KABUL, Afghanistan - A suicide car bomb exploded Sunday into the convoy of an Afghan politician leading reconciliation efforts with the Taliban militia, injuring him and killing four other people.Sibghatullah Mujaddedi, the head of the upper house of the Afghan Parliament, said he suffered burns to his hands and face from the blast in Afghanistan's capital, Kabul.
The two attackers and two bystanders were killed when a station wagon exploded close to Mujaddedi's vehicle, police said. Five others were hurt...
Sometimes this site seems so eager to trumpet the leftist Media's desire to depict Iraq and Afghanistan in such a bad light -- it makes me wonder...
It isn't the site, jsla, but Islam itself. Iraq and Afghanistan are now creating terroist in droves mainly cause their are way too much testerone and uneducated people there. They are all following a religion that was created around an ancient moon god, Allah, which requires a screwed up blood sacrificing belief system that is so far into anti-progress, and anyone who doesn't share their belief, that they can't see how stupid they are.
Personally, I am into shipping all the muslims back to where they came from and stop Islam from being practiced in the states forever. If the rest of the world want to play pattycake with these screwed up, violent blood lusting barbarians.. they can. But they shouldn't drag us into it.
Reconciliation?
That makes as much sense with the Taliban as letting Abu Hamza work as a massage therapist.
The Taliban can either give up their theological terrorist war, or die in the mad effort.
Coming up against Civilization, they are trying to take a bite of a chainsaw sandwich.
Pretending it is the taste of victory.
When it is only ironic lunacy.
