A BRITISH Muslim convert has emerged as successor to Omar Bakri Mohammad as the leader of a radical group that wants Britain ruled by Islamic law.The Times has obtained transcripts of Omar Brooks, now known as Abu Izzadeen, preaching holy war and discussing killing Tony Blair in a recent sermon in London. Abu Izzadeen had previously described the July 7 bombings as “completely praiseworthy” and organised demonstrations in support of the September 11 hijackers.
His organisation, the Saved Sect, was formed from the remnants of the disbanded extremist group al-Muhajiroun, which the Government intended to proscribe. However, it is not on the Home Office’s list of 40 banned terrorist organisations, and a spokeswoman refused to comment on whether it could be outlawed....
Abu Izzadeen, 31, was born into a Christian family of Jamaican origin, in Hackney, East London, and was known as Trevor to some acquaintances. He converted to Islam at the age of 17 and is believed to have become involved with Bakri at Finsbury Park mosque in the late 1990s.
Before he was fully radicalised, Abu Izzadeen trained and worked as an electrician. He eventually chose a new name, which means “Might of the Faith” in Arabic, and immersed himself in his new religion.
He married and now lives in Leyton, East London, with his wife and three young children....
The Saved Sect, also known as the Saviour Sect, rejects democracy and wants Britain to adopt Sharia, or Islamic law. It believes that it is the only group representing the true Islamic path, but has links with another al-Muhajiroun successor, al-Ghurabaa, whose leader was arrested during extremist protests against the publication of cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad.
In lectures given last month at an unknown London location, Abu Izzadeen said that a war was being fought to make Islamic law “completely dominant” in Britain, and that “all Jews and Christians are going to hell fire”.
He also praised Mullah Omar, the Taleban leader, saying: “This man is a winner.” His lectures, entitled The Christian Crusades parts 1 and 2, describe conflict in the Middle East and Britain as a present-day crusade.

I'm pleased that Abu Izzadeen - "Trevor" is back on the radar after being somewhat quiet since his glorification of the 7/7 bombers on BBC Newsnight last summer. This man is so twisted by what he has defined as a true "religion" he thinks his hate is holy. Trevor is a psychopath. He needs to be detained for his own protection and medicated severely to rid him of his demonic delusions, like his fellow suffering idiot companion Robert Reid - the attempted Shoe Bomber.
If the evidence is clear and I don’t doubt that it is then soft lad will be hearing a bang on the door pretty soon.
It’s nice to see a typical British understatement: - "The Crown Prosecution Service has not ruled out charges against Abu Izzadeen, which may include solicitation to murder and withholding information about acts of terrorism."
Time to consider quarantine. Cut Islam off from the world, deny entry and abode to them until they purge their ranks of Jihad and Sharia.

I went to that site and have read the testimony of the neo-nazi convert to islam (not much of a change there). Let me comment on some of his testimony:

Well let's see, maybe it's because now you could exact your anger and violence on non-muslims, especially JEWS, with the "authority" of "god." Going from neo-nazi to a jihadist shouting muslim is not a huge leap at all.

What is it about this religion that turns the converts into hate filled psychopaths? No other religion preaches hatred, which proves that this is not really a religion. They take mentally disturbed people who they know can be brain washed and turn them into violent criminals. Come on islam, time to grow up and take a serious look at the creator of your "religion". You don't allow people to question islam because you know it will not stand up to scrutiny.
Yes. Moreover, the "shoe-bomber" Richard Reid's father was Jamaican. Not all Britons of West Indian descent are successfully integrated and that seems to apply to Jamaicans in particular - not necessarily through their own fault, of course, and I mean that as no blanket criticism of them. One suspects that the Islamists are aware of that and deliberately target West Indians. I suppose they would play on feelings they might hope someone like the now lost Trevor would have of being an outsider, because of his colour. Someone should tell Trevor about what Muslims have done, and are doing, to blacks in Sudan. But I doubt by now anyone could get through to him. I suppose Trevor is gone and replaced by "Abu Izzadeen". No more beer or football or music, a hate-filled heart instead. His poor family must be deeply grieved.

This revert to islam was probally never a christian, you are not born one. Born again by accepting christ, but a child is not christian because the family is.

Yojimbo, I suspect that the widespread gang culture of Jamaica may have something to do with it. Jamaica is considered one of the most violent countries in the world, with police and gangsters regularly staging gunfights. If violence and machismo are part of your social identity, I do not doubt that Islam will sound more convincing than the religion of the Crucified God.

Also, West Indians & Asians grow up together on council housing estates. They share an 'ethnic' affinity, and though a small number of blacks might be attracted by Mohummedan militancy, a far greater number (probably the vast majority) of young Asian's try to ingratiate themselves with 'black' subculture. Then there's the prison statistics, role models such as Malcom X and Mohammed Ali etc. In general though it's more a case of the Asian youth aspiring to be more 'black' than the other way round.
