The French journalist Bernard Henri-Levy reported, a few years ago on the Charlie Rose television news interview show, that videotapes of the grotesquely barbaric beheading of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl were being sold at the front doors of mosques in Pakistan, including the chief mosque of the former capital city, Karachi -- and selling like pancakes according to Henri-Levy.

This (along with this thread's story) is one more piece of evidence of a hideous pathology in the Muslim world.

It is so amazing, the difference in cultures, between islam and the rest of the world, particularly Christianity. Can one even imagine your priest, vicar, or minister openly advocating the murder and mutilation of ANY person, let alone shill for how-to videos on mayhem? On a less chilling note, how often are the "faithful" whipped into a post-service frensy that includes chants of "death to....."

Perhaps this might give some idea of the mind of the jihadist who does not care about how much pain he inflicts and in fact revels in it shoutin his "God is great!!" blasphemy. It says a lot about his God and his religion.

Having forced myself to watch a jihadic beheading and been quite horrified sbout it even now(> 2 years later) I can think of no appropriate punishment for such an atrocity. If you look at Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir or wherever Muslims and nonMuslims interact violently you find "sawn off" heads looking glumly into video cameras. They behead their victims in the same manner that they kill their sheep and if you have seen that in life, as I have, it is an experience best forgotten. I was brought up on a farm and have never seen brutality like that inflicted upon any animal.

It makes you wonder just how many muslim children anywhere have jihadic beheadings served up as part of their madrasa education. Unlikely in the west? How unlikely? With an education like this, it is no wonder that tney treat their victims like sheep and we are sheep all waiting to be sacrificed.

If a barbarian group refuses to become civilised but causes harm to no other group then so be it.

But these barbarians have every intention of harming others and no intention of becoming civilised so there is only one way to deal with them.

daddyphil...if you wish to quibble...yes I have seen not a few sheep slaughtered in the Middle east and in the distinct Muslim fashion. I have also seen one slaughtered in the backyard of a suburb in my own city and in full view of the neighbours(I was visiting an elderly couple at the time and we all heard the animal screaming).

In view of the threat to mankind which I perceive Islam to be, I really do not care about how other farms treat their animals although I would prefer it to be as humanely(doesn't sound right but..) as possible.

All I know is how we did it on our farm and it was as quick and as painless as possible even if we were paid less for the carcase(as in the case of pigs). (details upon request). Money was always important to us but so was sleep.

Now, older and hopefully wiser, I could even be an animal rights supporter if things were different. but if Islam wins there will not even be such a concept.

Suspected Islamic militants have killed 22 and wounded five Hindus in a raid on a rural area of Indian-administered Kashmir, according to police.
Police said militants lined the men up outside their homes in the mountainous Doda district before shooting them.

The only thing missing was the insane chants of the sick indivuals that were chearing this poor persons decapitation. This is the "religion of peace" in all of its glory. It case you haven't heard pro wrestling is coriographed moves with predetermined outcomes. The few in ring deaths there have been over the years have been accidental, usually when preforming stunts, not deliberate acts. Nobody shouts "Vince McMahon hu Akbar!" Last I heard there have been no deaths in Ultimate Fighting. In both cases all participants are consenting. Beheadings always end in fatalities, and one party isn't consenting. Secondly, in our PC climate of opinion, your proposal to strip Islam of its religious definition would be next to impossible. I'm not sure which concept would be more likely to penetrate the moronic thick skulls of people with a PC mindset:

1) Islam is an evil religion

or

2) Islam is evil, and therefore for that reason not a religion at all.

I tend to think that #1 would come about sooner than #2.

I believe you are falling into the PC trap that any comment or critisim of another religion,people, or culture makes the author of said comments a bigot, racist, nutter, etc.

WRT Mr. Belloc's comments on the Jews, he is not an anti-semite merely because he is pointing out historical fact and opining over the fate of Jews in the world anymore than he is an anti-semite (islamiphobe) for pointing out the facts WRT Mohammedanism. No one is untouchable from objective comment. The Jews have had and have problems, those under the Islamic yoke have theirs, and we of the west definitely have ours.

So lets look at that in terms of this string. We have heard in these comments on this article the harm the exaltation of such viciously violent acts and images has in the context of a violent heresy or pseudo-religion.

In the West we are seeing the exaltation of almost every perversion under the sun in this post-Christian, apganized society we live under. Violence-addiction and sex-addiction via the PC and the internet are epidemic. The West is allowing its core to be exised and replaced by a disgusting rot of the foulest kind. Our war with Mohammedanism is really two fronted. We must battle the forces within (far more dangerous than any jihadist to our survival I would argue) that seem bent on a grand social suicide and those without. But to what you said about oil and the Middle East, On August 8th 2005 President Bush mandated that the Colorado Rocky Mountains be explored for possible oil. And guess what, There's oil in them there mountains!!! And it's rumored to be more than 2 TRILLION barrels. This is from the Wall Street Journal;

"When the oil is extracted "America would become the world's single biggest oil source, exceeding Saudi Arabia's proven reserves of 261 billion barrels."

Now add that to the Alaskian Wildlife National Reserve's untapped oil and we're talking about the United States being totally free of dependence on Arab oil! And imagine what kind of boost to the world economy that would be?
Now this was reported from Stansberry and Associates Investment Research. There is more to this story. but that is all that I can let out at this time. But trust me, In a few years, Arab oil will be a thing of the past.
