Someone else commented we need 'reverse taqiyya'... If we only had a few journalists out there who would turn up the lights, smile and flatter like a good dhimmi and then frame the question in a way which allows it all to naturally spill out... Now, the Hamas official does have a point or two to make. Not only was Jesus Jewish, but so were all of the apostles. Hence, the New Testament itself is a Jewish book. Given that we Christians view the Old Testament as full of prophecies about the Messiah, draw our prayers and praises from it (the Psalms), and use it for a lot of our ethics, I daresay we are Judaized up to our eyeballs and down to our marrow. Add to this that there are indeed people of Jewish origins in many a church, and some are even pastors or elders, maybe the guy has a point.
Then again, he ought to be proud of the fact that we've drawn a small, slow, quiet, yet steady stream of people exiting Islam as well.
And, I for one tell the guy that he's more than welcome to repent of his hatreds and blasphemies and join us, too.
