism: People are finally willing to question the Liberal mantra of the "noble (non-Western) savage" when it comes to Islam. As people become willing to question the logical and historic absurd claims of Islam, Muslims will start to wake up and smell the coffee of reality. As information about Islam becomes more widespread, Islam won't stand a chance of growing beyond it's base. As more Westerners become bold about prosyletizing Muslims, the house of cards will eventually fall.

That is why I keep saying our best weapon in this battle is truth. We need to do all we can to educate everyone: Muslim and non-Muslim. We are fighting an ideology and not necessarily the individuals brainwashed into the ideology. We must make every effort to flood our friends, family, and contacts with the truth about Islam. Once that deck of cards falls, it will fall hard and fast.

Frank

Just one question: When do we leave Iraq? Having troops next to Iran has not stopped them from starting the enrichment process. Also if there is full out civil war in a couple of month what to do we. Start shooting people on both sides? Frank I was in your corner on Iraq issue up to three months ago. But now, I just don't see how these people with no democratic ideas will every form a peaceful and democratic nation. I have lost the faith on this issue. I don't even think two people like us could have this open forum in a Islamic country.

you need patience...Iran is the country sending over most of aid for terrorist. state sponsored terrorism the world knows it comes from Iran. there needs to be several well placed big ones placed on their nuclear sites.

Mr. Earp-I think a withdrawal at this time would be a major geopolitical defeat for the U.S.-and the bastards in Tehran know that. Iran is being geopolitically penned in and they know that too.

I think they are desperate. I think that if the people who bombed the Mosque are found (my guess is they are dead), they will be agents of Iran. All this cartoon crap and this latter day burning Reichstag are intended to get the U.S. to leave.

What's happening now is similar to the 1968 Tet offensive in Vietnam. I don't think it will work, but I do think more (and uglier) attacks are on the way. Likely the gruesome nature of what is on their schedule will speed up the end for that regime.

I share your anguish over the loss of American lives. I would not want to be Bush-it must tear him apart.

The Church of England vigorously denounces Israel and votes to divest Israeli-related investments.
Now comes a vicious Moslem assault on the Christian community in Nigeria- we will now see if the Church becomes exercised over that real, unprovoked abuse - will they condemn the Moslems? Will they organize a divestment campaign?

Don't bet on it.

(One wonders if in their stand on Israel- gasp!- they are motivated not by some mistaken notion of deserved compassion for the Palestinian assassins but rather from good, old fashioned anti-Semitism.)

We certainly are aware of what Islam is trying to do to the Jews - but Christians are also suffering at their hands...I would expect some kind of unified, mass Christian protest to follow the latest depredations...We dont burn mosques - but dammit - the jihadis should know all of the west takes burning churches very seriously...

The idea that "a billion people can't all be wrong" permeates the thinking of so many who don't want/can't to face the truth.

Along those lines: I have not read a single commentary piece authored by a Muslim or Muslim apologist that does NOT mention "over a billion Muslims on this planet"

It seems to be not so subliminal intimidation.
"Aren't you frightened of our impressive throng of Sheeple, ready to die in response to the slightest insult, either real or percieved?"

In fact I'm not impressed or intimidated. If they are truly not afraid to die, we should not try to stop them from doing so.

wasn't it Patton who said, "No blankety-blank soldier ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it, by making the other poor blankety-blank die for HIS country."

U.N. Agency: North Korea Requesting Food
NewsMax.com Wires
Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006
ROME -- North Korea will formally ask the U.N. World Food Program for aid for children and pregnant women, several months after the communist nation demanded a halt to emergency food help, an agency spokeswoman said Wednesday.
The request will be made at a Thursday meeting at the agency's Rome headquarters, spokeswoman Anthea Webb said.
Last year, North Korea demanded that international aid groups stop sending emergency humanitarian assistance such as food by the end of 2005, and Webb said the U.N. agency complied with that request.
NorthKorea asked that the emergency aid be converted to long-term development assistance. Webb said North Korea will treat the food to be requested Thursday as development aid.

Hezbollah is the Party of God, which means they stand for Islam and all that it represents.

The coalition troops in Iraq are standing for freedom, democracy, pluralism, tolerance, and justice.

The syllogism, then, is that Islam stands against freedom, democracy, pluralism, tolerance, and justice. This very thing has been stated by many Moslem leaders. Mostly scowling, angry, intense fellows with hairy faces and funny hats. But at least they're telling the truth.

But our leaders --- smiling, clean shaven, jaunty chaps --- keep telling me that there is this field filled with several hundred million Unicorns that are clamoring for freedom, democracy, pluralism, tolerance, and justice.

