Do most of today's Muslim scholars accept Jalalu'd-Din as-Syuti's chronological sequence for the Qur'an suras? Or are there different major Muslim schools of thought arguing for different chronological orders of the suras?

When the Parti Quebecois promoted passage of a law to favor the admission of francophone immigrants (or, as it turned out, immigrants from countries deemed partly francophone, for their command of French in many cases was shaky) it did the following:

1. Favored maghrebins -- Muslims from North African countries (Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia) over, say, immigrants from Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, and Ecuador. This has led to Montreal's large Arab population, and to the security problems, and expense of monitoring that population, that no one anticipated.

2. Created an atmosphere alarming to non-Muslim immigrants who had the greatest familiarity with Islam, including a large Maronite community and other Christians from the Middle East.

3. Created for itself conditions which, by favoring this maghrebin migration, not only has lead to greater expense and physical insecurirty for Canadians, but that must constantly worry Canadian authories for another reason. For should there be attacks by Muslims who have been allowed into Canada, and their tasks made easier by the Quebecois policy of favoring, without any further distinction, francophone immigrants, the reaction will be harsh. It is possible that security measures will be ever-tighter at the border, that this will make such trade more expensive and less efficient, that tourism will fall as well. And just imagine were there to be an attack on American tourists, by one or more of those beneficiaries of this "francophone first" policy, in Montreal or elsewhere in the Province of Quebec.

The millennium bomber, caught with a car full of hidden explosives, came from Algeria, had been living in Montreal, and was stopped by an alert border guard in Washington State. But what if such an attack had gone off? What would have been the economic consequences to Canada?

4. The uncontrolled and possibly uncontrollable Muslim presence in France and Belgium has caused a number of those most immediately affected, or those who have been the keenest to see what is happening in France, might naturally go to Quebec, and they would be exactly the kind of new immigrants, not least for cultural reasons, Quebec, and Canada, should wish to welcome. The writer Maurice Dantec, who has left France and is now living in Quebec, is one well-known example. French Jews who are reported to be more than uneasy might still move ot Quebec, but the large-scale presence of Muslims might dissuade them. Is this something that the government of Quebec has thought about?

5. The policy of favoring immigrants from francophone countries fails to consider the nature of Islam. The abyss between Believer and Infidel is neither imaginary nor the product of any particular behavior on the part of those Infidels. It is mandated by Islam itself. To the extent that someone presently called a Muslim takes the tenets of Islam seriously, or by that very act of calling himself a Muslim leaves himself, and his descendants, open to that possibility, he will be a threat to Infidels. This should not surprise. What should surprise is the continued willingness of others not to take Islam's teachings seriiously, not to investigate them, not to study how non-Muslims have been treated over 1350 years of history, and from Spain to East Asia. The record does more than disquiet.

When the government of Quebec instituted the policy of favoring francophone immigrants, it did not consider, was not even thinking about, that larger gulf between Believer and Infidel that is permanent, and more than a matter of nouns and verbs. It was not thinking of the safety of its own citizens being endangered, much less of what might happen if through such a policy an environment unfriendly to American tourists and trade might be created. It was thinking only of anglophone Canada, and how to discourage immigrants -- from Italy or Greece or Portugal -- who might prefer to have their children learn, and use, English. If one insists, by fiat French can be protected, but that protection should no longer include a policy that in far greater ways, undoes the very thing it was expected to do -- threatens Quebec, and its cultural and civilizational coherence, far beyond whatever would-be speakers of English among its non-Musilm immigrants might cause.

5. And there is one more thing. The Province of Quebec has its own immigration policy at present. That policy does not, however, threaten only Quebec. For those immigrants, once they have been admitted to Quebec, then become citizens not of the province, but of Canada itself. And they can move freely anywhere in Canada. Thus does an immigration policy fashioned for reasons of Quebec nationalism threeaten the safety of Canadaians in Albgerta, or in British Columbia. Should this not be a matter for all Canadians to discuss? Surely anglophone Canada could exempt from general attack the favoring of francophone immigrants, while insisting that francophone immigrants form the Maghreb not be part of that program. But what would it take to even begin to discuss this kind of thing?

