They call it a "declaration of war," brushing aside the fact that they have been at war with Israel since they were established in the late 1980s. From the New Duranty Times, aka the New York Times:
TEL AVIV, April 10 — Israel's decision to boycott the new Hamas-led Palestinian government was sharply condemned on Monday by Hamas, which called the decision a "declaration of war.""It is a failed attempt to make divisions among Palestinians," a Hamas statement said. "It is part of a continuous siege on the Palestinian people."
The Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas, with whom Israel is not explicitly ending ties, also rejected the new policy, saying it violated international law and existing Israeli-Palestinian agreements.
The statement from the militant group Hamas suggested that the Israeli government was trying to punish the Palestinian people for voting the group into office in parliamentary elections in January, when Mr. Abbas's Fatah organization was ousted as the ruling party. Mr. Abbas retains his post, however.
In the first act of its new policy, Israel closed a joint security coordination office near the West Bank town of Jericho. It was among the last offices run together by Israeli soldiers and Palestinian security officials.
The Israeli government has repeatedly said it would not deal with Hamas until the group recognized Israel's right to exist, renounced terrorism and abided by previous agreements between the sides.
"If you are outside the international community and you act like a pariah, you cannot complain that people treat you like a pariah," said Mark Regev, the Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman, responding to the Hamas statement.
The govt here could be doing much more. Even with all the EU and UN peacemongers. And the "ngos," etc.
Elect terrorists, be treated like terrorists.

I am going to frame this quote
Telegraph weblog:
So I should think. This is so obvious. Where is the problem? But don't expect the Grauniad or the so-called Independent to grasp this yet.
Time for Palestine to take the blame
To daveconcerned:
The way the Palis are acting is just like all adversaries the West has dealt with since Stalin: The enemy formally demands twice as much as they really want, and then the West offers to give them half of what they have formally demanded. This is known as a "peace process." To many in the West, especially on the Left, a "successful negotiation" is when the West makes concessions to enemy demands and gets nothing in return.
The arrogance and impudence of the "Palestinians" never ceases to amaze me.Hamas preaches genocide and terrorism and they have the gall to complain when Isreal refuses to recognize them.
If they want war and jihad then we should by all means give it to them.
Bankrobbers denounce locks on vaults.
News at 10:59.
To Muslims, peace or war are defined by them. Muhammad did the same with the Arabs when he violated the Treaty of Hudaibiya. And Muslim scholars do tell us there is no such thing as a peace treaty, only a treaty of truce. When they are strong enough, the treaties will be violated. This pattern is being followed by Muslims every where. They bid their time.
Hamas' leaders are being good Muslims.
Has anyone seen this?

"Who's Afraid in Bethlehem and Why? - Karl Pfeifer
Reading British media, one could conclude that Christian solidarity movements are only concerned about violations of Human Rights by IDF and that such violations when committed by Palestinians are of no interest to them.
On March 12 ARD (the first German TV channel) scheduled a documentary “terror against Christians – the threatened minority in Bethlehem”. However it was not transmitted. Today “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” informed its readers why not. Those Christians, who gave interviews to the German TV were afraid of being killed, if the documentary was shown.
Uwe Bork, the responsible editor of the TV station received urgent calls from clerics and laymen from Betlehem asking him not to transmit the documentary.
Bork wrote in Neue Zürcher Zeitung: “Our Interviews and talks were recorded before the Palestinian elections and the surprising victory of Hamas have prompted them to disassociate themselves”.
German TV-station SWR will transmit on April 25 late night a Discussion about “Terror against Christians?” ARD will show on May 31 also late night a new documentation “Persecuted Christians – threatened freedom of worship”.
I suggest, our friends in the UK should ask the different Christian Solidarity movements what they are doing in order to improve the situation of their fellow Christians in Bethlehem and elsewhere in the PA.

Are we equal signatories? No. Typepad is assuming hegemony.
Is the agent the owner(Jihad Watch--Robert Spencer)? No. The agent is a third party organization (TypePad).
Now, on to the Palestinians (a made-up name). They are not the Philistines. They are not the descendants of the Philistines. They are Arabs. I am a Jew. Ani Levi. If you understand what this means, it means what it means. If you don't understand, find out, or forget about it.
Hamas does not have a viable claim to the Land of Israel. The PLO does not have a viable claim to the Land of Israel. If Hamas triumphs, it will be because of missteps on the part of the Jews.
Jericho is a historically Jewish city. Nevertheless, Jews were told that they should not live in Jericho. However what is decided about this is decided at this time is for the rabbis and Hashem to decide.
Nevertheless, if there are towns within the borders of Eretz Yisrael that are not being administered appropriately by Jews, they must be dealt with.
Further, The Jews have the (not "a", but "the") legitimate claim to Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel). This means the physical country and most important the people therein, independent of the type of government (democratic, monarchy, judgeship, etc)are Jewish.
Therefore, the claims of the "PLO" and "Hamas), since they are illegimate entities, are null and void. Then, now, and forever.
Depending on the conduct of an undetermined number of the Jews.
Chag Sameach.
George Negus, TV-presenter for 'Dateline', previously 'Foreign Correspondents' here in Australia, will present us with "a Palestinian mother of 7 who lost 3 of her children to the Israeli occupation..."
(sic!)
Some of you may have guessed it:
Negus is referring to 'Umm Nidal', a brood-sow for Jihad, the worst of the perverted scum on earth, who is now an accredited member of the new 'Hamas-government'- and who is on record proudly declaring that she, and every Palestinian mother, should encourage and be proud to give all her children for the Jihad 'against the occupiers'....
Needless to say that her terrorist-sons, those that killed Israelis, and were killed, or blew themselves up amongst IDF soldiers, are highly regarded amongst all Mohammedan terror-groups as 'martyrs...'
Let us not forget that the charter of the "more moderate" PLO differs in no substantive way from that of Hamas in that both call for the annihilation of Israel. Arafat, despite his avowals of renunciation of terror as a tactic, never made any effort whatsoever to revise the PLO charter, nor did (nor will, for that matter) Abbas, his successor. The jihad continues, in perpetuity, against the infidel Jewish state.
There will be peace when one side is totally destroyed, and that l know will be Hammas along with their brothers the PA!
Israel's decision to boycott the new Hamas-led Palestinian government was sharply condemned on Monday by Hamas, which called the decision a "declaration of war."
Does Hamas truly understand what going to war with Israel would be like for them? These clowns haven't seen war. If Israel unleashed their version of hell on Hamas, it would be the end of this terrorist Muslim brigade within a matter of hours, if not minutes.
They will never go to war until they can rely on massive support from some Muslim power. Egypt has been twice taught lessons so painful that it will take another generation before they have the itch to start anything again; besides, they are making money out of the peace, two-faced and treacherous though it is. However, the growing Syria-Iran Axis (in which the feeble Bashir al-Assad is beginning to look very much like Mussolini in the coils of Hitler, going to war to no advantage for his country in the service of a crushingly stronger "ally") suggests that soon real armies may be gathering at the gates of Israel; at which point we shall see whether one Arab or Iranian soldier is the equal of one Israeli. I think they are more like the difference between Finns and Russians, as seen in late 1939-early 1940.
