They won't get to control the ports, but the President is making sure to give them a consolation prize. From AP, with thanks to Fake, who comments: "Why are Dubai companies trying to take over various security and military operations? How about buying an ice cream company instead?"
Of course, there are precedents for an ice cream jihad as well.
WASHINGTON (April 28) - President Bush on Friday approved a deal for a Dubai-owned company to take control of some U.S. plants that manufacture parts for American military contractors.Initial reactions from Congress indicated that there would not be the opposition to the deal that prevented another Dubai-based company from taking over operations of several U.S. ports.
"This was a transaction that was thoroughly reviewed and closely scrutinized," White House press secretary Scott McClellan said in confirming the deal. "In the view of the committee, it does not compromise our national security."
As a condition of the president's approval, the company signed an agreement that promised an uninterrupted supply, McClellan said. The White House was in the process of informing key members of Congress of the president's decision.
House leadership aides, speaking on condition of anonymity, said lawmakers from both parties on the relevant committees had been briefed on the deal, and had agreed that necessary safeguards were in effect. They said there had been numerous contacts with the administration.
I hope so. Still, I can't help but think this is unwise. Even one mujahid in the right place could do a great deal of damage.
Well at least now the Arabs can't put full blame on the US for killing innocent people. Now the Arabs get richer every time we kill one of them. I think this works out great for them, their faith prevents peace and they profit from wars. What a bunch of stupid hypocrites. After their oil runs out, war will be the only way to feel their families.
The good news: The referred site conducted a poll with the following two questions. Here they are
Despite the apparent initial acquiescence of Congress to this deal, this sort of a reaction, duely magnified, will ultimately see this deal down as well.
Don't grant such contracts to Muslims. How dense does everyone involved in this have to be?
God,gorgie is stupid. The government is gunna destroy us all.
We all need to start stocking up on our 2nd amendment right's,we sure cant count on goergie and company to protect us.

Does anyone want to join in my little office poll I have going to determine when Dubai will buy and take over operations of Guantanamo Bay? What else is for sale Goergie? God what a bunch of Stupid Hypocrites!
I'll bet you Bill Reilly will support this too, just like the ports deal! Liberals are right, he is an asshole.
Does anyone want to join in my little office poll I have going to determine when Dubai will buy and take over operations of Guantanamo Bay?
they probably already did.Whats next?gunna take over the secret service, their just concerned about bush's safety. On Monday during the day with ought immigrants protest, they are concerned about the White Houses lawn, and will temporally
ride the mowers.
Wow! I've got to admire President Bush for being so ..... er .... er ....can't find the words to describe it.
This is like asking the fox to guard your chickens.
Lets not also forget that even with the lower risk, its still just another Dubai company taking american dollars to donate towards the Jihad...This deal sucks as it is..
Treasonous?
Lets not also forget that even with the lower risk, its still just another Dubai company taking american dollars to donate towards the Jihad
not to mention the possibility for shi*** work on our parts for our tanks, only american troops lives depend on them to work,no biggie.
Why is he so dam hell bent on undermining American security?Does he think they will give him sanctuary when then come in?Their gunna through him a big old feast,in his honor.Their gunna use his head for the salad bowl. But not before they force him to watch bin ladin havein his way with laura.
"But not before they force him to watch bin ladin having his way with laura"-patriot4
Laura is too old for Bin Laden; Bin Laden needs to find himself a 6 year senator’s daughter (or son) to play with.
Good news the word is out on CNN already!, Its never going to pass!
sounds like it is,i dont here anybody in government opposed to it.How in the hell can you say we cant sell ya a port, but hey why dont ya build our military some of the parts we need.
If our government is this stupid, over and over again, were gunna be toast as a country. How can we fight if we don't control our military suppliers. After all that hard work, and untold millions of lives it took to make, and keep this country. We elect a government like this,to just give it all away.
