Iran UN envoy: draft resolution creates an "atmosphere of tension"

It is astounding, but not surprising, that an emissary of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would accuse the UN and the U.S., Britain and France of creating a crisis. There would be no draft resolution, and no crisis, were it not for the constant saber-rattling and genocidal threats coming from the Thug-In-Chief and his minions. As I explained in The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades), this is a phenomenon that goes back a millennium: the mujahedin never display any sense of responsibility for their own actions. After hundreds of years of jihad conquest of Christian lands and the destruction of Christian sites all over the Holy Land, Muslim writers reacted to the Crusades as if they were a completely gratuitous and unprovoked attack by the "Franks."

Of course, it worked: most people today still think of the Crusades in that way, and that may be why this has become a constant element of the jihadist playbook. Javad Zarif cannot and will not ever acknowledge the Iranian bellicosity that has led the utterly supine and dhimmi UN even to consider such a resolution -- for him and his fellow mujahedin, any Western or UN action against Iran will be an unwarranted attack on a peaceful state. And again, the worldwide media will happily jump on board and do all they can to abet this impression. "Iran's U.N. Envoy Criticizes Resolution," from AP, with thanks to JE:

UNITED NATIONS - Iran's top U.N. envoy criticized a proposed resolution on its nuclear program that carried a threat of further action which could include sanctions, charging Thursday that it's aimed at provoking confrontation rather than resolving the dispute.

Ambassador Javad Zarif said it was regrettable the United States, Britain and France were taking a confrontational approach because "there are a multitude of possibilities for finding a peaceful resolution."

"If anything, the draft indicates the intention of those who drafted it to create a crisis where a crisis is not needed, to create an atmosphere of tension which our region does not need, and which can be avoided simply by allowing serious, reasonable, sober discussion," he said.

Right mo,you want to blow up Israel and it is not a crisis. You have been doing so for the past 1400 years.Looting and destroying great civilazations. No crisis at all.

Javad Zarif: "..there are a multitude of possibilities for finding a peaceful resolution."

He's right, err, we could convert to Islam, become nice dhimmis, let Iran develop a nuclear bomb, accept the destruction of Israel...

Could we get an apology from our Muslims friends for the atrocities they levied in the name of Allah that led up to the Chritian Crusades?

I was going through a site today and one gentleman had posted these views. He said that we need to drop bombs on all nucleur facilities and political targets.Bomb the hell out of them and don't send in the ground troops for "rebuilding".He was sure the iranians can rebuild themselves.I must say the idea did appeal to me.On Janes.com there is a story of a new bunker buster to be tested in June. The possibility of bombing Iran is still there. But the U.S. must never send in ground troops. It will be a hundred times worse than Iraq.

Typical. Iran's building nukes and talks about wiping Israel off the map but it's the UN and everybody else creating the atmosphere of tension. And we can expect the brain dead Left to parrot the same line.

The Islamists have done a masterful job of learning to play the media, the Left, the UN, and the EU to advance their agenda. We are living in dangerous times, my friends.

So true, so true. This is why I love your latest book so much, Robert. It dispells these PC myths like so much sawdust in the wind.

The actions of the Muslims over these many centuries remind me of another fitting quote:

"The broad mass of a nation will more easily fall victim to a big lie than to a small one." -Adolph Hitler'

You'd think the mullahs would be tired of all the jaw flapping. They threaten, then whine to the U.N. They threaten, then whine to the U.N. Over and over and over.. It's ridiculous! They're stalling for time. The mullahs have something up their burkas.

If anything, the draft indicates the intention of those who drafted it to create a crisis where a crisis is not needed, to create an atmosphere of tension which our region does not need, and which can be avoided simply by allowing serious, reasonable, sober discussion," he said. - from the article

I bet some flippant, unreasonable, mildly inebriated discussion would do a lot for that atmosphere of tension.

But since wine is haram, look for China or Russia to introduce a "group hug" resolution on Iran's behalf. Then we'll all feel better.

Never listen to anyone who smokes camel poop, I say. And this Ahmadinejad guy looks like he smokes over 3 tons of the stuff a week!

There are about 70 million Iranian people, and they run the country of Iran. If average Iranian people decide to stop running the country for a day or a week, Iran would shut down. There are thousands in the highest offices of the regime’s executive, legislative, judicial, & military apparatus, in Tehran and spread throughout the country, and many thousands in other command and control functions, from the military to the police. The Mullahs, Clerics, & Imams control thoughts, feelings, emotions, mobility, information, and whether the Iranian people live or die, with their human construct of the religion of Islam & Sharia Law. But the regime is only a paper tiger. If the many in the Iranian military & police are part of the larger plot, along with the 70 million Iran people, they can shut down the Islamic regime’s executive, legislative, and judicial branches within hours. The Iranian people can take the battle to the streets, and hunt down the regime, which is keeping them locked in a cage. The Iranian people are the eyes and ears of Iran and already know where the thousands in the highest offices move around each day. They can liberate themselves by serving justice to the regime that is repressing them.

This is from that peace-loving Muslim country, Iran, that's preparing to bring us WWIII - right?
