I think it is clearly ridiculous that the Muslim nations of the world find it necessary to become violent and threatening to other Nations over a damned cartoon. I understand Muslim people may have strong convictions in regard to their religion but those convictions can not be forced onto others. As an American I feel growing anger daily over the intolerance in the Muslim world. I wish for peace as much as anyone else but I would not sit back and allow for another crusade. I do realize Christians made the same type of mistakes a while back and some still do but they do not gain public approval. Free Nations will not be bullied into forfeiting their freedoms so many died for because Muslims don't tolerate them. This could get ugly really fast and I hope things change for the better. But we who support freedom of speech need to unite in order to fend of this attack on ideals.

The Qur'an contains passages explicitly instructing the extermination of the followers of the Judaic faith. And this is, to my mind, Islam's "smoking gun."

Now, why in the world would ANYONE sentence people who are so clearly benign to such a violent end? The Jews clearly pose no physical threat to anyone as long as they followed Yahweh's commands (and most of them do seem to try). What motivates such violence towards a non-violent people???? I'll come to that in a minute.

Now, in sharp contrast to the Jews, the peoples of Babylon (the strongest cultural force in Middle Eastern history and quite possibly the TRUE source of most Islamic beliefs and as I have stated before it is highly probable that 'allah' is a synonym for 'Marduk') were practitioners of human sacrifice. In Babylon the ziggurat structures I am told were the locations where human sacrifice ceremonies were performed.

Now what would happen when people who worshiped a deity that demands its worshipers kill human beings ravenously, steadily and brutally to placate him are introduced to a people who worshiped a deity that has commanded them to hold the life of human beings sacred and has thus outlawed violence?

Wouldn't the practitioners of the human sacrifice sect react by perceiving the introduction of sanctity of human life and banning of killing as a threat to their way of life? Would they not see this as heresy and wicked?? And is it not possible that at some point such a human sacrifice sect as those of Babylon would turn their institutionalized killing against the believers of non-violence and outlawing of killing? And isn't this what Islamic ideology essentially commits its followers to do?

Think about it.

Islam arose from a part of the world where human sacrifice was practiced for thousands of years. Islam evolved from such religious sects and contains elements of human sacrifice in its ideology.

That verse came from the Qur'an. You will notice that it says to KILL non-Muslims!! Non-Muslims are what is meant by the term "infidel."

The Muslims do seem to typically have this amazing incapacity for self-criticism, or even to see themselves as others do. So their whole protest is hypocritical to put it mildly. Most people here at JW/DW probably know about the obnoxious murder-inciting cartoons against Jews in the Arab press, not to mention TV series sponsored more or less officially by Syria and Egypt. I first became aware of that sort of cartoon back in 1967 after the 6-Day War when many Arab cartoons were published in English language translations. Then of course religious intolerance is an everyday matter in Egypt where the Copts, the purest descendants of pre-Arab conquest Egyptians, are the victims of Muslim intolerance, oppression, etc.

Another point is that they think they have the duty to take out their anger --or retaliate for insults-- not by somehow attacking the newspaper Jyllands Posten, but by attacking everything Danish. They even burned the Norwegian embassy in Damascus, whereas Norway has done so much to help the Arabs against Israel, and the Norwegian govt had even apologized for the cartoons being published there. They not only reject freedom of the press when it goes against them, but --and this may be even more dangerous- they reject the principle of the innocent civilian. In other words, they are want to harm --maybe to kill-- every and any Dane just because of what one newspaper did. France and Norway have been extremely pro-Arab for many years, yet they go after those countries too. Clearly there are many problems involved in dealing with and appeasing the Muslims. Where does it stop? Who is going to demand reciprocity from them?

They will simply lie. No muslim should ever be granted citizenship in the West. The protesters in London who are citizens, and may even be born in Britain, should be seen as people who have openly shown their hatred and enmity of Britain, and consequently the Crown should withdraw its protection from them.

Britain is a monarchy and in the not so distant past, any subject who flouted his enmity of the Crown would have come to a sticky end pretty quick. Point is - these laws are still on the statute books. Expulsion from the realm would have been considered a merciful judgement.