What gives?

Analysis / An Iraqi intifada
By Zvi Bar'el
The last four days of clashes in Iraq, which have left dozens of locals and Americans dead, are not another chapter in the series of random attacks that have characterized the day-to-day security situation
They appear to be the first signs, and maybe more so, of an uprising that has already earned the title of intifada.

A large group of Shi'ites, defined as loyalists to a young political leader by the name of Muqtada al-Sader, has initiated an organized struggle against the coalition forces under the banner of a local Iraqi liberation movement, rather than a pan-Islamic one, such as that of the radical groups.

Al-Sader's loyalists are still a minority that has yet to rein in the support of Iraq's Shi'ite majority; but this is what they are striving for.

Reports that the United States is weighing the option of sending more forces to Iraq in the wake of the dangerous developments testifies to the fact that we are dealing with a multifaceted threat that could, if the uprising continues, drag Iraq into a civil war.

Muqtada al-Sader is gifted with a sweeping rhetoric and the same public support enjoyed by his father, Mohammed Sadiq al-Sader, an important Shi'ite religious leader killed by Saddam Hussein in 1999. After the war in Iraq, the young al-Sader managed to take control of Baghdad's large Shi'ite quarter, setting up a number of militia groups estimated to number some 10,000 fighters. He has also established power centers in Basra and Nasariye, as well as the Shi'ite towns in the south of the country.

Al-Sader's strength led him to arrive at unspoken "agreements" with the U.S. military. Under these "agreements," the U.S. army remained outside of areas under al-Sader's control. But these "agreements" collapsed recently when the Americans realized al-Sader was using the relative quiet to entrench his strength and, apparently and primarily, to set up "an Iranian extension" in Iraq.

IN KARBALA CLASHES, A BATTLE OVER MONEY AND POWER
by Iraq Today Staff - 20-Oct-2003
KARBALA - For months, Karbala has counted itself free of the internecine squabbles that consumed Najaf, Iraq's other holy city. But in just a few days last week, Karbala became the front line of some of the heaviest fighting between the forces of Muqtada Sader and Ayatollah Ali Sistani. The fighting unfurled a battle over money, power and prestige. By Saturday morning, 12 people lay dead after successive clashes during the week, with as many as nine killed on Friday morning. Karbala has long been a stronghold of Ayatollah Ali Sistani, but in recent months, Sader's men made an aggressive push into the city, opening offices and proselytizing in the city. Tensions have been growing between the two leaders in recent months, centered in part on Sistani's unwillingness to take control of government money and property, insisting instead to leave such decisions to a future Iraqi government. Al Sader's view is to take control of government funds and distribute them to the needy, on the idea that no government will be elected for years to come.

Two months ago, Shia leaders in Karbala agreed not to agree, accepting to run the Shrines of Al Hussein and Al Abass equally between them. But al-Sader's aggressive push into the city has left many reeling.
"Al Sader's people tried to control the Shrine of Al Mahdi," said Abdulmahdi al Karbalai, a Sistani aide. "They entered but the people of Karbala faced them and kicked them out. Now they are afraid to control the two Shrines of Al Hussein and Al Abass."

SO HE THINKS THE OLD MAN IS WEEK??

http://www.arabicnews.com/ansub/Daily/Day/050926/2005092609.html
The Iraqi police has announced that one suicide bomber targeted in a booby trapped car a police vehicle on the highway to the east of the capital. It said that ten soldiers of its forces were also injured in the attack.

The explosion came after a night of clashes between the American forces and al-Mahdi army associated with the Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sader, east of Baghdad. Eight followers for al-Sader were killed in the explosion and other five were injured.

Washington Post: Iraqi Shiite leader will not sit idle if Iran is attacked
Iran-Regional, Politics, 1/25/2006
The Washington Post report said yesterday that Iraqi major Shiite leader Muqtada al-Sader had promised to help Iran if it is attacked. The report spoke about the strong militia al-Sadr leads in Iraq, and his opposition to the US presence in Iraq.

The Washington Post report quoted Joseph Cirincione, an Iraq and nuclear weapons expert with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington saying "If there was an attack on Iran, even a limited military strike, this would provoke anger through the entire Muslim world. It would certainly jeopardize the already fragile position of the United States in Iraq."