This transaction and the port deal do not stand alone as economic transactions. These are deals that have been promised to Dubai for something, and only the President, the State Department and Dubai know what that is.
I said when the Port deal was crashing that Dubai would get something else from the President real soon. Now we see it. We may see one or two more of these real quickly, also.
This may be the promise for something or this may be a way to create a transaction close the deal and never collect the money or cause the loan to be paid, in affect an open bribed payoff.
Yes,goergie has made a deal with the devil. His dad faught for this country and saved the world, for nothin.
To all the people who think that George "Islam-is-a-beautiful-religion Bush is a qualified jihad fighter, this proves otherwise. In fact, it may prove that he is a double agent. I don't know if John "My-wife-wears-the-pants" Kerry would have been any better, but it is hard to imagine him being much worse. Maybe we should just let Michael "I-hate-America" Moore be president. It would appear that, in the end, Bush, Moore, McCain, Kerry, in the grand scheme of things, are all about the same. None of them get it.
In fact, there is not one person on the political scene, presidential hopeful or not, that has espoused a tough line on islam. Not one. When even a so-called cowboy from Texas like Bush rules like a Dhimmi, it makes you wonder who will fight Islam. Anybody?
Basically, the inertia in fighting this scourage is rooted in the Elite's perception that little brown men in pajamas are not to be taken too seriously. If they were blond with arm bands and shiny black boots, everybody in Washington would be going ballistic over their rhetoric and behaviour. But, being brown men in white rags, the elite, both Left and Right, assume they are just irascible, down-trodden clowns.
Evidently, the Nazis' mistake was that they dressed up to go to work. Perhaps if they had gone on the warpath in filthy pajamas and sandals, the Elite would have cut them more slack, too.

we still got awhile before bush is out,its gunna be a hell of a ride. He's giving them a direct source to our military suppliers.Ya they supposable signed an agreement saying we will get a steady supply of parts.Well, gee we go to war(the real war against islam)like their still gunna honor that.Next bush will give them the company that makes the paint for stealth planes. They will"promise not to tell the secret recipe".
President Bush, just where does your loyalities lay????
Does not appear to be with America and Americans...
Prepare.
Be armed.
Be ready.

Freedom, the only choice at any cost and it looks like the cost will be immense.
Ah! But King George however says it’s bad to sing the National Anthem in Spanish!
However he loves the Arabic version!
kind of ironic,we fought a George(King George)to be free,and now a George(gorge bush)is gunna be the end of us.

There is only one person in the entire media that tells it like it is,the pure, unaltered, naked truth....Michael Savage.
President Bush seems to be either too politically correct or too opaque.
There is no other explanation for this unbelievable blindness...or is he arogant,is he crazy,is he an ocult liberal??!!
Who knows...
Either way we are in trouble.
I voted for him twice and i still think was the better of the two,but a few more deals such as this one or the amensty for illegal aliens, and he`ll end up as the worst president in the hystory of the US,along with Jimmy Carter.
adela, I second your post. I too voted for him twice and he broke my heart, but not my spirit. Now I'm pissed. For sure we can do better and I'm hoping we have enough time. The west is made from good stock and I believe we'll get through this, but not unscathed.
Whatever else this sale may mean, it has great symbolic importance. If it goes through, it means we are not deeply distrustful of all investments by Muslim Arabs. We should be deeply distrustful. They should be made to feel our deep distrust, again and again. When they send their children here to be educated, when they come for medical care or shopping sprees, they should sense that things are not as they once were, and never can be again. The feeling of suspicion and hostility should be overlaid, possibly, with the same kind of fake amiability that Muslims are past masters at, in their dealings with Infidels. This deal is a terrible idea. It shows that Bush, whom one keeps thinking cannot quite be so stupid, must in fact have something, anything, up his sleeve, does not recognize the need not only to be hostile but to create a climate of hostility suitable to wartime conditions -- the same kind of hostility that was routine during the Cold War and during World War II, and World War I.
