There are many Muslims that claim that there is nothing in Islam that indicates global aspirations. My knowledge of the Quran is not detailed enough to argue this on the basis of how Islam is written (still memorising my copy). However, for all I care the Quran could say 'love and peace' 1,001 times. The fact is that, all too often, when Islam is practiced, it expresses itself as a fascist ideology incompatible with democracy, secular government, and secular law.

The fact is that we are dealing with a political Islam that can harness a deep reservoir of religious fanatics to carry out the dirty work of intimidation and murder. Recently many networks and papers practiced self censorship, not because of respect for Islamists but because they did not want to endanger their own staff - this is as sad fact. Few had the courage of their convictions, to say "you don't want my respect you want my submission". Indeed, submission is the fate that Christians and Jews face living in areas of Islam domination - the very definition of dhimmi. Those that are not of the book are lower yet - an Islamic cast system for believe systems is at the very heart of Islam.

The West and in particular the EU treats Islam on the basis of being a religion only, denying Islam’s political dimensions. Vilification laws in many countries prevent a political campaign against Islam. Such campaigns are invariably met with cries of racism, bigotry, and intolerance. While political jihad is waged unchecked, European and some American academics write book after book on the peaceful nature of religious jihad. Only when the unchecked political jihad overtly expresses itself in deadly criminal acts does some short term disruption of political jihad take place. However, even then political interference (eg London and Sydney) is not far way, compromising police investigations.
The political interference takes on form in phrases like “noble religion” and “extremists on either side have hijacked…”. A good recent example of this is the EU response to cartoon rage. Editorials in many European newspapers lay the blame for the cartoon row at the feet of extremists on either side. On the one side you have the T-shirt wearing, cartoon drawing ‘extremists’, on the other side you have machine-gun wielding demonstrators shooting at effigies, placards which threaten further 9/11s, intimidation of European citizens in the ME, and contracts written out by imams for the heads of the cartoonists.

Equating one with the other is part of problem and not addressing the problem.

History has proven over and over again that the less committed, the more moderate can and will be caught up in this movement, and once motivated, will be just as dangerous and unreasonable as the fanatics that are now informing and setting the agenda. I am with The Texican on this one. Starting to make preparations in case of trouble is just the next natural progression. Here in Florida almost everyone I know already has a hurricane box with supplies, all they should do is add a few things more suited for personal protection. I am not an alarmist but a realist. For some reason the muzzies now sense it is safe to ratchet up pressure on the west. The global performance currently underway will not have its desired effect. Instead of cowering in fear, the west is waking up and starting to question the logic of letting these idiots run loose. I would like to congratulate the muslims at the NY cartoon march for marching peacefully and inshaallah long may the peace continue.

This is in contrast to the pictutes in India where muslims were beating the crap out 10-12 sacks sewed together and filled with hay.

The imams were instructing 20-30 muslims, this is Bush, this is the Danes...and they were going hell for leather with thick fat sticks ....beating hay with sticks...LOOOL never seen something so funny.

However, note that all marches will continue inshaallah until new laws are passed to never allow Mohd (saw) to be carictured in this way. This is non-negoiatable and peaceful marches will continue until this denegration stops.

Your concern about what will happen when muslims will dare to start trouble the rural south of the USA is the same concer I have.
But I have this concer for what will happen when muslims will really piss off the native europeans.

Not more than 60 year ago, in Europe, Jews went in the showers and went out the chimney.
We did this to the best part of the Europe people, because people think they deserve it (they don't, but it is irrilevant). What do you think will happen when people will really pissed off?

The muslims are, usually, the underclass; poor, illetterate, living on the social security.
They were let in to hold low income jobs, but techonlogical progress push them out of the economic landscape (and will push more in the future).

So, Europe will have a most useless population of young muslims, ready to rioting but unable to support themselves. A very good target for hate, xenophobism and violence. The only problem is that, when the violence will start, like fire, it will not end until there is nothing to consume.

