I'm with the Texas Minutemen and am heading back out to the border 9 days one week from Saturday. I was there last October for 9 days, as well.

I have first hand knowledge, from 50 feet away (ie: right on our side of the Rio "Trickle"), of Mexican military, drug cartels, Grupos Beta (Mexican version of our Border Patrol..but they drive the illegals around to help them come across) and plenty of illegals..

We all know how real this is.. we must militarize our borders. For Middle Eastern terrorism alone, we must.

The job of apprehending terrorists and terrorism-affiliated individuals and organizations illegally entering the United States is NOT going to be made any easier by the millions of Latinos in the United States who are currently politically asserting themselves and attempting to intercede US legislative activity designed to thwart illegal immigration into the US (especially from Mexico). The estimated half-million demonstrators Hispanic demonstrators out in force in LA last weekend apparently have no idea what is going on with regards to global jihad-- and if they do, they clearly don't comprehend that combating jihad is EVERYONE'S problem.

The Hispanic population of the US must be made aware that the problem of jihadists freely traveling around the globe, setting up terrorist camps and the like, pose a major security risk--especially when illegal border crossings are permitted to spiral out of control as along the US/Mexico border.

The ignorance of the Latino population with regards to the nature of Islam as well as the devastating effects its jihads have had on much of the world and the current danger it poses to the non-Muslim nations will have to be addressed at some point in the near future.

We have no idea who has wandered into the country. If Mexican grandmas can make the passage,well trained terrorists certainly can. Mr. Bush has had 4 1/2 years of "war" in which to get a grip on the borders. He has not done so. Is it because he can't or because he won't. God bless America.

I have emailed and called both Texas senators multiple times.

Our borders are open and untold numbers of islamic terrorists with weapons including WMD's and nukes have probably crossed since 9/11.

Bush has a different agenda than the majority of Americans regradless of political party.

When the nukes go off in America, it would be justice that Washington, DC, got the first nuke.

The more that President Bush and way to many in Congress talk about islam and criminal invaders in American, it is apparent that neither are protecting America and Americans.

I can't help but notice that the only Senators that consistantly talk sense are hailing from Texas and California and other border states. Not all, but most. The rest of the country is so damn out-of-touch with what is going on in the South that it's mind-boggling.

Lack of control of your borders is like living with torn skin. You are open to all types of 'infection'.

Rationally, you would want to close the 'wound'.

But, thanks to the great numbers of invaders already 'allowed in' ...by corrupt businessmen (argriculture, landscaping, nanny services, building trades, etc.) and supine politicians ('paid off' by the aforementioned's lobbies), it is now apparently "impossible" to deport the people who have illegally entered the U.S.

And it is also supposedly "impossible" to control the borders effectively ...to prevent further tsunamis of invaders.

Even with the threat of nuke hitting an American city, most-likely through the work of an al-Qaeda group smuggled over the border, the political class cares more about votes from those who favor cheap illegal laborers. And the business class loves the quick fortunes to be made via this short-term-gain, long-term suicide-for-the-nation expediency. Whores, high and low.

I can only hope that the next attack hits D.C. when every politician is in town.

They deserve to inherit the whirlwind, themselves, for having sown the wind.

A pity nothing will be done until either a million corpses are glowing or rotting in the streets, or until the U.S. becomes part Nuevo Hispania, part Restored Caliphate, and then where will the surviving original freedom-loving Americans migrate to?

The first time the emplyer is penalizeg $10,000 for each illegal and the seocnd time they are jailed with out bail until after the trial and if found guilty, one year per illegal.

Inform those that are in America illegally that they have 30 days to leave with what ever they have earned for at day 31 all illegals will be rounded up and sent across the border with just the clothes on their backs. All monies, goods or properties will be forfeited as illegal gains made by criminal activity.

This is happening to America because our political and business leaders have forgotten our roots as a nation and gone whoring around the world with no consideration of the eventual impact on our nation itself. After years of selling us down the river with bad decisions politically and business wise they can’t undo what they helped set in motion. They let the Jinni out of the bottle and now the big guy doesn’t want to go back in, and they can’t make him go back. Now, what are YOU and I and our families going to do following that scenario?? There won’t be any government in control after that. After that day our nation will experience a desperate survival situation for several months. Many more people will die simply because our nation as a whole will be so utterly unprepared. ONLY those people who have made preparations (probably in spite of the PC comments by friends and possibly family, that you’ve “gone off the deep end”), will be able to calmly turn to the families on that day and say, “I have a plan, a safe place to go, and preparations, ready and waiting, lets go!” On my computer monitor I have motto written on a post-it, “Some people worry, others prepare”. Good preparation will prevent panic on that day, and you can’t afford to panic. It would probably mean the death of your family.

Call me a “Doomsayer” or whatever you want. All I know, is as a semi-old combat veteran, I can’t observe all that is happening today and see how as a nation we have pretty much locked ourselves into an out of control situation, without taking action. My actions as an individual probably can’t prevent the coming collision, but maybe I can do something to help rescue those who are nearest and dearest to me. There are many in America that will survive and carry the fight on.

It will be bloody for a while, but our military will take care of the outside threats.