The Washington Post report said that the pledge by al-Sadr "was also one of the strongest signs yet that Iraq could become a battleground in any Western conflict with Iran, raising the specter of Iraqi Shiite militias -- or perhaps even the US-trained Shiite-dominated military -- taking on American troops here in sympathy with Iran."

the latest figures show that Muslims make up about 20% of the world's population and Christians account for approximately 33%. So you see the Christian population is more than 50% larger than the Muslim population. Whenever I am in a forum debate with a Muslim and that magical "over one billion" McDonald's number appears, I just through the much larger number right back: "So what if a stupid cartoon insulted over one billion Muslims, your Koran by denying the divinity of Jesus insults over two billion Christians, wanna fight?"

-- from a posting above

Take every single member of the O.I.C. Add up the populations of those 57 countries. Deduct for the known populations of non-Muslims -- such as the Copts in Egypt, Hindus and Christians and some Buddhists in Bangladesh and Indonesia, Hindus and non-Muslim Chinese in Malaysia, and so on. Now add the number of Muslims known to life in Infidel lands. What do you get?

Do you somehow get more than 15% of the world's population? Where does this "20%" figure come from? A figure arrived at by whom?

By me. There are so many different figures out there on the breakdown of ethnicities, races and religions, they get lost in the fog. It is much easier to remember in detail an entire childhood summer vacation than what one had for dinner the night before unless it included a bottle of Angelo Gaia Barbaresco then only the wine is remembered. Anyway, at 15% my arguement is much much stronger.

Well, without any calculation of the errors involved in the measurements, no one can say if the two numbers (15 and 20%) are really different.

Abot time.

It looks like Christians and other non-Muslims in Nigeria have finally had it and are taking the fight to the Muslims.

The UN will finally now notice and step in because the Christians are now killing the Muslims that have been killing Christians and others in Nigeria. TFB.

It is outstanding that the Christians and others in the Muslim areas are starting to fight back and this time the US America needs to arm the Christians in Nigeria and tell the UN to keep the hell out of the fight and let the Christians send all of the Muslims packing back to the Middle East.

Muslims are cowards when faced with a force that fights back, they turn and run.

Give ‘em hell Christians. Literally.

The war with Islam is inevitable.

Prepare be armed be ready.

The Texican.

Freedom. The only choice at any cost.

The US needs to better arm the Shiites and sit back and let the Shiites take it to the Sunnis.

This civil war has been brewing for decades and it is time for it to explode and let there be a winner.

This is one of those times when the US needs to let the parties battle it out.

The Texican.

Freedom. The only choice at any cost.

WHENEVER Coalition Forces leave Iraq, it will be touted as a win by the "militants". Imams will cry "Victory! The Prophet succeeds in ridding the scourge of infidels from our borders!" The ordinary muslim-bots on the street will believe their imams. Hopefully the "militants" will at least give us a chance to catch our collective breath before they "follow" us home. If we don't leave them fighting each other, what do you think they're going to do? But even this is just buying time.

President Bush has forgotten why we are fighting this war.

You guys can throw around all the dastisticks you want, but suffice it to say that these Moslems breed like flies.

A clerk down at the Financial Services Center desk over at the County Courthouse (i.e., the local welfare handout trough)told me that these Moslem Mammas seem to return with a new about every 10 months or so. I'll tellya, that room is jammed with burkhas.

They're never happy with the service, but they come back with an output number higher by one, demand more money, and get it. God Bless America.

The Vatican is finally waking up from a very, very long slumber:

"ENOUGH TURNING THE OTHER CHEEK"

Vatican to Muslims - practise what you preach
Thu Feb 23, 2006 5:45 PM GMT

By Tom Heneghan, Religion Editor

PARIS (Reuters) - After backing calls by Muslims for respect for their religion in the Mohammad cartoons row, the Vatican is now urging Islamic countries to reciprocate by showing more tolerance towards their Christian minorities.

Roman Catholic leaders at first said Muslims were right to be outraged when Western newspapers reprinted Danish caricatures of the Prophet, including one with a bomb in his turban. Most Muslims consider any images of Mohammad to be blasphemous.

After criticising both the cartoons and the violent protests in Muslim countries that followed, the Vatican this week linked the issue to its long-standing concern that the rights of other faiths are limited, sometimes severely, in Muslim countries.

Vatican prelates have been concerned by recent killings of two Catholic priests in Turkey and Nigeria. Turkish media linked the death there to the cartoons row. At least 146 Christians and Muslims have died in five days of religious riots in Nigeria.

"If we tell our people they have no right to offend, we have to tell the others they have no right to destroy us," Cardinal Angelo Sodano, the Vatican's Secretary of State (prime minister), told journalists in Rome.

