people can make sins and they can repent. Repentance has conditions to be exepted also. God knows if you repent from your heart and accourdingly he forgives or doesnt forgive.

The point of the Tanach is to show the good, the bad, and the ugly, in other words, the truth. If you read the Tanach with any depth you will discover that:
1)people who do good acts are rewarded
2)people who do bad acts are punished

You can pull out all the examples of ugly behavior in the Tanach that you want to. They generally serve as examples of what not to do. For instance, the Pirke Avot (Ethics of the Fathers), part of the Talmud, says of Amnon, in Avot 5, Mishnah 16:

Actually, prophets make mistakes too. Also, although many people in the Tanach had prophetic powers, neither Lot, Noach, nor Dovid are generally considered "prophets", in the sense of people who spent all (or most of )their time prophesying, as did Yeshayahu and Yirmiyahu. I don't know where you got the idea that prophets were perfect but that is simply not the case.

Yes, he was an "insan" [=ish, enosh] but hardly perfect, rather insatiably bloodthirsty, in fact, although not necessarily insane. By the way, are you aware of how much the Muslims brought into the Quran from Jewish and Christian writings, not only the Bible [Tanakh] but the Midrash, Mishnah and Talmud [such as the famous quote "he who saves a single soul is as if he ..."]? And then they twist the meaning to mean the opposite, or, if it is a narrative, they leave out part of the story or even pervert it. For example, the Quran story of the Queen of Sheba which is taken from the Midrash. It is chopped up somehow in the Quran, but then the Hadith on that Quranic passage takes the story in a perverse direction. By the way, that Hadith is the only ancient or medieval source that I know of that identifies the Biblical Sheba with Saba in southern Arabia. Each and every book was changed to fit the lifestyles of the times but the QURAN which is the truthful of all books. It was never and it will never be changed. I think that the QURAN since it was never changed has the key to any kind of problem since it is sincerely from GOD. It is just so logically obvious. I'd like to ask the repulsive previous commenter, p..r.., why the Quran calls the Land of Israel "Holy Land" [Sura 5:20-22] instead of "palestine"? Why is the Land of the Jews called "blessed land" and other favorable descriptions in other places in the Quran? How come the Quranic version of the tale of the Queen of Sheba is a plagiarism of the story of the Queen of Sheba in the Jewish Midrash? [You can check the Midrash in Ginzberg's edition]. If you read French, check the parallel passages in the Quran and in the Jewish and Christian writings, in the very scholarly --yet clearly read-- edition of Denise Masson.
How come the Quran's version of the Queen of Sheba story is a partial plagiarism of the Midrashic tale [which in the Quran is cut short for some reason].

the comments above about plagiarisms from the Midrash in the Quran were not meant for you. Look again.

Moslemguy does not understand 1) that the prophets were not necessarily perfect men in all ways; 2) that David and Lot and Noah were not prophets. It is Islam that calls them prophets. So your argument is irrelevant.
Moses is considered a prophet but he too sinned by disobeying God in the case of striking the rock to get water.
