The Internet jihad

Internet Jihad Update from a Washington Times editorial today (thanks to Gnosis):

A troubling video of an insurgent sniper in Iraq known only as "Juba" is spreading across the Internet. As National Public Radio describes it, in the professional-quality video, "Juba" is quiet, efficient and ruthless as he trains his sights on American soldiers and pulls the trigger. Jihadist messages accompany the grisly footage -- in English. The video's colloquial American vernacular strongly suggests the video was either made in the United States or by people deeply familiar with this country -- and skilled in the use of the latest technologies.

"Juba" is just the latest indication of the frightening success of the Internet jihad. "Our enemies have skillfully adapted to fighting wars in today's media age, but... our country has not," Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said despondently earlier this month. Whether the United States is "losing" this high-technology war is debatable, but clearly we suffer critical losses the moment a "Juba" video in English comes into existence and spreads around the world.

Iran is suspected of having launched DoS attacks:

The Iranian government is suspected of launching a massive denial of service attack against a British newspaper. With upcoming discussions of UN actions against them could other western news agencies and government sites be next?

From the above:

"Our enemies have skillfully adapted to fighting wars in today's media age, but... our country has not," Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld said despondently earlier this month."

Funny.
For the last 80something years the powers-that-be have been waging a relentless war on the minds of the American people. They've exploited our past successes and technological advances and turned them against us. Is it any wonder that the "baby-boomer" generation has not had any amazing discoveries or inventions of their own? But now Bush has decided the population is indoctrinated, dependant, and pacified enough to promote a higher interest and investment in real science. Knowledge of real scientific method, procedure, philosophy, and criteria shows the LIE to 99% of so-called "social-science".

Who is "they".( a few names, Carnegie, Morgan, CFR, Rhodes, Dewey, Sachs, Warburg, CFR, Fabian, Edward Mandell House, Eduarde Bernays, Wilson, Roosevelt, BF Skinner, Frankfurt School, Rockefeller, etc, and gee-whiz, there's alot of so-called "capitalists"(an invention of Marx) there.
They are the ones who sold-out the country in 1913. They are the ones who changed the American self-image from individualist into collectivist. They are the ones who openly pursue their agenda while denying the ultimate result. They claim the necessity of de-facto enslavement as the only option that ensures survival of the human-race. But it's a pleasant slavery, one we've been programed and conditioned to accept. But eventually, ignorance is no longer an excuse, and the TRUTH cannot be denied.

"Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have... a right, an indisputable, unalienable, indefeasible, divine right to that most dreaded and envied kind of knowledge, I mean the characters and conduct of their rulers."
— John Adams, American Founding Father and second U.S. president (1735-1826).

But there is a method to their madness....

"[America] goes not abroad, in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She is the champion and vindicator only of her own. She will commend the general cause by the countenance of her voice, and the benignant sympathy of her example. She well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom." - John Quincy Adams.

And then finally the REALITY:

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."-- Samuel Adams.

But them Muslims are a tough nut to crack, they are prisoners of their own form of mind-slavery.

Here is a link to this video on Google of all places

From the looks of the video several of those shot are not killed, thankfully, and the shots are not coming from the same place as the camera. Also this is not nearly the level of quality that the editorial claims.

Seems like a good idea might be to not only look for the sniper after the shot but also the camera man.

For some reason, I don't think "Juba" or his compadres have considered the existance of U.S. Army and U.S.M.C. countersnipers. Demonstrates an aspect of the Mohammedan mindset, like their sniping positions are in some parallel universe from which they can attack with impunity and not worry about taking fire in return. Like their actions have no consequence. In all likelihood, if it hasn't happened already, this individual will be recieving a thank-you note from those troops in the form of a 7.62 Win or .300 WinMag FMJ. Wonder if his buddies will want to film that and show it?

chrisb, your link demonstrates how much the "innocent Iraqis" care if our soldiers are shot. They walk by, like they are on a stroll, not lifting a finger to help a dying human being. The hell with all of them.

Interesting. When a nation starts using the internet as a weapon, I wonder what the possibility is for severing that nation from the internet? How many cables would need to be cut to isolate Iran, for example? No nation should have the right to clog up the internet, which is vital to our economy, with DoS attacks.

As I said in a previous posting....it's a really good idea to educate your enemies.

No cables need to be cut...just a few tweaks in the root servers that we control, and they are off the net.I'm tired of hearing how the younger generation make up the bulk of the "opposition" in Iran.Who do they think is doing all the hacking? It's definitely not the old sharia practicing folks over there! They need to be cut off as of yesterday.

The MSM fails to show the real activities of the global jihad. The dead on 9/11. Daniel Pearl's beheading. Nick Berg's beheading. Unseen. Vanished.

So we let the jihadists prozelytize freely (where are the Department of Defense hackers wiping out every terrorist site as they appear online?), and then we watch our own press and tv to censor our side of the battle. (Can't offend the enemy.)

The net is our main propaganda counter-measure.

Imperialistic Islam must be destroyed.

They can go bugger their favorite sheep in Mecca for a thousand years, but the fruits of Civilization are clearly too much for them to handle.

Repatriation once the WMD hits.

Before then, the p.c. pussyfooting cripples us.

Tapping my foot in the blood of those sacrificed to this tolerance for the intolerable.
