Over a million Muslims are to take to the streets of London today in a demonstration against Islam. They are to march from the notorious Finsbury Park mosque in North London to the not-quite-so notorious Brixton mosque carrying placards bearing the following slogans:They're only cartoons.

April fools day at the Mosque with a million tolerant Moslems on skates calling for freedom of religion in Saudi Arabia and elewhere for Hindus, Jews, Christians, atheists, etc., for an end of intolerance....that's funny....

I just saw the report of this on al-Jazeera and Condoleeza Rice was leading the parade, waving both the U.S. and British flags, and wearing two Korans duct-taped to each of her stylishly-booted feet -while dancing a clunky saraband, shouting:
"Sura 9:29 must go-Go-GO!!!!"
-to the deafening cheers to the entire crowd which was handing our slips of paper to Brits lining the route that read: "Most mosques are really terrorist training centers-BEWARE!".
Other placards spotted among the mass of smiling demonstrators read "JIHAD MUST END NOW!", "Terrorism is for cowards!" and "We're so sorry for 1350 years of Islamic Intolerance!" , as well as a few proclaiming: "It's a sin to rape a 9 year old girl and call it 'marriage'!".
Can't wait to see how little of this gets reported in the MSM.

Actully here in Australia, some muslim committee wanted 9/11 as Islam Day, to enforce the idea of understanding and tolerance and no thats not an april foods day joke.
If it was not for its lethal side, Islam would be a never ending source of jokes...giant spiders from Allah ect. The Quran is loaded with comedic material. The very first Islamic joke, was told by Mohammad to a group of camel herders. It was this:
Tabari I:198 “I heard Muhammad say: ‘The first thing created by Allah was the Pen. And Allah said to it: “Write!” It proceeded at that very hour to write whatever is going to be.'”
And oh what a joke that was...Islamic fatalism. You can get away from Allah, but you will never escape the 'PEN'. Islam, the Alcatraz of Islam. Where there is no compulsion in religion, but there is also no way out...thanks to the Pen of Destiny...predestination. The PEN must have written very fast because the more items you add, the more complicated predestination gets...you can end up your own grandpa...Even if you are a woman. Now you got to admit, thats funny as all getout.
The camel herders heard that and cracked up...Mo likes to be taken seriously, so that ticked him off. Big Mo laughs, tells jokes, jumps rope and smokes dope, but he dont play. If you dont take him seriously, Gabriel shows up on a donkey and starts taking names and addresses.The last thing you want is for Gabriel to know where you live.
He always shows up at dinner time, and monopolises the television...Likes American Idol.
He thinks that Simon guy is soooo cute...but thats another story...

A million-man march would boost the confidence of our side, increase morale, and help others see that there are normal, sane people who resist the jihad agenda.
There were counter protests in support of Denmark in a few cities, sponsored by brave individuals.
The turnout was low.
We need to aim high.
The point is, even a 10,000 person march, would send a strong message to our governments.

duh_swami: that is clearly just a bastardized version of the elegant and much broader and deeper idea set out in the simple Greek of the Fourth Gospel: EN ARKHE EN HO LOGOS. In the beginning was the word - or, indeed, reason. And reason/word was with God, and reason/word was God.
This, incidentally, suggests to me some wholly non-fooling considerations. Islam takes over the idea of the primacy of the Word, but separates it from God and reduces it to a Pen - an instrument for the will of God, not necessarily bound up with reason, to write whatever God will, and write it permanently, with no change possible. On the other hand, Christianity associates the Word with God ("and the word was with God, and the word was God"), and, since the Greek word Logos means both, God with Reason. In other words, the Christian God has Word and Reason as part of His own essential nature; the Muslim God has not - they are mere tools of his unfettered will. We could also add that it is this element ("person") of Word/Reason within God who becomes a man and dies on the Cross for our sins, which Islam denies - so in Christianity Reason is also one and the same with Mercy. But this is not a site for Christian apologetics.

That's the best April Fools I've heard today. With all my heart I wish that it could be true!
I must inform all that I have read a most interesting article in the New England Journal of Medicine by the fairly well known Doctor Irwin Corey. Doctor Corey asserts categorically that repeating the phrase (he suggests 5x per day) "Islam is a religion of intolerance" guarantees mental and physical health. Further, there are some who claim that this prayer to Saint Jude "Islam is a religion of intolerance" has resulted in winning the lottery.
For all of you who are concerned about maintaining good health and who would like a nice buck, please repeat this phrase slowly (and out loud): "Islam is a religion of intolerance."
The last person who won the Mega Millions lottery was a Muslim cleric who kept repeating the phrase (he's now a Hindu). Repeat the phrase out loud at least 5x per day and you will win.
I won't believe it when I see it.

Hey, thanks for giving that verse in Greek! For some weird reason, it's one of my favorite passages in the Bible (maybe because it's kind of a Zen sort of concept).
