KARACHI (AFP) - Denmark temporarily shut its embassy in Islamabad and Pakistan recalled its envoy from Copenhagen, amid relentless protests over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed. An Islamic cleric added fuel to the fire by offering a one-million-dollar reward for killing the artists of the 12 cartoons, first published in Denmark in September 2005 and widely reprinted across Europe.Thousands of protestors took to the streets for a fifth straight day in Pakistan and clashed with police, who shot and wounded a boy.
Nearly 300 were arrested and a firebrand Islamic leader was put under house arrest in a bid to dampen unrest that has left five Pakistanis dead this week.
What does Denmark or any other country need an embassy in Pakistan or any other shithole islamic country?
I think the cartoons were rather bland, but it
looks bombhead Mo is the unofficial winner by
a landslide. Whenever I think of Islam, a
picture of bombhead comes into my mind.
Are there any bombhead posters or T shirts available on the web yet?
Other Western countries should follow suit. The rule should be: wherever the local danger to the diplomatic personnel, or travellers, from a particular Infdiel country, has become so great as to require the withdrawal of embassy staff, then all the other Infidel countries should withdraw their staff as well.
Not the least of the advantages is that this will make it impossible for the locals to obtain visas even to visit, much less settle in, those Infidel lands. And an end to such settlement is the first, minimum step that needs to be taken.
Close those embassies and consulates. They have nothing we need, save oil and gas. And you do not need diplomatic relations to buy those on the open market. You need only to pay the market rate.
The less we have to do with Mulsim states and peoles, the more they have to confront their own problems by themselves, and begin to recognize that Islam itself is the problem for them, as well as for Infidels -- and this recognition will be delayed by Infidel help which is so foolishly extended when the Infidels need to help each other to recover their own countries, their own sense of identity, their own self-confidence, an appreciation of their own achievements or those, at least, from whom they have inherited the laws, customs, manners, art, science, and everything else created by the non-Muslmi world, and that is a source of envry, resentment, and keen embarrassment, for Muslims everywhere.
For those achievements do not fit what they are taught to believe must be: Islam "is to dominate and not to be dominated."
I agree with Hugh that we need to limit our help to these countries but a presence is always advisable to get first-hand impressions of what the nasties are doing
What happened to the "we love the West" gushing from Pakistan after all the help given for the earthquake?
Gratitude is very short-lived over there, even while the quake help is still ongoing.
Any story referencing the publishing
of the cartoons should always say
"first published in Denmark in
September 2005, then reprinted in
Egypt and widely across Europe.
This demonstrates the hypocrisy
of the whole thing and that it is
merely a demonstration of the
destructive power of Islam against
the rest of the world, and not
a cardinal belief of Islam at all.

Good! Denmark needs to snap such ties with all Mohammedan countries, not just the ones where its embassy staff have been threatened.
And other Western countries need to follow suit. Not just for the reasons Hugh mentions above, but because these vermin have been demonstrating against the US, Israel and other countries that have nothing to do with the cartoons. The typical Mohammedan guilt by association.
Keep that in mind the next time a major terrorist attack occurs. And then declare war on all of Islam!
Where is this Islamic cleric moonbat going to get a million dollars? Do you really think he will give you his million dollars after you have whacked a cartoonist? How would you collect? How would you PROVE your nasty deed? Walk all the way back to Pakyland with the cartoonists head in your valise? How do you walk that thing through customs? Where do you get the bill of sale to prove the head is actually yours? The devil is in the details...
News Flash: I've just heard that another Islamic cleric has offered a two million dollar reward for the head of the first Islamic cleric who put out the first offer. Now, a third Islamic cleric has offered three million dollars for the head of the second Islamic cleric herein mentioned. And....
