As Tel Aviv is Rocked, Former Democratic Senator Blames Zionists

Shameful dhimmitude reported by Gateway Pundit (thanks to Teri):

As 9 lay dead from a Tel Aviv homicide bomber today, Former Democratic Senator James George Abourezk speaks of "Freedom Fighters" and the "Evils of Zionism"!

The Former Democratic Senator says... "There is nothing left for them to do except to commit acts of terrorism." Unbelievable!

Former Democratic Senator Jim Abourezk on Bush's "Unparalleled Mendacity" and the "Complete Sell Out" of the Democrats as reported today at CounterPunch and Democracy Rising:

To stop the occupation, one must put an end to the incentives provided to Israel that keep them occupying. Those incentives are the financial and political support provided to that occupation by the United States Congress and president, and the radical Zionists throughout the country. When American taxpayers' money stops flowing to Israel, Israel will stop the occupation and pull back inside the 1967 borders, which will put an end to the conflict there. I am realistic enough to know that, because the Congress is pretty much reliant on money from radical Zionists, stopping the flow of American taxpayers' money to Israel will not come soon. But the sooner it does end, the sooner the violence will stop.

Read it all.

Abourezk (Abu Rizk) for some reason decided not to identify with his Lebanese Christian parents or grandparents who left the Middle East (from present-day Lebanon or Syria; their cards of identity or passports may well have listed them, if it was during the days of the Ottoman Empire, as "turcos"), but rather chose to embrace the anti-Israel views of those islamochristians who, in the desperate circumstances of the Middle East, may feel compelled to parrot, and then to internalize, the Islamic agenda, usually through identifying the speaking of Arabic with being an Arab (in the case of Copts and Maronites, clearly false, though an idea that Muslim Arabs constantly push), and then being an Arab with promoting, or defending, or both defending and promoting, the Muslim world-view and program. And that world-view, that program, includes the Lesser Jihad against Israel.

Charles Malik would have made mincemeat of James Abourezk. The former Senator is simply a verison of Hanan Ashrawi or Naim Ateek. He should be treated with contempot -- above all, treated with contempt by Maronites and by Copts who have endured as peoples within Muslim states what the Israel endures as a state. To wit, the inability of the Muslims to contemplate the permanent equality, either in a state of their own, or within states with Muslim majorities, of non-Muslims. It is the same problem, with the same animating texts, but with different victims.

This is something the deplorable Abourezk would not dare to investigate. He doesn't wish to find out about the way in which the Christians of Lebanon, whose existence predates the invasion of the area by Arab Muslims, managed to survie against all odds. Nor does he seem at all worried about the Muslim invasion of Western Europe or even of North America, which only brings to these shores what Lebanese and Copts and Assyrians and other Middle Eastern Christians thought they were leaving behind, when they left behind the Muslims of the Middle East. Abourezk understands none of this.

Abu Rizk isn't much like another Lebanese who came to America, Salom Rizk author of Syrian Yankee, who had friendly relations with Zionists.

It's also interesting that James Abourezk grew up on an American Indian reservation, where his family had a business. Funny. It sounds like his family were white settlers on land of the indigenous people.

Hence the reason why Muslims always fail in politics in Western Countries, their positions are always based on bigotry and on spreading evil and so are totally unacceptable in the civilized world.
