Tehran, Iran, Feb. 28 – A senior Iranian cleric has approved attacks on foreign embassies in Tehran over the publication of insulting cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in European dailies, a website belonging to the office of hard-line Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reported.“Muslims must take the most ferocious stance against insults to Islamic sanctities”, the senior cleric told Ayatollah Dorri Najaf-Abadi, the country’s Chief State Prosecutor, according to the Persian-language website Khedmat.
“If setting fire to embassies of countries that insult the Prophet aims to show that these countries no longer have any place in Islamic countries then this act is permissible”, the senior ayatollah was quoted as saying.

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong. but isn't burning an embassy considered an act of war? I mean the consulate is considered an extension of the country being represented and any unauthorized intrusion there of is tantamount to a declaration of war by the host country. If I'm wrong please, by all means, correct me. Because if I am correct and this is true, this cleric is telling his followers to invade either a foreign country or foreign countries. And in lew to the pass few weeks when the Danish cartoons were published, there have been a great many consulates burned down. And according to my knowledge a state of war exists between Denmark and the Islamic world.

Diplomatic immunity is an ancient concept that is common to all of the world's great civilizations with one exception, Imperial Rome. The Romans were so powerful that they did not see the need for any diplomatic interaction except to receive tribute or surrender. After the fall of Rome diplomatic immunity returned to the scene as a hallmark of civilized behaviour and has remained so until the present.
Respecting diplomatic immunity is now considered an absolute and necessary prerequisite to acceptance as a member in the community of nations and to expect to receive the privileges and rights of a sovereign nation. To abandon this standard is a signal to all other nations that the door to all diplomatic dialogue is closed. That pretty much only leaves military options on the table. If that is the game they want to play, no problem, the East and the West both have centuries of experience in dealing with such miscreants.

Regarding status of embassies (or diplomatic missions). I did a quick check of a couple of sources and both seem to agree - here is the Wikipedia version which seems correct:
"Under international law, diplomatic missions enjoy an extraterritorial status and thus, although remaining part of the host country's territory, they are exempt from local law and in almost all respects treated as being part of the territory of the home country. They are also only required to pay taxes equal to their respective countries' guidelines."

Yes, a embassy is the soveriegn territory of the country represented. Supported throughtout history, by international law, and the UN.
The laws are still there, it is just that the spines of the politicians are gone.

It’s all about the drama, a senior cleric from Iran (Shia) ped off about cartoon and screaming for revenge (against the west) but didn’t say a word about one of Shia islams most holy shrines getting renovated. Oh yeah, I forget, they make everything a most holy place when it suits their purposes. I am just thankful they blew the mosque up. Can you imagine the worldwide outrage if they had drawn a cartoon on the front door? That would have really insulted ol muhamad and riots would have broken out everywhere. All muslims would have banned ink pens and sharpies, they would force the UN into passing laws against cartoons. Every high ranking islamic cleric would be on our TV, our MSM cowering in fear and showing “tolerance and respect”. I’m not sure if they have any low ranking clerics but if so, they would get at least quoted on our radio stations. Except for the country ones, they seem to misunderstand the finer points of islamic enlightenment. I have learned much over the last few months, I now understand the value of cartoons far outweighs the value of a mosque. Except for the location, as far as real estate values go, I can find no argument with the logic. If muslims themselves do not value a valued muslim holy site, why should I? I do remember one in Bosnia was torn down and a garage built over it. It was a much better use for the land and served a real purpose. In defense of shia islams most holy shrine, I don’t think it should be rebuilt as a garage, just leave it as is, a reminder of the importance of cartoons and the low value of (muslim) historical religious institutions.
Attacks on Western embassies have been permissible since that pretentious Dhimmi Khadr agreed to allow them to go unpunished. I am furious at the idea that one US tax dollar would be spent rebuilding or maintaining any building which is dedicated to the promulgation of Islam. Even here in America, this seditious ideology enjoys the perks and protections of tax free "religious" status -- despite the fact that they are inimical political and ideological organizations, in some cases calling directly for the overthrow of the US government, the failure of the US military, and the implementation of Sharia laws on US soil.

We could simply say to the Muslims -- "Of course we deplore the bombing, but US law forbids the spending of Governement dollars on State Established Religions such as those in Iraq and Afghanistan. You're on your own -- Muslims will have to foot the bill for Muslim shrines and Mosques. Period."
I don't think a single Muslim would think any worsethan they already do of us, and we'd save a pile of cash - and at least partially prevent US tax dollars being spent to prop up anti-American propaganda organs such as Mosques. I also maintain that spending dollars to prop up Muslims only seems to earn their increased hatred and contempt ... It's money that's wasted completely. Yes, good ole' Jimmy Carter and his appeasement politics. He completely abandoned the Shah (who wasn't perfect but look what he was up against!) and then basically did nothing when the embassy was overrun and hostages taken. And on and on and on it went, all the while eroding U.S. prestige and respect in the world. And once a rescue attempt was finally undertaken, the under-funded and dispirited military was no longer capable of doing the job.

Learn where Muslim businesses are in your area.
Learn where the Muslims live in your area.
Preparing for war is expensive, but what is the life of your family and survival of your Country worth to you??? What are you willing to sacrifice to defeat Islam???

Be armed:
If you do not have arms, buy your family arms and ammo and learn how to use them. The first arms to purchase are shotguns, then handguns then rifles.

They will go to the West for education in full scholarship. America is paying and will continue to pay for our children’s educations and their upbringing in state funded Islamic schools.
We will use your welfare system. Our children will also send money home while they are preparing for Jihad.
We will take the advantage of American kindness, gullibility, and compassion. When time comes, we will stab them in the back. We will say one thing on the camera and teach another thing to our children at home. We will give subliminal messages to our children to uphold Islam at any cost. Our children in America will always care more about Islamic Country’s interest than US interest.
We will teach our children Islamic supremacy from the very childhood. We will teach them not to compromise with Infidel. Once we do that from the very early age our children won’t hesitate to be martyr. We will take over the Europe first and then US will be the next. We already have a solid ground in the UK, Holland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Germany, and now in the US.
Our children will marry Caucasian in Europe and in America. We will mixed with intricate fabric of the Western society but still will remember to Jihad when time comes. Who are we?

Visualize the news flash all over the world, …Moslem mother is sobbing, ….crying. ….Her babies are killed by Jews and Americans, the whole world is watching live. Hundreds of millions of Muslims all around the world are boiling. They will march through Europe. We will use our women to produce more babies who will in turn be used as armor/shield. Our babies are the gift from Allah for Jihad.
West manufactures their tanks in the factory. We will manufacture our military force by natural means, by producing more babies. That is the way it is cheaper.

That is modern warfare. The West will loose.

Wafa Sultan is indeed a very brave woman. If only more talk like hers was being spoken on media outlets, we might avoid bloodshed and see a true reform movement in Islam. But, unfortunately, it is more likely that speakers liker herself will just end up victims of the jihad and any message of reason will be kept silent.
If reasoning fails we will all have to be prepared to do what must be done to protect what is ours.

Thank you for your preparedness post. I'm not much of a survivalist. My mother and stepfather, on the other hand, are ready for the Apocalypse. Problem is, I might not be able to get with them, in time, should the worst happen.
I'm prepared for hurricanes, more so than before we got slammed by Charley. If you could recommend any specific literature on survivalism, I would appreciate it.
