Security Council gave Iran 30 days to clear up suspicions that it is seeking nuclear weapons, and key members turned their focus on what to do if Iran refuses to suspend uranium enrichment and allow more intrusive inspections.Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived in Berlin on Thursday for discussions between the five permanent council members — the United States, Russia, China Britain and France — plus Germany, on how much and what kind of pressure to exert on Iran if it refuses to comply.
After three weeks of intense negotiations, the 15-member Security Council approved a statement Wednesday asking the U.N. nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency, to report back in 30 days on Iran's compliance with demands to stop enriching uranium.

Of course not. And there are a whole series of predictions at JW about "nothing" happening when it seemed that "something" would happen -- and every single one of them has been borne out by subsequent events. Go back and look through the archives at the coverage of Sudan, and Darfur, and whenever there was yet some new U.N. resolution or plan or discussion or something, the reminder that "nothing will come of this." Nothing ever did. Not in Darfur. And now not in eastern Chad, to which the Janjaweed have extended their reach.
And that famous agreement between the Arab Muslims in Khartoum, and the Christian and animist black Africans in southern Sudan? No stock was put in that "treaty" at Jihad Watch. For in Islam there is no permanent "peace treaty" with Infidels -- only a "truce treaty," a hudna, which you can break whenever you feel you are sufficiently strong, and the other side sufficiently weak. That "peace treaty" is now being broken in southern Sudan. Here and there, just enough not to have anyone get too alarmed. But enough to show who's boss.
Thanks to the Chinese & Russians, no "Or else". Which is what makes for an empty threat.
Time to make this a NATO only operation, like the one in Serbia 7 years ago. If Russia did nothing for Serbia militarily, they won't do anything this time around either.
Of course something will change in Iran because of this. What will be different after the end of these 30 days is that Iran will by 30 days FURTHER along in their pursuit of nuclear weapons than they are today.
Perhaps, the Iranians are less than 30 days from completion of a nuclear weapon. In which case, this additional time will give them the opportunity to finally obliterate Israel from the map before the next Security Council meeting. Isn't that the intention of the Security Council in the first place? To have the Iranians do what some of their members won't do themselves? And if the Iranians don't do it in this 30 day window then the Council will almost assuredly hand them another 30, 60 or 90 day window to finish the job.
The UN doesn't even bother hiding the fact that it is openly hostile to Israel and that it is pro-Islamic.
What will change because of the UN Resolution?
I would expect Iran to now change its tack, saying that western 'threats' like this require Iran to prepare a strong millitary defense...and suprise, suprise, Iran will now publicly switch efforts to millitary purposes of Atomic power.
"You made us do this..." will become the new Iranian rallying cry.
And in 30 days, the UN Security Council will give them another 30 days and then another 30 days until Iran attacks Israel with one or more Nukes and then Israel will retaliate across the ME with Nukes for self preservation.
A severely wounded Israel will use all weapons in its arsenal to destroy its enemies, Islam, and save the nation of Israel. WWIII.

Actually it is "Stockholm Syndrome". I'd be more worried if they have "China Syndrome", in danger of manifesting a meltdown at any time.

A tried and true method of obtaining info that has been used as long as there has been cigarettes is putting the cigarette out in and on various areas on the enemy.
