Eurabian Dhimmitude Alert from Reuters, with thanks to JE, who quips: "Osama might want some more airliners, too."
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - European countries have asked the United States to consider selling new airplanes to Iran as part of a proposed package of incentives aimed at resolving the nuclear crisis with Tehran, diplomats said on Friday. The Europeans have also proposed a regional dialogue that some hope could eventually draw the Washington and Tehran, adversaries for a generation, into direct talks.
The package was formally presented to the United States, Russia and China shortly after it was agreed on Thursday by Britain, France, Germany and European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana, one diplomat told Reuters....
One question for Washington now is "could we go beyond spare parts and consider providing Iran with new planes, which would necessarily need acceptance by the U.S.," a senior European diplomat told reporters.
Another European diplomat said the package "will have some element concerning airplanes ... The proposal is framed toward what the Iranians told us they were interested in last year before negotiations ended."
Are the EU folks nuts? When thug - in - chief has stated that they are not taking any walnuts and chocolates, they are still figuring out ways to make an "incentives package". Morons rule.
There goes that "dialogue" word again. Againest all evidence and all prudence these irresponsible idiots bray on and on about dialogue. What part of no incentives are going to work; straight the mouth of the thug in chief himself didn't they understand? This kind of rampant and feckless stupidity should be grounds for being thrown out of office, fired or commited to a mental hospital.
The idea of dialogue is an imaginary delusion and generally people who persist in believing in delusions are generally considered mentally ill are they not?
It is also annoying and beyond offensive that these people patronize the Islamic world and don't allow them their words. Instead of word games and semantics, could we just please take this people seriously and stop the paternalistic condescension and excuse making?
This is pathetic in an absurd comedic way, too bad though that this type of stupidity can and will get lots of people hurt and killed.
I fear, they are not nuts and they are not stupid. They are evil and they know very well what they are doing.
They accuse the Americans "No blood for oil" and what are they doing themselves?
Achmedinejad is not a lyer, is he? He has exactly stated what he is going to do about Israel. And so those dialogue-lovers are trading Jewish blood for oil and they are trading European freedom for oil.
They are not naive. They are just doíng what they are doing since the 1970s.
Sometimes I hate it to be European :-(
The cat is out of the bag. That "regional dialogue" is, as I posted a few days ago, intended to put Israel's nuclear arsenal on the table as a bargaining chip, courtesy of the Zeropeans. And with that offer, Iran will have succeeded in driving a wedge through the NorthAtlantic alliance -- unless the US goes along with this absurdity -- winning even further concessions from the West without any accession on their nuclear programme.
With every new and improved offer from the Zeropeans, the Iranians are proving to themselves and to the world that their efforts to build the Islamic bomb are paying royal dividends.
Sell them biplanes. Period.
We shouldn't just say no, we should scream HELL NO!!
They just said new airplanes.
They didn't specify the type of new airplane.
I can see the potential for all sorts of fun and games here...
Ya while we are at ot why don't we just give them some nukes too. (sarcasm)
yeah maybe they can sell them B52 bombers for their newly acuired nuclear bombs. Good call Europe.
There is never any point in talking to a staunchly Islamic group of people if one is a non-Muslim for the simple reason that Muslims are prohibited by their religion to engage in honest disourse with the infidels.
America will therefore never gain any ground in the standoff with the Iranian mullahs, neither will Europe, and neither will any other infidel party.
It's time the western world learned to deal realistically with Islam. And there are few better places to do this than with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
No planes. No discussions with the mullahs. No dhimmitude. No apologies. No appeasement.
It would be better to keep Ahmadi-jihad on the ground...
I support giving them nukes - particularly a Hydrogen bomb (we've never tested it overground). Let's send the first one to Teheran, via ICBM, to one of 4 choices
- Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's residence
- Islamic Revolutionary Guards (i.e. Hizbullah)
- Ahmadinejad's residence
- Ayatollah Ruhoolah Khomenei's tomb
Once this is done, if the Iranians want more, that can be arranged at their various nuclear sites, like Buhshehr, Natanz, Yazd, et al. Or the top Shia places - Mashed and Qum - that'll stink up Mahdi's well.Like Rush Limbaugh once said, "There is only one way to get rid of nuclear weapons - use them!"
Um, if they (Islamic govt and Muslims) are so superior to the West, let them make their own planes.
And if we threaten to wipe Mecca and Medina off the map and Iran also will they give us incentives like free oil, not to do that?
Hasn't the EU become an immense danger in its own right? It has become repulsive.

Eliyahu asked is not Europe an immense danger? Or was it meant to be “is Europe in an immense danger”? I think all here are agreed that Europe is in an immense danger from Islam, both from Muslims within and from the nut-case in Tehran. It is also in danger from its own obsession with relativism and multiculturalism.
And it is also true that Europe is reaching the tipping point of being an immense danger to the US and te rest of the Western world. Not from the “native” Europeans themselves who are willy-nilly grooming themselves for lasting dhimmitude, but from the Islamic invaders who are bent on overthrow of the native Euro governments and substitution of the Islamic Caliphate. When that happens, and there seems to be nothing on the horizon that can prevent it, America suddenly will have a fully armed Islamic nuclear super-power at its doorstep.
For the sake of Europe and America alike, Europe should transfer its nuclear weapons to the United States to keep them out of the hands of the forthcoming Euro-Caliphate; this would preclude the necessity of an American pre-emptive strike on old Europe.
But if the caliphate gets established and the present Euro nuclear stockpile gets in the hands of Osama or some other Islamo nut-case, all bets are off. It will be “so long, dhimmis, its been nice to know you”.
If push comes to shove, we will push. Euro-dhimmis not interested in this fate should start reversing the Islamo tidal-wave with all the force Europe has shown itself capable of in the last several centuries. Or is it already over its head in multiculturalism?
Jimmy, I meant what I said in both senses. The EU is a danger to its own peoples and to the rest of the world, for several reasons. One is that it is feeding maniacs like Ahmadinejad. If he threatens violence, give him aircraft. That seems to be what the EU is doing. It's sounds insane, doesn't it? But that's what it is doing. Further, I am sure that the EU foreign policy chiefs, like Javier Solana [and Chris Patten too, earlier] are not acting alone, but have support from other political leaders.
Jimmy, one of the reasons that some [including Bat Yeor] give to explain EU policy towards the Arabs/Muslims is an EU desire to draw them into an anti-American alliance so that the EU can be a superpower competing with or surpassing the USA. I don't know if that is the real reason, however, if it so, then certainly it implies a very sinister picture of the EU.
But what the EU does to its own populations, sending their money to help the PLO terrorists instead of the poor in EU countries, suppressing freedom of speech and expression in order to please Arabs/Muslims [consider Solana's tour of Arab countries at the height of the cartoon affair, when he DID NOT reject out of hand demands made by the Organization of the Islamic Conference which would have curtailed free speech in Europe: see links:

and other ways in which the EU harms its own peoples [overcentralized bureaucratic rule, etc.] is repulsive.
Completely craven. What political reaction awaits?