This deal signals that Muslims can be trusted to own even militay plants, or plants producing things that are components in military equipment. This is not the signal to be sent, either to Muslims, or more importantly, to Americans.
It will be wildly unpopular. And those who support it should expect to suffer. And they deserve to suffer for not being opposed to such a misconceived move.
Tonight, when I go to sleep I know damn well we've been sold out. Cowards all, who have done this. Correct information, thru this site and others like it will save the west. God Bless ya Spencer, Hugh, and all who show courage here.
The president’s tone deafness is only exceeded by the senate’s.
They need an earphone so they can hear us, and not just on this issue.
The Ukrainian Orange Revolution comes to mind. Tens of millions of the silent majority in the street, waving orange flags and demanding resignations of the tone-deaf; if they cannot hear us, they are unfit to govern.
It worked for the Ukrainians.
www.benfrank.net/nuke/lesson_from_ukraine.html
But I should note that there are a lot of kooks that want to do the same thing, e.g., La Raza, ANSWER, etc. Benfrank is certainly one of them, but there are some good pics on that page.
HERE WE GO AGAIN!
We must stop this. and I agree that Bill O'Reilly will support this too.
As much as I like his stance on social issues, he is totally wrong about Islam.
I knew all along the Bush Boy would sell out to Arab interest the way his father did. ( Invade Iraq but leave Saddam in power. He was just doing the bidding of the House Of Saud. ) But I also knew the American people , even the most decieved, would eventually see through him.
My convection has been reaffirmed. The American working class, the most influencial group of people in the entire history of mankind will assert it's will and act in it's interest.
The Islamic deception will go like a puff of smoke before the might of the American working class that will cast aside all that is in it's way.
Whom ever takes over as President in 2008 will have a hard road ahead. The Bush Boy will not do jack about North Korea , keep us bogged down in Afghanistan and Iraq with proven ass backwards failed stratagies of crushing an insurgency and will avoid at all cost a confrontation with Iran, when in fact that country should have been pounced on right after Afghanistan.
These failed areas will have to be rectified if we are to win any War On Terrorism. I am confident that the will of the American people will ensure that they are.

I've been supportive of the GOP, but I agree with boxter. I'll go a step further and say that the President is a traitor. Once he leaves office, he should be tried on treason charges, court martialed, and then given 50 lashes.
Wahabi style.
As for the GOP, while I don't relish the idea of them losing, since there's no indication that the Dems get it either, I can't help but agree. If the GOP wins, no matter who from the GOP wins, it will be seen as a victory for the Bushies.
Something we don't need.

In the past I have said that Bush was not stupid at all. I have said that he stands in front of the mirror for hours practicing looking stupid. And he reherses saying stupid things...all to confuse and confound the enemy. I have also said that Geo works in strange and mysterious ways. Thats about all I am going to keep...he is strange and mysterious, the rest I am going to recant. After these Dubai boodogles and other messes he creates, or is involved in, I now think he is stupid. If stupid is what stupid does, I am in the right ballpark. He has now perfected stupidity to such a high degree that even die hard neocons are noticing it. Liberals have been claiming Geo is stupid for years...I hate to admit that liberals are right about most anything, but I think they may be right about Geo. He's not guilty of everything he is accused of, but he is guilty of enough to question his mental competency. And that of his advisors, they may be passing along some of their own stupidity to Geo. That makes him even more retarded, but it also makes him happy to know that there are other people just as stupid as he is, and they are all around him...he is not alone...oh what a joy...are we having fun yet??
Watch this. (And be sure your dentures don't fall out...)

This doesn't make sense? It really does. The Arabian pennisula has been sucking up Infidel capital for almost sixty years. Infidels are lining up to get a drink and they now have something like 10 trillion dollars invested in the US and Europe.
