More jihad violence in Kashmir reported by Fox News:
SRINAGAR, India — A series of grenade attacks by suspected separatist rebels shook Kashmir's capital on Friday, killing five people and wounding at least 18, police said.All those killed were civilians — three women and two men who died of their injuries at the main hospital in Srinagar, said Mushtaq Ahmad, a police officer at the hospital...
A local news agency, Current News Service, reported that four Islamic rebel groups separately claimed responsibility for the attacks. The groups include Jamiat-ul-Mujahedeen, Al-Mansurain, Jaish-e-Mohammad and Islamic Front.
Various Islamic militant groups have been fighting Indian security forces in the insurgency-hit state of Jammu-Kashmir since 1989 to create a separate homeland or merge the Himalayan region into Pakistan.

Just as in the Lesser Jihad against Israel, where Hamas, Hezbollah, and the redundantly-named Islamic Jihad carry out acts of terror (for the Fast Version of the Jihad favored at present by most "Palestinians"), in the Lesser Jihad against India, Jamiat-ul-Mujahedeen, Al-Manusurain, Jaish-e-Mohammad and Islamic Front are doing what Muslims are taught -- and many believe -- needs doing.
No need for Al Qaeda. If Al Qaeda did not exist, we would still have Hamas, Hezbollah, the redundantly-named (redundantly noted) Islamic Jihad, Jamiat-ul-Mujahedeen, Al-Manusurain, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and Islamic Front in Kashmir. And Laskar Jihad in Indoneisa, and As-Sayyaf in the Philippines, and Gemaaa Islamiyaa in Egypt, and a thousand other groups, or groupuscules, some with no names whatsoever.
It is the texts of Islam, taken seriously and acted upon, not by madmen but by people who exist in a society where the brainwashing of Islma is complete, the answers Islam provide to all the questions of life so thorough, that this is belief-system provides a Total Regulation of Life and Complete Explanation of the Universe. And so fierce, apparently, is its hold on people, that most, even when they find out about its unpleasant aspects, remain with it. And in the West, too, even the children of those who fled Islamic countries, and who have had a chance to slough off Islam, often return to it, instead -- with a vengeance. The son or grandson of the Pakistani who arrived in Bradford for economnic reasons, and who becomes My Son the Fanatic, the Iranian who is the son of exiles from the Khomeini regime but are now unobservant Muslims themselves, but their son moves ever more to embracing the full and violent Islam, even as he studies, say, law in this country, but his own views make clear that he will never be able,, as a member of the Bar must, truthfully be able to uphold the American Constitution because his heart is with Islam, and Islam flatly contradicts the American Constitution (and especially the First Amendment), the amazing willingness of Muslims to lie about the nature of Islam, to become defensive about it as soon as they sense Infidels are attacking it (even if, a moment before, they might have expressed their own freethinking ways) -- this is what leads intellignet Infidels to believe that the only way to insure that the mental state will not reoccur in the same individual, or in a later generation, is for a complete break with the belief-system, the kind made by Ibn Warraq and Ali Sina and Wafa Sultan, and tens of thousands of the most clear-eyed, the intellectually and morally most advanced of all those born, through no fault of their own, into Islam.
Al Qaeda is merely the most famous of the Muslim terrorist groups, "Muslim" because their members are always Muslims, their targets are always non-Muslims, and what prompts them is not some vauge ideology, but the teachings of Islam itself, rooted quite clearly in passages in the Qur'an, stories in the Hadith, and the devastating example of Muhammad, uswa hasana al-insan al-kamil, that Perfect Man, for seventh-century Arabia, and for all time.
Neither Al Qaeda, nor any of the groups listed above, need to exist for the threat of Jihad to be ever-present. Nor need the threat be one from "terror" alone, for terrorism is not the only, and not the most effective, weapon at present for promoting the Greater Jihad -- which is merely the sum of all the Lesser Jihads, all around the world, both against, and from within, Dar al-Harb, the Domain of War, and even that still conducted against non-Muslims who manage to survive still, within Dar al-Islam.
The growth rate of the Indian Muslim population is three times the national average - mainly because of their absolute refusal to use birth control. India already has the world's second largest Muslim population.. and their radicalisation is going on fast,with mosques and madrassas(Koranic "schools") springing up all over India funded by Arab petrodollars and backed by the stunningly stupid Indian Leftists. In the last 2 years alone 2,500 Madrassas have come up, these are Govt statistics. What the hell is happening to my country???
Kashmir is just a first step. Anyone who thinks that had Kashmir been either independent or a part of Pakistan, everything would be hunky dory should note that there are enough groups in Pakistan who dream of re-creating the Moghul empire. And enough dhimmis in India who think it wouldn't be all that bad.
India really needs a cleansing civil war, in which every Congressman and Leftist is subjected to Mao's dictum, "Politics flows from the barrel of a gun". Once they are eviscerated, Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Jews, Parsis would be safe to end the seige within (with apologies to that 3rd generation covert MJ Akbar) and take on the threats from both Islamabad and Dhaka.

Since noone else is posting here, this would be a good place to note the terror-lite that the Jihadists implement when it comes to targetting mosques, as opposed to temples, churches, synagogues, et al.
