UNITED NATIONS - Iran's U.N. ambassador on Thursday denounced Israel's election as a vice-chair of the U.N. Disarmament Commission, calling the Jewish state a threat to peace in the Middle East.Ambassador Javad Zarif accused Israel of "violating every single Security Council resolution that has been adopted about the Middle East."
He also lashed out at Israeli criticism of Iran's own election as a vice-chair of the commission, noting the Jewish state has refused to sign the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty but "has the audacity to talk about another country having a seat."
"That's absolutely ridiculous," he told a group of reporters at a lunch he hosted. "It's pushing the issue to the border of absurdity."
Javad, there is a lot of absurdity going on at the UN, but in that regard you should look to yourself.

Seriously, one expects UN ambassadors to be a cut above the ordinary five year-old.
Well, the ambassador is coherent with the president´s opinion. And well, the UN resolutions have been aproved with almost all countries except US and Israel. But are they good? I doubt it.
I still maintain that the safest way to handle Iran (and other Islamic rogue stations) is to detonate EMP weapons over its airspace which will almost certainly render it incapable of the sophisticated missile attacks it is contemplating to deploy.
I don't know why the Pentagon is waiting. It has already waited too long as far as I can tell.
