Ohio: Documents from Muslim charity seized during terror arrests

Toledo Jihad Update. "Documents from Muslim charity seized during terror arrests," from AP, with thanks to Jeffrey Imm:

TOLEDO, Ohio -- Documents seized by federal agents suggest that two of three Muslim men accused of plotting to kill American and allied soldiers may have ties to a Muslim charity suspected of funneling money to the militant organization Hamas.

Federal agents seized an invoice from the charity, known as KindHearts, from a travel agency where defendant Mohammad Zaki Amawi worked.

Agents also took a KindHearts binder from an address where defendant Marwan Othman El-Hindi lived.

Lists of items seized were filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Toledo.

The three suspects _ El-Hindi, Amawi and Wassim I. Mazloum _ were arrested last weekend. All have pleaded not guilty to charges including conspiring to kill Americans and conspiring to provide or conceal support to terrorists. They could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted of the most serious offenses.

U.S. Attorney Greg White said the investigations of KindHearts and the alleged terror plot are separate.

KindHearts has denied any terrorist connections and has said it is a humanitarian organization. But on Feb. 19, the Treasury Department ordered U.S. banks to freeze the assets of the Toledo-based charity.

Cleveland lawyer Jihad Smaili, who is also a KindHearts board member, said Saturday that items seized by federal agents during the terror arrests do not prove any link with his organization.

"There is no connection there," Smaili said. "Even if these men had KindHearts items in their possession, that does not mean that KindHearts supported them to do something illegal. That would be guilt by association."

Mazloum, 24, is Lebanese and came to the United States in 2000. He is a legal, permanent resident of the U.S.

El-Hindi, 43, is a U.S. citizen born in Jordan. Amawi, 26, is a citizen of both the U.S. and Jordan.

Other items seized by federal agents during the arrests included bank and phone records, computers, cell phones, knives, travel records and battle dress uniforms.

Good work by the feds on this one,it should serve as a warning to any more terrorists living in the U.S. that we will find you and expose you and your backers as to what you really are.

"There is no connection there," Smaili said. "Even if these men had KindHearts items in their possession, that does not mean that KindHearts supported them to do something illegal. That would be guilt by association."

RICO acts and Conspiracy charges warrent the association charges here in the U.S., if the shoe fits wear it.

Chuck you say, Good work by the feds on this one...
Chuck, don't you think that these muslims will scream that they have been victimised,, and that the stuff was planted on them and it is all the Americans fault, and as the infidel feels so guilty for Muslims killing them, the infidel will bend over backwards to exonerate them...shows you that the infidel is not the ones with the brains eh...
I have just started reading Mr Spenser's, book on the crusades etc, and so far it has left me feeling that with communism, the left wing, the Fabians society, the media, the Muslims, etc and even our own we don't stand much of a chance... we will be walked over easily and our own will help them...
The world believes that the crusaders were to blame for killing millions of muslims,no one seems to believe that it was Muslims destroying the infidel...the West seem to want to believe that we have been the evil ones all through time...I don't care about the past, I care for now and I see these animals coming for my children...I cannot understand how the world cant see that everywhere in the world that tens of thousands of Muslims are causing problems, and their clerics back them, EVERYWHERE...

"Toledo Jihad": Good thing no one thought of that one when naming the minor-league hockey team back in the '90s...

More random thoughts over that first, all-important cup of coffee:

- Dual citizenship: When did that creep in, and does it apply to every country? I remember a British-born lady in my parents' neighborhood saying her kids had dual US/UK citizenship as minors, but would have to choose upon turning 18. That was a few years back.

- Jihad Smaili's reasoning on the possibility of the Kind Hearts (with the Hamas connection, it's rather fitting that the name sounds like an animal shelter!) charity connection being totally benign is beyond laughable.

I hope someone's investigating Mr. Smaili, too, just to be sure he's simply appallingly naive, and not somehow in on it too (place your bets).

- "Jihad Smaili:" I guess they couldn't name him "taqqiya."

how can these scum come into the US and become citizens anyway! i took a friend of mine from Alberta a couple of years, and thousands of dollars to get their green cards!! l got to move back north of the French River to get away from these pieces of crap. they dont seem to last one winter up there, and leave by the spring!

"may have ties to a Muslim charity suspected of funneling money to the militant organization Hamas."
-- from the article above

But now, we are informed in various newspaper articles -- if these are trial balloons, get out your rifles and shoot them down -- the Administration intends to keep supplying "humanitarian aid" to Hamas, to a Hamas-run government.

In other words, the Justice Department will uncover, will investigate, will press charges against, will try, will attempt to win cases against, those who supply Hamas with money, as in the case above.

Meanwhile, an Administration that does not know where to put its feet and hands, and will not until enough of its members take time from their busy schedules to read about Islam, to find out about the tenets of Islam and the meaning, and instruments, of Jihad, and the consequeneces for Infidels of Jihad-conquest -- meanwhile that Adminstration, or rather the State Department, will insist that we, all of us, you and I, every taxpayer in the United States, should contribute the very same kind of "aid" to Hamas -- this time, legally, because it is part of an insensate ill-thought out "policy" of the government.