Here is what I suspect will happen. Once islam gets a foothold in the south and attempts to convert large numbers of my pickup driving cuzzins. A few misguilded and out for attention types will proudly claim to have converted. Mostly this will just be a way to get thier family members riled up. Most will treat anyone attemting to talk religion with them like they do the Jehovas witnesses. It will not be pretty and could put the poor muzzie in harms way. The best of my cuzzies have learned a few things about standing up for God and country, they are expert shots and know the local waterways well. Like all tribal/clans units they tend to group up when attacked from outside and are distrustful of strangers. If anyone could give ol Al Quida a lesson in insurgent warfare it would be the American redneck. I don't think anyone really realizes how far things have gone. I know of a babtist church who preaches the truth about islam and has guests give classes to explain the core beliefs and answer questions. My co-workers and I eat pork BBQ every Friday as a small protest against islam. The blogs are starting to show more and more Americans are starting to get it. I went to a flea market today and was pleased to see "support the Danes" shirts for sale. Yes, I bought one and wore it to walmart. I don't know why but the local muslims hang out there. They didn't seem pleased with the shirt but were smart enough to just pass by and keep silent. I wasn't looking for a conflict just showing some of us are not scared. Ask your local gun shop about the increased demand for ammo, it's not just for hunting. I don't think it will every get to an open warfare type of conflict here in the USA but people feel safer armed and prepared. I do think an increased pressure on our lawmakers will be seen in the next election and anyone who is seen as "tolerant" will be known as the weaker candidate and had best find a follow on job. Americans are by nature slow to react but once moving and mighter than Allah and his misguided followers. Before anyone complains I know of no Americans who consider Allah and God as the same diety. I have always thought that the small numbers of muzzie who hijacked the religion of peace are no threat. I worry more about the ones to cowardly to admit thier support. NIGERIAN rioters killed at least 15 people today after a Muslim protest against the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed descended into violence, a police spokesman said.

Witnesses said that protesters turned on the Christian minority in the northern city of Maiduguri, burning shops and churches, after police dispersed a rally called to condemn European newspapers that printed the caricatures.
A police spokesman, Deputy Commissioner Haz Iwendi said that army troops and police reinforcements had been deployed to the city and that a curfew had been imposed to bring about a return to order.

"We've arrested 115 people. Some 15 persons were killed by rioters, and 11 churches burnt," he said.

The victims were the first to die in Nigeria as anger over the drawings of Islam's prophet mounts among its 60 million Muslims, roughly half the population.

Mohammed Auwal, a civil servant said by telephone: "When the protesters gathered for the protest at Ramat square they were ordered by a police detachment to disperse but the crowd insisted on holding the protest."

"The policemen then fired canisters of teargas to disperse the crowd.
"When news went into town about what happened at the square, a mob attacked motor spare-parts shops of Christian Igbo traders at Monday market in the city, looting and burning them," Auwalu said.

A local reporter, Abdullahi Bego said from the scene that at least 20 shops had been looted and vandalised and churches had been burned to the ground.

"There are a lot of anti-riot police squad all over the city and their presence has helped quell the rampage," Mr Bego said.

Ibrahim Bukar, a student, said: "I have been indoors since the riots broke out but a friend told me he saw two dead bodies at the scene of the looting."

In recent weeks there have been protests around the world - some peaceful, some violent - by Muslims angry over the publication in European newspapers of cartoons satirising Islam's holiest figure, the Prophet Mohammed.

In a radio broadcast following the violence, Governor Ali Modu Sheriff said: "The Borno State government is shocked and disgusted."

Good luck to the Mohammadans who try to set foot in the south. My mama's family is from there and they still haven't gotten over the war of Northern Aggression. It's a bit of a touchy subject, to say the least. Since they are now better armed and have lots of productive and lucrative industry going on down there, the Mohammadans shouldn't be so quick to think they can walk in and take over.

The last thing Southerners will put up with is hefty bagging their pretty girls on warm southern evenings, eliminating that most southern of delicious meals, the pork BBQ, or giving any creedence to ANY other invading army who fancies taking over southern lands and squashing southern pride.
