Five die in Afghanistan car ambush

From the Taipei Times:

Suspected Taliban insurgents ambushed an influential former governor in an Afghan city yesterday, shooting him dead along with his bodyguard and three others, police said.

Militants used AK-47 assault rifles to shoot at a car carrying the ex-governor, Taj Mohammed Qari Baba, near his home in eastern city of Ghazni, said Ali Ahmad, the chief of the provincial police force's criminal investigation department.

Two of the dead were relatives of the ex-governor and one was his driver, he said.

Muslims killing Muslims. This is becoming a daily story worldwide. Do Muslims have a problem with it? If so, I'm not hearing any loud condemnations from them. So what should I conclude from that? That Muslim life is cheap? Cheap even to Muslims themselves? And if that is the conclusion to be drawn, then what am I as an infidel to make of it? Wouldn't it be understandable if I came to the conclusion that I should also worry a tad less about Muslim deaths when those deaths occur at the hands of infidels like me trying to prevent us all from falling under the sway of this death cult? Because the lesson here is obviously that even if you ARE a Muslim, there is no hope. Noone cares even then if you are killed, and often in the most grisly manner imagineable. Obviously converting to Islam is no protection, is it? So explain to me, Mr Moderate Muslim Man - why in hell should an infidel like me EVER consider, in a million years, converting to your religion of "peace" as opposed to say, focusing my every energy as a human being, on wiping the scourge of your "religion" from the face of the earth?

Good point. If Muslims think that Muslim lives are cheap, who are we Infidels to assume otherwise?