Mexico better stay south of the Rio Grande or face the ultimate fate.

One shotgun (point and shoot weapon) (16 or 20 gauge) for each person age 10 and up and train them.
One pistol (9mm and 40 cal semi's) for each person age 14 and up and train them. Depending on maturity, younger children can be trained to use pistols.
One rifle (380 and 223 are very available rounds in semi's other calibers work also.) one for each person 10 and older.
I was taught how to use arms at 5 years of age and had my first weapon when I was 6.
The time will come when you have to decide if you can take the life of another human being. Remember, it is your family or the enemy in front of you…

If you are not ready, become ready for the war could start at any time.

The worse scenario in America? Being nuked then the military or UN forces try to take over America, declares marital law and tries to disarm Americans.

(a) Criminal penalties
(1)
(A) Any person who­
(i) knowing that a person is an alien, brings to or attempts to bring to the United States in any manner whatsoever such person at a place other than a designated port of entry or place other than as designated by the Commissioner, regardless of whether such alien has received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States and regardless of any future official action which may be taken with respect to such alien;
(ii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law;
(iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;
(iv) encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law; or
(v)
(I) engages in any conspiracy to commit any of the preceding acts, or
(II) aids or abets the commission of any of the preceding acts,
shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B).
(B) A person who violates subparagraph (A) shall, for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs­
(i) in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i) or (v)(I) or in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), or (iv) in which the offense was done for the purpose of commercial advantage or private financial gain, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both;
(ii) in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), (iv), or (v)(II), be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both;
(iii) in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) during and in relation to which the person causes serious bodily injury (as defined in section 1365 of title 18) to, or places in jeopardy the life of, any person, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both; and
(iv) in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) resulting in the death of any person, be punished by death or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, fined under title 18, or both.
(2) Any person who, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has not received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, brings to or attempts to bring to the United States in any manner whatsoever, such alien, regardless of any official action which may later be taken with respect to such alien shall, for each alien in respect to whom a violation of this paragraph occurs­
(A) be fined in accordance with title 18 or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; or
(B) in the case of­
(i) an offense committed with the intent or with reason to believe that the alien unlawfully brought into the United States will commit an offense against the United States or any State punishable by imprisonment for more than 1 year,
(ii) an offense done for the purpose of commercial advantage or private financial gain, or
(iii) an offense in which the alien is not upon arrival immediately brought and presented to an appropriate immigration officer at a designated port of entry,
be fined under title 18 and shall be imprisoned, in the case of a first or second violation of subparagraph (B)(iii), not more than 10 years, in the case of a first or second violation of subparagraph (B)(i) or (B)(ii), not less than 3 nor more than 10 years, and for any other violation, not less than 5 nor more than 15 years.
(3)
(A) Any person who, during any 12-month period, knowingly hires for employment at least 10 individuals with actual knowledge that the individuals are aliens described in subparagraph (B) shall be fined under title 18 or imprisoned for not more than 5 years, or both.
(B) An alien described in this subparagraph is an alien who­
(i) is an unauthorized alien (as defined in section 1324a (h)(3) of this title), and
(ii) has been brought into the United States in violation of this subsection.
(b) Seizure and forfeiture
(1) In general
Any conveyance, including any vessel, vehicle, or aircraft, that has been or is being used in the commission of a violation of subsection (a) of this section, the gross proceeds of such violation, and any property traceable to such conveyance or proceeds, shall be seized and subject to forfeiture.
(2) Applicable procedures
Seizures and forfeitures under this subsection shall be governed by the provisions of chapter 46 of title 18 relating to civil forfeitures, including section 981(d) of such title, except that such duties as are imposed upon the Secretary of the Treasury under the customs laws described in that section shall be performed by such officers, agents, and other persons as may be designated for that purpose by the Attorney General.
(3) Prima facie evidence in determinations of violations
In determining whether a violation of subsection (a) of this section has occurred, any of the following shall be prima facie evidence that an alien involved in the alleged violation had not received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States or that such alien had come to, entered, or remained in the United States in violation of law:
(A) Records of any judicial or administrative proceeding in which that alien’s status was an issue and in which it was determined that the alien had not received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States or that such alien had come to, entered, or remained in the United States in violation of law.
(B) Official records of the Service or of the Department of State showing that the alien had not received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States or that such alien had come to, entered, or remained in the United States in violation of law.
(C) Testimony, by an immigration officer having personal knowledge of the facts concerning that alien’s status, that the alien had not received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States or that such alien had come to, entered, or remained in the United States in violation of law.
(c) Authority to arrest
No officer or person shall have authority to make any arrests for a violation of any provision of this section except officers and employees of the Service designated by the Attorney General, either individually or as a member of a class, and all other officers whose duty it is to enforce criminal laws.
(d) Admissibility of videotaped witness testimony
Notwithstanding any provision of the Federal Rules of Evidence, the videotaped (or otherwise audiovisually preserved) deposition of a witness to a violation of subsection (a) of this section who has been deported or otherwise expelled from the United States, or is otherwise unable to testify, may be admitted into evidence in an action brought for that violation if the witness was available for cross examination and the deposition otherwise complies with the Federal Rules of Evidence.