What no one seems to understand is that they already have invested in everything. And what is scary is that it is accelerating. Our investment firms want a piece of their money at .5% fees. Our corporations want their easy capital. Our govenment representatives want their largesse to peddle their influence. It all comes down to one thing: GREED with extra big capital letters.
So many already work for them and don't really know it. The media giants, the university grants, the biggest of them all: the Carlisle Group which incidentally employs many ex-Washington power brokers and invests billions of Saudi dollars.
From what I can gather. This is only a piece of a bigger puzzle. A lesser jihad composed of their greed and our greed. If this continues, they will take us over. Through all this runs one theme: we're letting it happen. We're handing them our livelihood on our children's future.
The question posed then is how to make it stop. I believe we do just as a little third world dictatorship would do. Expropriate everything they own and redistribute it to the masses. Use the valid excuse that it is in the national interest. Raise the price of foodstuffs that we export to their desert countries. Why not have a food OPEC. Increase taxes to very high levels on their investments. Finally, a passive revolution here to change the greed mindset of our commercial and political leaders. Might work. It's better than the way things are going now.
By what I see on Jihadwatch, there are many that feel the way I do or are coming to the same conclusions I have. The problem is we are not organized to be effectual. We have no political or capital clout. We must get both.
Dhimmitude is coming. Many of us already are dhimmis and don't know it. Our president is. Congress most assuredly. The port was going to be. Now military industry is next. Wall Street is. The Carlisle Group does their bidding: Dhmmitude, albeit rich dhimmis. The petrochemical industry: powerful capital-rich dhimmis.
Their oil was once the fuel that ran the jihad. I am afraid that we now are the fuel that runs their jihad.
We have two bargaining chips left: our minds(our ability to create technology and think freely) and our food. They are battling for former, lets hope they haven't already bought up the latter.
Please consider my post carefully and consider what can be done. I for one don't want to pray five times a day and I like pork.

Take a day this week-end and email everyone! Every friend, family member, senator, congress person, governor, mayor, tv station, EVERYONE!
Enough is enough, we need to get a grass roots email campaign going.

Oh yeah? Lessee:
At it's best, Islam is a beautiful religion.
No, at it's best, Islam is homo sapiens absolute worst nightmare, and since Osama call for global Jihad in '98, Islam has been improving on itself daily.
Islam was highjacked 500 years ago! I know this because look at the beautiful buildings they designed up until about 500 years ago. No Islamist could ever design such buildings.
History ain't Mike's strong suit, either.
I know I've mentioned this often enough for everyone to be sick of it but:
I work for a defense contractor. A BIG one.
Not only did this article wake me up, this morning, but I might never sleep soundly again. If Dubai buys my company, I'll have to quit my job. There's no way I could work for them, in good conscience, if this were to happen!
The notion is so surreal, and there are no words to describe how appalled I am!
But, I'll find some. I'll send them to everyone I know. I'm also going to put them in my break room at work. To hell with the Thought Police!
If ever there was a reason for public outcry and open protest, this is it.
Between his insane stances on Illegals and his naive and ill-educated/counseled understanding of the roots of this war we are in, I firmly believe that the sooner George W. Bush is out of office, the better for this country. I view him as an incompetent and if he was impeached today I would sleep better tomorrow.
Alarmed Pig Farmer:
I agree that on the subject of Islam, Mike Savage isn't as harsh a he could be, but he is still damn harsher than anyone else in the media besides a handful of lesser known radio talkshow hosts.
What we need to do actually is get Michael Savage to endorse Jihad Watch and Robert Spencer on his radio show. And then the cat will truly be out of the bag. Savage has his own new bestseller out in stores right now. He'll listen to what Robert has to say and I know that once the facts are put down for him in plain English he'll relent and be on the warpath more than ever.
Perhaps we should start a JW commenter campaign to get M. Savage's attention? Try to call in to his show and tell him about the "Politically Incorrect Guide", give him the JW url, send him emails and/or contact his management. I haven't any of his books in my personal library yet, but I'm sure there's contact information in one of them if not all.
