This news does not surprise me at all. Britain also does the same thing - sending Christians who have faced persecution in Pakistan for instance, right back to Pakistan, now to face even greater persecution.
In the meantime, Britain unhesitatingly grants asylum to muslims claiming persecution in muslim countries. Unbelievable.
I think the "gay" sex law is open to wide interpretation in Islamic law(maybe not in Iran, but I saw some innuendo that insinuated the clerics do it, who knows?). If I recall, it was okay as long as they don't feel actual sexual love(which kinda goes against the politically-correct view of Homosexuality). Kinda like penitentury inmates, it's just a matter of convenience.(the Sheiks get all the chicks).

But care should be taken before such deportation, to the genuine cases like the Pakistani Christians ,who really suffer in the hands if Muslims. Even in Iran,there are Iranian Christians,who suffer a lot. These Christians are there for ages.Such people will asimilate well with the local people,and are not trouble creators.But to differentiate the above cases with those of the "cheaters"is a tough job for the immigration departments.
The Mohammed Cartoon incident has opened the eyes of all Western nations.They prefer now to take immigrants from East Europen countries ,which has joined recently to the European Union. Granting asylum is the choice of the country involved.
Europe has been overwhelmed by phony asylum seekers for decades.
If they send back some who would really be endangered in their own country (for their sexual orientation, etc.) in the overal deportation (of a majority of would-be immigrants who were simply infiltrating the European nations) then that is a pity.
But, in that case, those gays, etc. who were denied asylum will be motivated to try to fix their own countries' problems, and not contribute to simply adding to the growing mess of the West.
Stay home. Oppose the enemy in your own land.
Fight, don't flee.
Just when I think I have seen all the barbarism of Islamic Iran that there is, I read stories like this one. But what is even worse is our cooperation with their repressive sharia.
Whether or not they can be fought on their own turf by their own citizens who know better is up for grabs, but one thing is for certain: we can fight their beliefs and lies here.

The Qur'an says: "If any of your women are guilty of lewdness... confine them... until death do claim them!" (4:15) But for males: "If two men among you commit indecency punish them both. If they repent and mend their ways, let them be. allah is Forgiving and Merciful." (4:16) LOL!
The same thing is happening in Britain, with the Home Office blandly saying that there is no evidence that any Christian converts, homosexuals, liberals, trades unionists, or even a poor girl who fled from an arranged marriage and was threatened with death in writing from her own father, would be in any danger at home, and that they are all "economic migrants". And of course there is no evidence. The mullahocracy buries the evidence.

I wish it were that simple. Holland is a signatory to the convention against torture and other such treaties. Under the doctrine of non-refoulement, Holland is violating international law repatriating an Iranian who is gay since Iran is killing its gays, or forcing gay sex changes on its gay population (sick, sick, sick - we don't want to be, and are not, women). Iran needs to be bombed day and night.
As for what is really behind the story, is the problem of proving/disproving an asylum claim. That's where the action is. The Dutch probably just don't believe it. The supposed "gay" claims might be going through the roof. Then again, maybe it is a real one. For such a person, there is no justice in the world. And the Dutch, having sent such a man to his certain death, are implicated at least in part.

I'm appalled at your stance. Before deporting converts from Islam, or gays, or others - some of whom may be genuine, why not first deport the genuine Muslims in these countries. Once that is done, then start the job of filtering out the genuine converts from the Taqqiyas.
Note that among Muslims, there are those who are genuinely repelled by what Islam preaches, and at great risks to themselves, have apostated. Why do you want to feed them back to the Mullahs? As it is, here on this site, we express a healthy scepticism about 'moderate' Muslims, and now we are going to extend that to those who recognize that the problem is Islam, and have courageously taken the step of renouncing it? Would you deport an Ali Sina to Iran? Ibn Warraq to Pakistan?
As for staying home and opposing the enemy in their own land, as profitsbeard suggests, that is asking these people to take on a suicidal course. Only way to do it is like the Lebanese Phalangists did for a long while, and even that was finally undone at Taif. While anyone who would have the courage to stay home and risk death is to be admired, why enforce that on others? Why not lend support to those who by abandoning Islam deprive the Jihadists of even the statistical backbone to claim what they claim - the 1.2, 1.4, 1.5b Muslims backing them?

It is almost a foregone conclusion that Christian civilians in virtually all Islamic countries will be routinely subjected to life-threatening riots, assaults,rapes and other forms of violence. For gays it is even worse--and you can forget about what Saudi Arabia does to the gays (you don't want to know).
Possibly there is grounds here for a lawsuit against the Dutch government which must know this is the case.