It would take a willingness, by some, to start discussing the tenets of Islam, the texts of Islam, the history of Islamic conquest and subjugation of non-Muslims. Can the Western world, can Canada, allow itself what is apparently the most unreasonable, and most unheard-of, thing conceivable -- to examine, analyze, and then to act based on that examination and that analysis, of Islam, its tents, and the observable behavior, and attitudes, of Muslims around the world, beginning with those now resident in France, in Italy, in England, in Belgium, in Holland, in Germany, in Denmark, in Sweden, in Norway? Or shall we keep pretending that everything we can see for ourselves does not mean what it must mean. Is this how governments in the Western world, with a duty to instruct and protect their citizens, should behave?

And does not the governmentr of Quebec have a duty not only to its own citizens, but to those fellow Canadians outside of Quebec who had nothing to do with this policy of favoring francophone immigrants which so far has tended to favor the Maghrebins, a policy which, in its application, threatens their interests, and them?

The saying "be careful what you wish for, for you may just get it". The Quebec government in its zeal for keeping the French language alive have allowed the enemy to come within its borders, and now Canada's and the US. These so called French speaking muslims are destroying that province with increased spending in welfare etc. Also we cannot only look at this, Canada being part of the British Commonwealth have let in without checks and balances muslims from Pakistan etc. which are now proving how dangerous these terrorist are in our midst! What you have above is only the tip of the iceburg!

CAIR Canada has held up Maher Arar as the poster-boy for Islamophobia and anti-muslim bias in the post 9/11 era , Mr.Arar was coached by the CAIR Lawyer to avoid assisting the RCMP and CSIS or any local Police for any investigation to possible terrorism or terror cells operating in Canada.
Because of this advice Arar caused his on plight by fleeing Canada with his wife and kids just after he was asked to assist in a Ottawa Mosque having a terror cell, Arar claimed refugee status in Canada but still returned to the Mideast he fled from to get protection in Canada,CAIR has failed to tell the whole truth about WHY Arar was denied entry to the USA when he arrived at JFK P.O.E. (Point Of Entry) by himself on a flight from Tunisia .
Arar never renounced his Syrian Citizenship and was travelling on a Canadian Passport which is popular with Islamists on a Jihad mission to Western Nations , ironically , CAIR flaunted the facts that the 9/11 Muslims weren't from America and the Nation security and Immigration services were to blame for letting them in the Country and letting they stay .

Now put yourself in the position of the Customs officer and the Immigration and FBI staff .

A plane lands from Tunisia at JFK and a young/Syrian/male/Muslem ,travelling alone, tries to enter the USA and a judgement call must be made for further questioning to approve entry.
Arar is taken aside and treated according to the Laws for non-Citizens that aren't officially on US soil as "landed" to be covered by the Alien or Tourist status for visitors ,Arar reveals he is returning to Canada alone from Tunisia because his "Airmiles-Plan" forced him to return via JFK via Tunisia .
Keep in mind that Canada does not have a Exit program for who leaves the Country and the RCMP gave up on interviewing Arar based on CAIR's demands to have a Lawyer present to hear all the question and coach Arar on his Rights to refuse to answer , with this in place and the fact that it's now about 1-AM. the US tries to contact Canada to validate the Pasport and Arar's status.
But , the RCMP thinks Arar is still in Ottawa or somewhere in Canada , and confirmation is vague with little knowledge of where Arar is at that hour and how CAIR will react to this harassment of a Muslim at 1am. .

What followed was denial of entry to the USA and the rules allow for the return on the next flight to the Airport of departure prior to arriving at JFK , Tunisia refused Arar's return since he only caught a flight from their Airport and didn't want responsibilty for him if he wants to stay in Tunisia . The US security departments could only manage to get Jordan to agree to let him land there to re-unite with his family to get back to Canada (If that was his plan) , Arar has asserted he was treated very well by the men escorting him on a taxpayer funded jet to get him to Jordan and he was fed during the flight .

After he arrived in Jordan he was kidnapped by Arabs and taken to a detention cell after a long drive in a SUV style truck .

CAIR Canada continues to post claims of Islamophobia and racial profiling against Arar , CAIR also sticks to only telling Muslims and the media about Arar's plight as a Canadian that wasn't allowed to enter Canada from a USA Airport connecting flight.

