This story seems to have been written before the charges were dropped, but it adds yet another justification to the growing list. Now apparently we are to believe that the Afghans have decided to forget about killing Abdul Rahman because of [1] lack of evidence, because he is insane, and because he may not be Afghan at all. They might end up with too much evidence if they don't just start keeping quiet about this matter.
