If this statement is real. I thought the Americans were doing all the killings over there. But it seems that the Iraqi population is a little unhappy with their 'freedom fighter' resistance force. I suppose Aljazeera has long distanced itself from the killer Iraqi ‘freedom fighter’ who dresses as a woman to kill innocent people. Now it appears that freedom fighter Al-Zarqawi ‘Akbar’ has lost his beheading privileges.

TERRORISM: AL-ZARQAWI TO END BEHEADINGS, PRESS REPORTS
Baghdad, 3 April (AKI) - Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has promised the leaders of the Sunni insurgency in Iraq to stop the practice of beheading hostages, according to an al-Qaeda source quoted by pan-Arab daily al-Sharq al-Awsat. According to the source, al-Zarqawi had committed countless errors in the eyes of the Iraqi 'resistance', such as kidnappings and decapitation. The report in Monday's edition of the paper appears to confirm a statement over the weekend by Hudheifa Azzam, the son of Osama Bin Laden's ideologue, Abdullah Azzam. He had said the insurgents were relegating al-Zarqawi to a purely military role, choosing as leader an Iraqi Abdallah ben Rached al-Baghdadi.
Speaking from Amman, Hudheifa Azzam said Sunday that the leadership of the Iraqi insurgency had asked the Jordanian leader to step aside because of the errors which in their view had ruined the image of the "resistance" in the eyes of the Iraqi population.

I sent the National Post a letter to the editor because I am really proud that they had the guts to publish the truth...FINALLY! Canada is known to be gutless when it comes to offending (Oops, sorry) anyone but it's high time they got some backbone. Don't get mad at me for I was born there but I just don't take any of this lying down. At a time like this, we all need courage and to be forthright in the truth.
