Tehran, Iran, Feb. 07 – Iran’s former President Ayatollah Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani accused the West on Tuesday of carrying out the work of Satan after cartoons depicting the prophet Mohammad negatively were published in European dailies....“Insulting the prophet of peace and freedom under the pretext of freedom of thought and expression is a satanic conspiracy which without doubt will be disclosed as before with the presence of Muslims everywhere”, he said, the state-run Fars news agency reported.
The powerful cleric said that the West’s goal for publishing the cartoons was “clear” and encouraged Muslims everywhere to rise up against such “plots”.
I am going to repeat myself here but oh well, the passion still burns. To call the west including Christians satan well that is just too much. The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree and we can see how rotten the fruit seems to be in Islam. Violence against each other and everyone in the west. Continual anger and rage and no end in sight. When are we in the west going to collectively realize that we are at war with the Islamic world. The other side is rallying their troops by stirring hatred against us by using any excuse possible.

Although I claim no Scholarly status, I believe that allah of islam and the Yahweh of Christians and Jews are not the same. With that said, by simply believing mohammed’s teachings that his allah is divine and worthy of worship a person is committing gravest of sins.

I’ve seen arguments for their being 6,666 verses and arguments for their being other numbers –apparently it’s debatable and we, as mere infidels, may never truly know due to the numerous translations of the Qur’an and which one we may be consulting at the time.

I thank you!! I'm glad to see someone is finally getting their act together. HOWEVER, I notice that this group would really not be for me. It's seems to be more of a "right wing" pro-bush, pro-Iraq war, anti "hippie" group. Protesting against misguided, naive, "blame America first", Americans (islamic apologists) is not really my interest. I actually was against the invasion of Iraq from the beginging and knew it would lead to the state we are in. Mostly i opposed it because unlike leftists who just oppose all war period, i felt that there were plenty of other countries higher up on the list of countries we needed to invade first :) . Like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakisatan, Syria ETc ETC. My Main interest would be to focus on 100% Muslim pro-terrorist, long bearded, Immigrant-alien traitor, "islam will dominate the world" sign bearing, do it at the WTC site, type of protesters. I dont care what some people here think of the Average "leftist", they would never join a protest like that or belive that the Cartoon rage was Justified! I would rather focus on them. But I 'll still look into it, they would probably counter protest these alien immigrant traitor protests as well.
I am in total agreement with Disciple who commented that they should read the Bible. If they would do so with an open heart, their eyes may be opened and the darkness removed.

While those comments are well meant, I think it will take a lot more to lift darkness off muslims, than just reading the Bible. The problem is with the 'open heart' that you cite.
Islam has no heart at all, so there is not much there to open. Any muslim who does read the Bible with an open heart is either an apostate or nearly one. Mohammad knew lots of Bible stuff, but he had no heart, so he just hijacked it for his own Allahic/Quranic/power hungry, despotic agenda. If thats not Satanic, it's at least evil...
If anyone would recognize the works of Satan first hand, it would surely be this wholly evil leader of Iran...
