Spain to free 1,500 illegal immigrants into Europe

...evidently with no attempt to determine what they think of some pressing matters such as, say, the jihad. From the Telegraph, with thanks to Charles Martel:

At least 1,500 illegal immigrants who have sailed to the Canary Islands from Africa in recent weeks are to be set free by the Spanish authorities.

The sub-Saharan migrants will be flown to the mainland before being released and most hope to make their way to Britain, France, and Italy, officials told El Pais newspaper yesterday.

Some 3,800 illegal immigrants, mostly young men from Mali and Senegal, have arrived in the Canary Islands in small boats since the start of the year.

To nearly everything Spanish..."Hasta La Vista -- 'Bay-BEE'"

There is an important component missing in this story, for those "young men" will likely receive some sort of monthly allowance, housing, and so forth. Of course, it never occurs to those running the show that this is how jihad has been and continues to be waged across this continent. Local imams eagerly await their new recruits to spread islamic totalitarianism ...

Most will come to Britain.

In a recent ruling by the High Court in an action brought by two Somali asylum seekers, the local council is obliged to provide council houses to asylum seekers.

I kid you not.

Our Somali's come to America to drive trucks. 18 wheel trucks. Isn't that a bit scary?

Maybe so, Freewoman, but better they should work and earn a living. All the same, this is the umpteenth-squinchieth demonstration of the disgusting immorality of the Zapatero government, the third-worst current European government (behind Norway and Sweden). I am concerned to see whether the recent victory of a ramshackle left coalition including Zapaterista elements is going to bring about a similar kind of backstabbing spinelessness in Italy, which shares Spain's position as an advance guard in the path of illegal immigration. However, the electorate seems to have punished the extreme parties within the Left - Diliberto's Communists have lost several seats, in spite of Islamic Brotherhood support, and the Radicals are not in Parliament at all - and rewarded the moderates. Nonetheless, the nonsense about "solidarity" and "collaborating with departure countries" (i.e. Lybia and the like) in repressing illegal immigration worries me quite a bit. But at least, and whatever you may want to say against him, Prodi is not Zapatero.

We are having an important problem and EU isn“t doing anything, like forever.
