Pakistan: President tells terrorists to leave

Only the foreign ones. What about the native Pakistani "militants"? "President tells terrorists to leave," from the TimesOnline, with thanks to Jihad Watch News Editor Rebecca Bynum:

President Musharraf of Pakistan, speaking in Lahore at a rally of about 80,000 people to mark the 100th anniversary of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League, ordered all foreign militants to leave the country. Tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan is mounting over allegations that President Musharraf is not doing enough to prevent Taleban and alQaeda forces from launching cross-border attacks from within Pakistan. “All foreign militants should leave Pakistan, otherwise they would be crushed,” the President said. “I will not tolerate the presence of these terrorists.”

...whereupon most of his government got up and walked out.

Wow, all you have to do is ask them nicely. Who knew? Please, settle down and use your indoor voice. There, I saved the world. No more islamic jihadi nutjobs will act out today. So this is what peace feels like. Ugggghhhh, you would think I would learn, first coffee then post.

Ah yes, our "staunch ally" Musharraf. I'm sure after hearing this news Mansour Ijaz is now penning an article for the NRO about how tough Musharraf is on terrorism and CNN has called him up for a softball interview. But of course, Musharraf is doing thise because he opposes "terrorism" and not because it will give him and Pakistan good PR and possibly a little more foregin and military aid in the future. I wouldn't want to question his sincerity.

TRUTH 4U,

Please confirm that your above post is NOT a joke.
Has OBL been captured?

It's a joke.

When pigs fly.

Yes, if they leave now there is still the chance they can make the summer sessions at Yale.

Ha! Ha! Good one, JanuaryMan.

I'm not sure this is good news. They'll simply return to the UK where they were born announcing that their rights as "British citizens" have been violated.

leave or you will be crushed? like,i wonder what crushed terrorist tastes like?I could implement them into my juicing regime as part of a healthy diet. If it tasted ok i could make it a global business,"jihad juice..its da bomb!"

"...whereupon most of his government got up and walked out..."

Its not all bad: First he admitted that there are foreign terrorists.
He could do what Mohammedans normally do: Deny it, lie about it, deflect from it...

Then he told them to get out. As a result, his government walked out on him....

If Mushi survives this we might soon see him and his clan as asylum seekers in the US of A.

President Musharraf ... of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League, ordered all foreign militants to leave the country.

Wait. You do that Mushie and a large part of the Pakistani Army and Air Force will have to march north, including many senior officers.

It's always a comforting thought when Moslems wear uniforms. Especially when they have nukes. With allies like Pakistan, who needs enemies?

ROFL

Good one Robert!!

I'd have waited until April 1 to post this.

for all you know, Laden must have been hidden in a safe place in Pakistan, on the express orders of Musharraf. If Laden is caught, does USA need Musharrraf any more? It is, therefore, in Musharraf's interest that OBL is never captured alive or dead.
