Muslims to join pro-illegals protest in L.A.

Let's see. The Muslim Public Affairs Council has a senior advisor who has declared support for Hizballah. The Council on American-Islamic Relations has had five officials associated with various terrorism-related activities and no longer contests statements connecting it with Hamas. The Muslim American Society has U.S. chapters that speak of establishing Islamic government.

When groups have called for Islamic government and speak well of or have ties to organizations that pursue violence in order to institute Sharia, and then those groups protest restrictions on illegal immigrants entering the United States, it is reasonable to suspect that they are pursuing an agenda that may involve the advancement of jihad and Sharia within the United States by making it easier for people dedicated to those causes to enter the country.

From WND, with thanks to KJL:

Muslims in Los Angeles and elsewhere are being urged to join millions of Latino protesters in the streets May 1 to demonstrate in favor of leniency toward illegal aliens currently living in the United States unlawfully.

"In solidarity with immigration activists around the country, the Muslim Public Affairs Council as well as the Council on American-Islamic Relations - Los Angeles, the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, the L.A. Latino Muslim Association, the Muslim American Society - Los Angeles, and the Muslim Students Association - West are calling on American Muslims to participate in a day of action on May 1, 2006," says a statement from the Muslim Public Affairs Council.

"Islam's message is one of social justice, economic fairness, and fair treatment in the workplace. The Quran urges the proper treatment and respect of workers."

Choosing May 1, the day Communists worldwide celebrate the worker, activists have vowed to "close" major American cities as millions of Latinos, both legal and illegal, mark what some organizers are calling "a day without an immigrant" and others refer to as the "Great American Boycott." They are urging supporters not to go to work, school or spend money on that day....

The Muslim organization pushing participation is urging the faithful in Southern California to attend a march near downtown Los Angeles at 4 p.m. Monday.

Robert has, of course, identified the main issue here. But here is a side-issue that may have some interest in it.

Notice the language use:

"... social justice, economic fairness ..."

The aim of the Muslim Public Affairs Council here is obviously to curry favour with socialists by hiding their principles behind a temporary facade of concepts agreeable to socialists. The guff about "social justice" is clearly just taqiyya intended to appeal to a particular group of infidels (ones thought of as temporarily useful allies for this particular purpose) - we've seen such games a thousand times before.

But let's for the sake of argument, and as if this were seriously meant, take a look at the concept "social justice". Here's F. A. Hayek:

Only human actions can be just or unjust; the task of government cannot be to create just conditions, but to only to prevent unjust actions. To describe as just or unjust a state of affairs that men have not and could not have created, and to which most of them owe their existence, is giving expression to fantasies in socialist baby language.

The Salisbury Review, vol. 2, No. 1, Autumn 1983

This raises the further thought: The guff about "social justice" clearly isn't meant. Still, ask yourself about the concept "justice" - not some bogus notion of "social justice" but justice simpliciter - and the Islamic world and you might conclude it is often pretty much absent. Justice certainly doesn't obtain institutional form in a Rechtsstaat, a rule of law. Is it any wonder that so many Islamic states are economic basket cases, mere remittance economies, or countries rich only through the geological accident of having oil? Without justice there can be no very flourishing economic life.

These Muslims could care less about the Mexicans. They are simply using this issue to help stir up social discord and division in the US and to make it easier for Muslims to stay in the US, either illegally or legally.

Are fajitas halal?

JanuaryMan,

Sure, fajitas are halal, as long as the poor cow died from exsanguination.

The Mexicans should slip in some pork tacos for lunch..mucho comida amigo.

Conscription should be introduced for all infidel Illegals, and the resultant army should be used to invade Islamic countries, like Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, et al.

I'll second that one. Also add lots of refried beans with lots of lard in them.

Don't confuse yourself with this participation being Mexican or muslim or immigration.

I am surprised that the Anti-war groups don't jump in on this and then say "look at all the people against the war marching". I am also surprised that more of the immigrants denounce these muslim groups participating. Having the muslims hurts their cause.

This is communism organizing at it's best.

I will support Mexican immigration and rights when Mexico does the same for Americans on their soil.

Will someone in the State Department just right a check and buy Mexico and fix the problem once and for all.

Does this mean that they think Atzlan to be ruled by Sharia law?

alaska1000 - I assume your moniker is associated with your location. When Seward bought Alaska, there were only a handful of people there. That is quite a difference.

60 million new welfare charges? No thanks.