So here and there people sending money to Hamas, a declared terrorist group, will be arrested by the Justice Department for supporting a terrorist group.

And meanwhile, another part of the govenment, the State Department, will push for all of us to give aid to Hamas legally, officially, governmentally. And this despite the fact that in this "democracy" (is that what we have?) 95% of the population would, if asked, be against such a transfer of American wealth to Hamas?

Oh, the Administration will say. It's only for "humanitarian" aid. The others were sending aid that could be used to support suicide bombing and propaganda celebrating terrorism and things like that. So that's different.

Only a fool could argue that way. Every dollar or euro given by the Infidels to a Hamas-run government helps make that government succeed. We do not wish it to succeed. Every dollar or euro sent to that government for "humanitarian aid" simply frees up money, even more money, which the "Palestinians" with their dozen separate security forces, their tens of thousands of men under arms (it's the best job around, its a sinecure, and everyone wants to have those jobs funded -- it's "humanitarian" to keep those black-balacklaved well-kalashnikoved boys receiving their monthly salaries. To deprive them of the only thing they know how to do, to condemn them to unemployment, or possible retraining as -- as anything else under the sun -- would not be "humanitarian.")

So arrest them in Ohio for sending money to Hamas.

And then, in Washington, insist to Congress that the American taxpayers have to send money to Hamas. But it will be "official" money. Done "through official channels." And it will be for "humanitarian" aid, not weapons or videocassettes or kalashnikovs). No, it will be for things like food.

But if those tens of thousands of "Palestianians" keep getting that Jizyah, they will never change. They will never have to go to work, or still better, conclude that they exist purely as a negative phenomenon, to destroy the Infidel state, and that the "Palestinian" state is permanently unviable unless it receives, in perpetuity, money from the Infidels.

Who, in official Washington, will declare that we cannot arrest people for sending money to Hamas and then start sending it to Hamas ourselves?

Who will make a citizen's arrest of Bush or Rice, if they insist on sending money to the terrorist organization Hamas? For they will not be doing less than those three men rounded up in Ohio. Money is money. What need not be spent on food or medicine will now go, certainly, to bombs and guns. There is no distinction to be made in this case. This is not a case of the survivors of a natural disaster who need to be supplied with "humanitarian aid" and who will then return to their peaceful lives. It is a case of a self-primitivized people, the shock troops of the Lesser Jihad against Israel, who are being kept on artificial life--support by the Infidels who keep supplying Jizyah. Stop it. What would the American government say to a regime that offered "humanitarian aid" to Al-Qaeda -- dropping parcels of food and medicine all over southeastern Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan, carefully marked "From the American people -- Humanitarian Aid."

What's wrong with these people -- morally, politically, intellectually?

Everything.

"the Fabians society", read a book about those bastards, Gaye, may they all burn in hell.

If they arrest these characters for funding Hamas, will our government have to arrest itself shortly for doing the same thing?

I say arrest the Hamas aid, first.

Give nothing to terrorists except death.

Hugh-

You got there 'firstest with the mostest' on the same thoughts I had.

I especially like your idea of a "citizens arrest of Condoleeza Rice and George Bush" - "for funding terrorism".

I'll buy a [defunct] second-hand Port Authority badge on ebay should the need for this 'anti-civil disobedience' opportunity sadly arise, and flash it first during said procedure.

And let me reiterate (in italics and caps):

GIVE NOTHING TO TERRORISTS BUT DEATH!

Hi Gaye,
You say: "I don't care about the past, I care for now and I see these animals coming for my children...I cannot understand how the world can't see that everywhere in the world that tens of thousands of Muislims are causing problems, and their clerics back them, EVERYWHERE..."

The reason you cannot understand is because you have come late to the party of HISTORY. The same HISTORY you say you do not care about.

In order to defeat the enemy you must study the history of the enemy and then bring their ideas, tactics and goals to light. The mainstream media has amnesia about any history in consistent with its own pinko vision. And I chose that color specifically!

Until you care about HISTORY, learn it, learn about the mis information you were taught in school and from the last 50 years of the mainstream media, and uncover the truth yourself so that you can passionately discuss the errors with those who confront you and who indicate you are the problem, you will be the problem.

HISTORY MATTERS

Absolutely know they will be screaming at the top of they're lungs that all this evidence is planted and manufactured against them...CAIR will step in as well to provide character witness to yet another mooslum charged with atrocitie's, the koran say's it is ok to lie and manipulate the infidels , no it commands them to lie and manipulate to cause grief and confusion.

Islam is vile and the sooner everyone realize's this the sooner we as the other people of the book can shut this down.

Gaye- Thanks for coming aboard, I hope you pass along what you've found out to other people who may be hanging in the dark. Get the word out to everyone you know and prepare yourself for the unexpected.
