Hasan is probably a politically correct philanthropist who yearns for a global islamic utopia, for humanity's own good, of course. Shame on you for for impeding the fulfillment of his cherished dream.

Islam is wrought with self-doubt, an inferiority complex, and infantile envy issues which are manifested in maniacal riots, suicide bombings, and senseless carnage and destruction. Could there be a more noble endeavor than to remake the world in an image of medieval Arabia?

This site is one of the few that provides an unbiased and honest expose of Islam by publishing the exploits and utterances of the world's muslims. If Hasan has a problem with that, maybe he should evaluate his ideological loyalties.

Actually, I can't stop Palestininan "donation flow," since the dhimmi U.S. government insists on sending lots of my tax dollars, without permission, to those Pali pirates as jizya payments. However, I am working on stopping that financial bloodletting also. If I were king for a day, that jizya would stop tommorrow. "Millions for defense, but not one cent for tribute," as someone famous once said.

JihadWatch is making a positive impact on many people and I'm sure Moslems are among them. Overall JW makes an appeal to reason and not emotion. It is asking the readers to think about facts.

The site reminds me of the Joe Friday-Bill Gannon detectives (actors Jack Webb-Henry Morgan) from the Dragnet series, their constant emphasis on facts as they gathered information ("Just the facts, ma'am (sir)...just the facts").

The only people threatened by the Friday and Gannon quest for facts were bad guys who didn't like what the facts were leading everybody to conclude.

Hasan may be onto something Robert. If you are mechanically inclined, perhaps electrical circuits and explosive devices would do more to help us Dhimmi "human being".

Could it be possible that the Muslims are envious of the fact the one faith that is spreading the fastest is the Christian faith? Could it also be possible that the truth of the Muslim faith is now coming to light and the Muslims are getting scared? Could it also be that for a faith that has the least respect, Islam has hit rock bottom in that department?

Robert - Dont forget the many muslims who wish to leave islam and are unable to so. Like muslim women, they too are cloaked in a burqa- a metaphorical one. They have to keep not just their identity but who they are, secret from everyone and above all, from their families.

I can think of no social system where such pervasive fear exists as that for an Apostate muslim. The nearest to this kind of fear was in the USSR in the time of Stalin, when families were encouraged to betray any member who showed deviant tendencies.

Robert, your "Dhimmi watch" led me to read Sura 9 verse 29 of Quran. I can two things to you, one is thanks and the other is that there's probably not a single task on this planet that is more important to do than running this site.

Maybe he could write to OBL and all these other murderers and ask them to do something more worthwhile for humanity? All they have done is kill people and destroy things.

Just speaking personally, but Robert's website has "benfitted" me personally and it seems to me Robert is using his writing talent and knowledge of the Islamic texts and history to benefit those of us in mankind who value Human Rights for everyone, regardless of formal religious affiliation, and even those who are not affiliated. There are some nasty posters on this site, but if you have read anything Robert has written here or in his wonderfully written books you would know that.

bigcatgirl, I would answer yes to all of your questions. In a nutshell, islam is being laid bare by those who practice it and Mr. Spencer shares its grotesque viscera with his audience. He is just a middleman, but his expertise and knowledge, and Hugh's, of course, help those who visit this site to sort it all out.

There is no reason for anyone, muslim or non-muslim, to resent Robert Spencer or JihadWatch. Muslims and Islam are the sole, albeit sometimes indirect, producers of the material published here and if anyone finds it offensive, is that the messenger's fault? What's the difference between da'wa and the pedagogy dispensed here? Mr. Spencer and Hugh tell the whole story, whereas muslim proselytizers deceive through omission, obfuscation, and deliberate lies. This is probably the most valuable site on the web.

Egypt Bombings Linked to Earlier Attacks

CAIRO, Egypt (AP) -- Two suicide attackers targeting international peacekeepers and police blew themselves up Wednesday, two days after nearly simultaneous bombings killed at least 21 people at a resort in the Sinai Peninula.
Egyptian Interior Minister Habib el-Adly said all the blasts this week were linked to terror attacks against Sinai resorts last year and in 2004.

What does this Hasan find objectionable about this website, I wonder? I wish he had elaborated. My reaction to Hasan's post is a swirling mixture of fear, disgust, loathing, pity, and bewilderment. How can such individuals stubbornly adhere to and defend Islam after reading the material on this website? I suppose (in an attempt to answer my own question) that it is difficult to reject the precepts of one's upbringing, and admit that such precepts are defective, and, yes, evil. Such an admission is unlikely to occur immediately; time is needed to undergo what must admittedly be a profound rethinking of what one has been taught from early childhood. Hasan, and the millions upon millions like him, must, as T.S. Kuhn would have put it, undergo a paradigm shift - as many of us non-Muslims have -in fully comprehending the profoundly evil and retrograde nature of Islam and the geopolitical consequences which it has engendered. For Muslims, the adoption of a new paradigm must be far more difficult than for the nonbeliever. This website performs an invaluable service - that of demonstrating how, using examples from the Koran, Ahadith, and Sira, Islam is an utterly undesirable ideology. The use of these core materials is devastating both to Islam's adherents and to its apologists.

Other then for the having a lot of babies, which is helping Islam defend its position that it claims to be the fastest growing faith, but in truth it is the Christian faith that is gaining more of the believers. Here is why I will explain the reason.

The global south which includes sub-Sahara Africa, Asia, and Latin America is where the Christian chuch is growing at a good strong rate. It is the global south have is growing the seedlings for a worldwide Christian revival. These countries are now sending missionaries to the west, which sent missionaries a century ago to the global south. It is not just the Catholic and mainline Prostestant churches in these areas that are growing. The evangelical churches over in the above mention areas are seeing great growth. Just in my church five new members, young adults came into my church the night before Easter.

Robert, from the name of this man he is obviously a Muslim. It continues to amaze me how they can terrorise the world and then say it is our fault when we try to stop them. I do feel sorry for them as I have read some of the things that cause them to hate us. The lies amazes me, but then they need to have a common cause to make them fight and unfortunately it is us... Hitler did the same things, whip the people up with lies, and hatred makes them easy for their clerics and leaders to control them into an army against us. Their clerics are telling them that we are the enemy, and make up all these terrible things that we do, but they dont tell them that without the money we pour into their countries that they would be staving, they except our money and laugh at us for giving it to them.