Seriously people, the more I watch the political landscape and become convinced that our President is either out-of-his-mind, or he's intentionally selling us out so that he can create more billionaire friends and friends into billionaires, I realize that we need to start forming alliances among all those in this nation that are of a like mind and the sooner the better.
We really are at war. This is no joke. The fronts are both from within and without. I don't know about you all, but hearing the National Anthem in Spanish yesterday pretty much set my teeth to grinding and wondering if I had enough ammunition.
Bring Savage and other radio talk show hosts to Jihad Watch. Let's get serious and make some noise in this country!
I can't believe that some of you actually think that kerry or any other liberal would be better than Bush at this point in time.
Look, I am not defending Bush and his ignorance regarding islam, but it is a "least worst" choice.
Lets look at the elitist liberal alternative, the European model. They have done quite a job in dealing with islam....
The "enlightened" left has made a real mess of the situation, and they have their heads completely in the sand. Take Sweden or any other liberal dominated European country.
This gives us the alternative to President Bush, who is misguided but not afraid to "throw a punch" when it is called for.
He is not perfect, but considering the alternatives he is the best we have got.
I for one remember clintons response to the cole bombing, in my opinion as a veteran it was a slap in the face to all who have served their country.
he also likes to undermine America at every chance he gets.He absoluty LIED to get a war HE wanted. We have lost way to much treasure, both in american lives, and money.Yes saddom was an awfull dictator. But taking him out was not or job,or place.Affganistan yes.iran,we most definatelly SHOULD be at war with them. Then we fight to get a deal ended to let dubia run some ports, then turns around and lets them take over a major millitary supplier, because he got them to sign a paper saying they promise we will get a steady supply of parts?A child could see how wrong that is.He is a traiter to the American people, and might as well spit in his fathers face,he fought for this country in WW2,now his son has basically showed him it was for nothing. He gave all his rich buddies BIG tax brakes, while we are at war?Again a child could see how stupid that is.Oil company's say the price of oil is going up,and they are passing along the price too us,fine, that makes sense. So why are they makin record prophits? How much money do you think goergie has made in the sense he's been president? He is doing NOTHING for America.
This was a bad idea. It seems like the White House is coming up with new ones every day.
Nevertheless, I agree with adobe. Bush is the best we seem to have realistically. The demos are putting up either hacks or morons. It is a fault of our democracy. The cream does not rise to the top. The EU elites are on top, but democracy did not get them there. Democracy - Ukraine style, will hopefuly remove them.
Patriot4, your rant sounds like you have been reading too many anti Bush sites. Let's get over the "Bush lied" canard. Faulty intel will trip up any CEO.
Poor Rommel experienced faulty intel when he went on vacation on D-Day. S... happens; Erwin will back me up.
nope, no anti-bush sites.Just everyday accounts of goergie.I think it was too BIG of a lie to forget, too many great Americans have paid for it.It is all moot though, people re-elected him,so we're stuck. We don't know what anybody else would have done, probably would have been as inept as him,but we will never know. Why we only get to choose between to people,i do not know.By bush's action's alone it is easy to see he don't give a rats a** about Americans, remember i will veto any bill that threatens the ports deal. The reaction to that deal alone was proof of what American felt about it.So what does he do?gives them access to even MORE sensitive deals. He is truly an American idiot.
"I can't believe that some of you actually think that kerry or any other liberal would be better than Bush at this point in time." adobe
Bush is not a conservative! He is a southern democrate playing republican. Look at his record!
(1) Spends money and takes out loans for his half ass programs. Sound like a Dem to me!
(2) Sells out the country for his own bank account. Sounds like a dem to me.
(3) Talks about religion of peace and understanding. The Koran is a sacred text! Cartoons bad! We must understand. Sounds like a dem to me.
(4) Does not understand basic econ 101 to save his life. Sounds like a dem to me.