Here are the lies from CAIR that get used to prop up the myth of Islamophobia .

- Arar was a victim of American racism and profiling
- he was detained and refused a lawyer to contact the Canadian Government services
- Arar was sent to Syria to be tortured on behalf of the USA to get confession of guilt in terrorism connections
- Arar was a Canadian for 15 years ( he was actually in canada 15 years and only got his Citizenship after about 4 years on welfare as a refugee)and had Canadian children ( Arar married a fellow Muslim foreign student and had kids to assure the stay in canada as many scam artists do) .
- Canada refused to assist him while being torture in a Syrian jail for about 11 months ( actually there was little evidence of it and CAIR loves to claim that people are innocent until proven guilty , unless it suits their agenda for propaganda against the Infidels and people of the book ) .
- Arar's wife stood by him and crusaded for his release and a Government inquiry ( actually , she knew he was returning to canada via Tunisia and JFK while being left with the children after fleeing Canada when the RCMP want to talk to him )to get the truth about the USA contracting out torture ( she really followed CAIR's advice to sue the USA , but when that failed the CAIR lawyer launched a $400,000,000 dollar civil suit
against Canadians and the Government for the unproven torture and suffering)
- Arar had suffered mentally from this horrific ordeal ( CAIR actually created this mess and they held a press conference just weeks after Arar returned and he gave a very detailed scripted account of the events which he read from a series of papers and never once broke down or had flashbacks as many REAl victims have).
- This is just another example of the injustice to Muslims in the West in the post 9/11 era ( the truth is that Stats/canada evidence on their website shows that jews and their places of worship or dwellings showed the largest increase of hate-crimes and vandalism , this I attribute to the lie that jews were behind 9/11 since 4000 didn't go to work that day at the WTC)
-Arar was deported to Syria for torture( Tunisia refused to take him back and he was sent to JORDAN wher Arabs took him to be tortured, not the USA as CAIR claims)

All of this was revealed at the inquiry which the CAIR witnesses were being lead by their lawyers to only answer their question that painted a false history of the actual event.
I'm no fool ,and after my own research it bacame very clear that CAIR-canada is a wing of the US version that wants to impose Islam by proxy with endless sensitivity training based on bogus Islamophobia hate crimes and vandalism by these rednecks that never seem to be arrested or caught on video to prove their guilt.

CAIR posted a act of Islamophobia when a Muslem home was firebombed and children were kiiled in the blaze, but this week the media reported that the man behind the attack was known to the mother and was from the middle east and hired two thugs to kill her over a domestic issue.
This story was portrayed as a hate-crime by redneck non-Muslims , and CAIR is exploiting our privacy laws that protect the accused from being tied in the media by false claims or non-essential evidence that can predijuce at trial.
The CAIR lawyers know how to present a negative statement that can't be proved and ergo...gets perceived as the truth since it hasn't been denied by the accused , this is much like the tabloids that smear a person with a story that they slept with a 8 year old and leave out the whole truth that it was their sister and he was 7 and the time and it was while camping and had to share a air mattress and sleeping bag.

The fact that CAIR fails to denounce the actual Terroists for claiming to be Muslims , speaks volumes about tolerating this Jihad for Allah
and their silence on many crime by muslims is absolutely deafening.

BTW, today in downtown Toronto a coffee shop was bombed by a person that was killed in the explosion , but the media and Police have put a spin on it and claim a customer smelt gasoline in the washroom and run out just befor the explosion.
Right...lots of people take gasoline into washrooms and enjoy a cigarette while expunging toxic waste .
Every time a cover-up happens it usual shows up later on the the criminal had ties to terrorism or foreign gangs terrorizing immigrant for money, this type of bombing happened in Hamilton and once a person was caught and they found bomb material at his home the media and Police beried the story and never released the name of the bomber.

If it had been a klansman, biker, redneck or any-denominational Christian this event would have been etched into the world's conscience.

Interesting link. I did not know that about Lepine. There is a day of remembrance every Dec. 6 in Canada due to that event, though, so it has not vanished from history yet (at least, in Canada).