"We must always stress our demand for reciprocity in political contacts with authorities in Islamic countries and, even more, in cultural contacts," Foreign Minister Archbishop Giovanni Lajolo told the daily Corriere della Sera.

Reciprocity -- allowing Christian minorities the same rights as Muslims generally have in Western countries, such as building houses of worship or practising religion freely -- is at the heart of Vatican diplomacy towards Muslim states.

Vatican diplomats argue that limits on Christians in some Islamic countries are far harsher than restrictions in the West that Muslims decry, such as France's ban on headscarves in state schools.

Saudi Arabia bans all public expression of any non-Muslim religion and sometimes arrests Christians even for worshipping privately. Pakistan allows churches to operate but its Islamic laws effectively deprive Christians of many rights.

Both countries are often criticised at the United Nations Human Rights Commission for violating religious freedoms.

"ENOUGH TURNING THE OTHER CHEEK"

Pope Benedict signalled his concern on Monday when he told the new Moroccan ambassador to the Vatican that peace can only be assured by "respect for the religious convictions and practices of others, in a reciprocal way in all societies".

He mentioned no countries by name. Morocco is tolerant of other religions, but like all Muslim countries frowns on conversion from Islam to another faith.

Iraqi Christians say they were well treated under Saddam Hussein's secular policies, but believers have been killed, churches burnt and women forced to wear Muslim garb since Islamic groups gained sway after the U.S.-led invasion in 2003.

Christians make up only a tiny fraction of the population in most Muslim countries. War and political pressure in recent decades have forced many to emigrate from Middle Eastern communities dating back to just after the time of Jesus.

As often happens at the Vatican, lower-level officials have been more outspoken than the Pope and his main aides.

"Enough now with this turning the other cheek! It's our duty to protect ourselves," Monsignor Velasio De Paolis, secretary of the Vatican's supreme court, thundered in the daily La Stampa. Jesus told his followers to "turn the other cheek" when struck.

"The West has had relations with the Arab countries for half a century, mostly for oil, and has not been able to get the slightest concession on human rights," he said.

Bishop Rino Fisichella, head of one of the Roman universities that train young priests from around the world, told Corriere della Sera the Vatican should speak out more.

"Let's drop this diplomatic silence," said the rector of the Pontifical Lateran University. "We should put pressure on international organisations to make the societies and states in majority Muslim countries face up to their responsibilities."

There should be stakeouts to see just how many wives are involved. A friend of mine, taking a cab within the past year, had a chatty Somali cab-driver who regaled his fare (so he thought), with tales of all the scams by his friends, with their 2, and 3, and 4 wives, and 12 or 16 or 20 children, all managing to live on the American dole. My friend was so shaken that he forgot to record the hack bureau's information on the driver, because had he, he would certainly have sent it to as many relevant government offices as he could find.

Let them find out just how many women are producing for this man. And are they citizens? And if so, is everything on the up-and-up, or is there something going on that might be grounds for re-thinking the whole question of what is becoming a domestic Jizyah, that is a transfer of wealth from Infidels, largely involuntary, to Muslims who do not and cannot feel a loyalty to the Infidel nation-state precisely to the extent that they are Believers, and not half-hearted ones. And one must assume that someone who chooses still to identify himself as a "Muslim" should be held to know what Islam teaches, what is to be found in Qur'an and Hadith, and to have accepted it -- otherwise he would not identify himself as that Muslim.

Demographic conquest is the main instrument of Jihad in the Western world. Work in every way to reverse it, to make it not quite so easy. Denial of benefits, after investigation into assorted kinds of illegal hanky-panky, is one of the best ways. Everyone should help out.

Time is on the Muslim's side. After all, they have been fighting wars for centuries, they are not going to stop even if the entire world turns to Islam.
Funny thing about Islam... the god Allah is acually a moon god from the ancient days when it spread throughout the Middle East. Thats why the mosques still carry the symbol of the cresent moon over them. Archaeology is very informative, especially when beliefs are questioned.

Hugh: "And one must assume that someone who chooses still to identify himself as a "Muslim" should be held to know what Islam teaches, what is to be found in Qur'an and Hadith, and to have accepted it -- otherwise he would not identify himself as that Muslim."

One may still make many excuses for the large number of Muslims who live in the east, far and away from western technology and held in thrall to their local imams, but increasingly, there will be no excuse for westerners who call themselves "moderate muslims". No excuse at all. And, come to think of it, that applies to every single Muslim poster who comes to this site and feigns ignorance about Muhammad's well-documented crimes. If they managed to find this site, then they are more than capable of discovering the truth about their prophet.