In fact come to think of it what has he done that gives him such conservative street cred.
Oh thats right he is against abortion. Yep!
A True conservative!
Patriot4 - I'll grant you that the ports veto declaration was absolutely baffling. It certainly smelled of the Carlisle Group or something equally sordid. I do get the idea that Bush has trouble smelling policy decisions that most Americans abhore. This one should not have passed the smell test. Maybe he needs an old fashion complete ENT checkup.
I remember after the port deal went south, the UAE started making threats of not giving our ships access to dock as they used to, among other issues.
Somthing about these deals just feels wrong.
This is as big a mistake as the port deal, and I hope to see it fail as well.
Americans need to be heard on this one, and its time to raise the voices.
Islofob IS-1,
I agree with you.I am very worried about the America my children will inherit from us,not worried about any country will take us over,i know better than that.I am afraid of our own government.
Greatcomet, you nailed it.
What got Bush elected in the first place "The culture war", what are so called conservatives really interested in and how do they vote? The so called culture war, mention gays, feminists, abortion and you have the Red State vote, that is all that is important to them, nothing else.
They have been frightened, "liberals" demonized, and that drives them to the polls. We have seen the last of any real two party system. Democrats are actually Republican Light.
Check out Sheikh Yer Mami's link above "Texans turning Muslim" good solid Christian Conservatives who have turned Muslim (in fact it is Christians who convert not liberals and atheists), and the more conservative (aka family values) oriented the more likely they will become Muslim, as Islam is the epitomy of family values (misogynistic, homophobic, patriarchial).
Have to keep your priorities straight don't we, the real enemy is "liberuhls, queers, atheists, feminists, and that is why Bush knows that he can push through any deal with the Muslims, because in the end the "conservatives" will always vote for him, even if they have to hold their nose.
Adios America, hello Islamic Republic of Ameriki.
BTW, the Muslims have signed up en masse for the May lst, coast to coast immigration demonstration.
Adios America, hello Islamic Republic of Ameriki.

Just wait till the muslim "men" actually ACT like men. When they are brave enough to fight with the American public we will despense of islam, and bring our government in check.Stop abusing children, woman,be a man.Come to Ameriki
yes,the day with ought (ILLEGAL)immigrants. We have had quite a few days with ought (ILLEGAL)immigrants, they are scared to come out, thinking they will get deported,GOOD.America is a land of immigrants, but there are LEGAL ways of coming to America. So if your ILLEGAL adiós.If you came here LEGALLY then Welcome.
this deal seems to stink from all sides. Pro-jihadi sheiks have control --to some extent or other-- of weapons manufacturing for the USA. Not only can they influence supplies to the USA, but they obtain weapons technology. Is it good for the American people, or for civilization as such to let Arabian sheiks, running a 12th century princedom/emirate, have control over advanced weapons technology?
In this situation, you have to wonder who was on that anonymous committee that decides what is safe for US national security. Who are these guys? What is their connection to cia and state dept? What are their financial ties to the Arabian Peninsula or the Persian Gulf?
Dubai Investments
Dubai International last year spent $1 billion for a stake in DaimlerChrysler AG and 800 million pounds ($1.4 billion) for Tussauds Group, owner of London's Madame Tussauds waxworks museum.
Doncasters, which is based in Melbourne, England, has plants in Rincon, Georgia; Groton, Connecticut, and other U.S. sites. Its customers include Boeing Co. and General Electric Co., according to information on its Web site.
Gulf Arab governments, flush with record oil revenue, are spending billions of dollars on companies from South Korea to the U.S.
Kuwait's state-controlled PWC Logistics, which won a U.S. military contract last year worth as much as $14 billion to feed troops in Iraq, agreed in July to buy Santa Ana, California-based GeoLogistics Corp. for $454 million. GeoLogistics is an international freight management company with operations in more than 100 countries, according to its Web site.

