Textbooks Proselytize for Allah

From Frontpage Magazine more textbook interference recounted by Kalavai Venkat:

Muslim organizations have not only used California schools and textbooks to proselytize for Allah, but they now seek to portray other religions through an Islamic prism, claim the modern Jews do not have an historical connection to the nation of Israel, and reintroduce the charge of deicide to American textbooks.
The Council on Islamic Education (CIE) seems to have appointed itself the ultimate authority on English usage complaining that:
"In describing the beliefs, the authors’ insistence on leaving the word Allah un-translated in some instances creates the impression that Allah is the distinct god of the Arabs, rather than the One God worshipped by Jews, Christians, Muslims and others."

Look, Jihad Watch commenters have been around and around and around about this. Yes Arab Christians call God “Allah”. But in English we use “Allah” to mean the Muslim understanding of God which is indeed different from the Christian understanding of God, the Buddhist understanding of God, the Jewish understanding of God. It does not matter whether or not there is only one God; we use the words to distinguish among human ideas about God.
CIE has further revisions to make the dictionary
"The Hebrew name for God is never pronounced by Jews, as it is considered too holy. God is represented by the Hebrew letters YHWH. As indicated, the references to 'Yahweh' should be changed to 'God,' just as the Arabic word 'Allah' should be introduced and then all subsequent references should be to 'God'."
Again, in modern English, Yahweh is used to indicate the particularly Jewish understanding of God, especially the understanding of ancient Jews.
But CIE is more than the ultimate lexicographer. They are cartographers, too, warning that
"It is important to avoid treating the name “Israel” as the normative designation for territory whose boundaries and claimants have shifted throughout human history."

But finally, the CIE's inner English teacher reasserts itself, warning against passive voice.
"The suggested passive construction 'Jesus was arrested' occludes the particular historical actors in the situation."

To completely cripple someone intellectually, to shut off the ability for critical analysis and skeptical inquiry, you have to start administering the poison when he is young. Islam embraces this idea with their system of madrassas and, as in our California schools, with their insidious self-serving dawa.

The Muslim chemical engineer who censors the California textbooks on behalf of Islam is conducting jihad by the pen.

You know, lacking all the historical studies that Christianity and Judaism have been subjected to, Islam might be in a rather precarious situation. For instance, what proof is there that Mohammed actually existed? Perhaps he is entirely a creature of the imagination, borne out of Arab armies needing some sort of justification for their barbarism.

I think we need to look at this very closely and with clear eyes and clear heads (assuming they are not gouged out or chopped off). Let them prove the pedophile existed. I say he never did.

As Orwell noted in "1984", those who control the definitions shape the next generation's mind.

And that the ideal despot's dictionary would have as few words as possible, to reduce the scope of thinkable things.

Islamic "scholars" understand that if you can prevent skeptical inquiry at its root by distorting the meanings of once common knowledge, you can invade, infiltrate and undermine the infidel culture in relative safety.

Then overthrow it with ease, and supplant it with a narrow-minded, but maniacally strong dogma.

Every p.c. change to agreed-upon knowledge slides us down this stuporous slope, from things like "Peking" being morphed to "Beijing" (who really cared that it was changed? And what was gained?) or B.C. and A.D. becoming B.C.E. and C.E. History's study becomes more confused and unstable and unnecessarily vague as you keep shifting the foundational concepts, and the boundaries of the discipline cavalierly. Or merely to placate absurd political quibbles like: is it "Kampuchea" or "Cambodia"? Why waste time, money, energy and intellectual skills merely changing all the maps, books, references, etc., when absolutley nothing of any value is gained?

In this school text case, it is not a simple meddlesome folly, but a conscious effort to distort, weaken, confuse, sow dissention, bastardize and insert pure propaganda.

If the teachers in this district knew anything, they'd know how to resist this feckless idiocy.

But who teaches Aesop or the labors of Hercules or the parable of the Mechanical Nightingale or Pandora's Box or even Rip Van Winkle in middle school anymore?

The culture is being stripped of any skeleton of core knowledge and cultural myths with which to hold the rest of the looser info together with any coherence.

The Islamic infil-traitors are poisoning the wellsprings of education.

We know why. They want to overrun the world.

They need to pour their bile into our concepts.

Time to tell them this twisting of the truth will not pass.

I have sent an email of Venkat's article to the Bishop of Episcopal Bay area Churches of California,with a note as to why the Churches and the Parents of other faith children in these schools are sleeping in California,and to take immediate action against the Educational Department.