Remember, if fear of our "goverment" is within, go and look in a mirror, to see a member of the real leadership of the U.S.A..
Isn't it curious that Arab billionaires, from oil and otherwise, have held major portions in Western corporations since the first big jump in oil prices at the time of the first so-called "oil boycott," --which never really happened-- yet the so-called "left" which is supposed to be opposed to money-power, hasn't noticed the capitalist role of Kuwaitis, Saudis, Qataris, Dubaiers, etc? Now, according to Lenin's theory of imperialism, major capitalists are imperialists by definition. But the Left doesn't notice all that capital held in Western and Arab and Pakistani and other banks in the names of all those Arab billionaires and multi-millionaires, etc. Nor does the "Left" notice the millions of foreign workers in Arab countries, whether Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, etc., etc., and how they are treated and often mistreated. If the sheiks and kings and amirs and sultans, and what have you, are big capitalists, even imperialists, then why isn't the "Left" on to their ugly practices?
I see that BAR mentions recent investments by the Arab oil rich. Bear in mind that the company that owns Mercedes was 14% Kuwait-owned back in the 1970s, which I read then in the WSJ if I'm not mistaken. Then there are the major real estate investments of the Arab superrich in Western countries, including the USA. Then, how about their media investments [by Prince al-Walid, among others], such Int'l New Service [INS]? Then, what is the meaning of their huge contributions to American universities for Arab and Muslim and Middle Eastern Studies Depts? These investments [and endowments] go back thirty years, at least. There is nothing new under the sun אין חדש תחת השמש
how come the scandal around the BCCI bank [run by a Pakistani, owned by the Shaykh of Abu Dhabi] didn't make that part of the "Left" inclined to economic analyses and explanations do some thinking or rethinking? Of course money isn't everything, nor is ecomics everything or explain everything. It's time for "econofools" to start realizing that other factors move events besides money and means of production and rate of profit and those other notions that the Marxists used to talk about. Which isn't to say that money isn't important. What is the impact of all those Arab endowments on Middle Eastern studies?
"Oh thats right he is against abortion. Yep!
A True conservative!"
Very off topic and I don’t see how that is related to this thread but yes, abortion is the number one issue of a MORAL conservative. I proudly standby that fact. An anti-abortion candidate, whether republican or democrat, will ALWAYS trump a pro-abortion if you have a rightly ordered conscience. I would gladly support a dem that was anti-abortion, too bad you can't find too many who value human life at conception.
But why don't we stick to the topic at hand. Regarding Bush my point still stands:
Bush versus kerry, Bush is the "best worst" choice. Seems with all the Bush bashing on this thread no ones has come up with a better option.
As it stands now in the real world you get two candidates for President, so its one or the other. You can criticize Bush all you want (although we seem to have passed the criticizing and moved into slander) but I still don't see how the alternative wouldn't be 10 times worse. All I have to say is one word, Bill Clinton....
Quit bitching and send an email to your senators and congressmen.

President Bush allows more American security to be sold….
WASHINGTON (April 28) - President Bush on Friday approved a deal for a Dubai-owned company to take control of some U.S. plants that manufacture parts for American military contractors.
Congress can not keep America safe and continue to allow President Bush to make these mistakes.
Have not the American people let it be known that Americans do not want Islamic countries operating our ports much less operating our military manufacturing companies.
This has to stop. President Bush is destroying the Republican Party. I and millions of other Republicans are distraught over the continued violation of our nation by President Bush and his attitude that everything is ok.
9-11 will happen again if President Bush is not stopped.
What benefit does this deal have for America????
It will be too late when our weapons systems are compromised.
What is the safety of your children and nation worth to you????
It is time for this insanity to stop.
America is at a cross roads and it is time to protect Americans and America regardless of world opinion.
Congress has to stand up and say no to foreign ownership of any port, military base or defense contractor or manufacturing enterprise if America is to remain safe.
The potential results to not protect America will be the destruction of America.
