Kasur: April 27, 2006. Mobeen Masih a Christian prisoner is confined in District Jail Kasur and facing a trial of lawsuit pending with session court District Kasur. A criminal case was registered against him vide FIR No. 157/2003 offence under section 395 with police station Mustafa Abad.Sharing Life Ministry’s team met with Mobeen on 15th April 2006 during the jail visits of Easter Day’s project. Team was shocked when Mobeen showed his injuries. There were about 20, 20 stitches on his right and left arms. About 10 to 15 stitch on right and left upper side of chest and abdomen was also injured and there were also about 10,10 stitches on right and left side of abdomen. All the wounds are very deep and filled with puss. He has infection in his wounds. Mobeen was shivering with pain.
Sharing Life Ministry’s team members asked him that why he was tortured. He told,
“I was praying in my cell. Some Muslim prisoners came there and started teasing me. I begged them not to disturb me that I am praying but they started abusing me passed desecrating remarks about Christianity. Before this occurrence Muslim prisoners and some of jail staff members used for force me to convert into Islam. They said you’re your name is Mobeen and it is very respectful name for Muslim as this name is used in Holly Quran. I refused them many times. Meanwhile Chief of the jail staff came there and asked about the matter. Muslim prisoners falsely told the chief and I abused them. Chief took me away from the cell to condemn cell. He also abused me and tortured me. He locked me in a dark cell and went away. At about midnight the Assistant Superintendent of the jail named as Tahir Bhatti along with deputy Superintendent named Shiekh Khalid, Chief named Majeed, Chaker Munshi (Clark) named Ashfaq and Head Warden came there and started beating me. They were armed with sharp big blades. They gave me deep cuts on my both arms, chest and abdomen.
Next morning they spread false news that I have injured by myself. Then jail doctor sew my wounds. I made a noise that aforesaid jail staff injured me but all in vain. Even jail authorities did not produce me before the court on my date of hearing”.

Who is making policy in the INS? Who is watching the INS? Who is going to make this matter the highest priority -- what Congressman, what Senator, what governor, what political figure now out of office and biding his time? Who?
Since the man seems to be in real danger of being allowed to die, it may be worth sending a lot letters and e-mails to various representatives and organisation, in an effort save his life.
A prisoner stabbed and beaten for his religious beliefs? This sounds like a job for Amnesty International. Or do they only handle the really important situations like a Qur'an being touched by an infidel guard during a room search?

Third world jails such as this are hellholes. It's bad enough to be put in with criminals but to have criminals holding the keys is worse.
I worked in county jails and if there was something different about a person, they were separated from the rest. This man should have been separated from the get go. This is a shame.
I hope he can get out alive.

The life of each and every infidel in Pakistan is at risk of being abused and subjugated. More so if you are a Hindu.
Pakistan was born out of a fanatic muslim ambition to carve out its own "islamic identity" from India. Jinnah, armed with the might of muslim opinion, flamed by the notorious divide and rule policies of the British Raj, engineered the bloody process, and secured Pakistan's secession from India. Pakistan was not formed on the basis of democratic values, it was created out of hate, an ideal that follows largely from the tenants that this "peaceful religion" prescribes.
If you hear the news of one christian being tortured, you can be assured that an exponential number of hindus are being subjected to the same if not worser fate.
Subjugation, Kidnapping and intimidation of hindus are overtly practised and encouraged. Yet the media in my country chooses to be silent in the pretext that it would create a "biased view on this beautiful religion of peace".
My only hope and source of comfort is that there are organizations who would stand up for the rights of hindus in my country, and as hindus in India, we will not let ourselves to be supressed and subjugated. We will NEVER GO UNDER ISLAM.

Nice to see dhimmiwatch standing up for the rights of prisoners/criminals when they usually call for them to be trated in the worst way possible and dont care that they've been detained without trial. It's not just in pakistan that Apostates are abused. In the UK, there was a well documented case about a family who converted from islam to Christianity and faced abuse, death threats, violence etc from their neighbours. The police did nothing apart from suggest they move away.

I am against torture under any circumstances but at least that used in the interrogating of trained terrorists who may be involved in plots to inflict mass casualties on civilians, has a rationale behind it.
Physically abusing someone to the point of killing him simply because of his practicing a different religion is straightforward sadistic, bullying intolerance.
But then I suppose it could be argued that believers plotting to kill large numbers of infidels are doing no more than practicing their religion.

Very good question! Recently, a friend of mine, after completing all the paperwork to naturalize his Filipina wife, took her to the Atlanta INS Center for her interview which lasted nearly 45 minutes. This particular US immigration agent in Atlanta is a Saudi-born Muslim. He asked her if she was Catholic (which is illegal) and then denied her application. She speaks fluent English.
After his wife's application was rejected, My friend decided to wait in the inner lobby and observe. There were several Muslims interviews after his wife. He could tell because the women were in hijab. The Immigration Agent spoke with them in Arabic since they spoke no English at all. Their "interview" lasted only about 10 minutes, and they all left smiling.
In a US immigration interview, acceptance or rejection is totally at the discretion of the agent in charge. I've put my friend in touch with our congressman and both our senators.

Well said! Could you imagine if a Christian, Jewish, or Hindu immigration judge were to deny a Muslim entry into the US, Canada, or the UK. The media and every so-called "human rights" organizations would be screaming and soon that judge would be unemployed or worse. But Muslims can openly discriminate against us infidels and no one dares to call their bluff.

Sadly, India missed its opportunity after it defeated Pakistan in 1971 to revoke the partition. At a minimum, India should have annexed all of Bengal instead of creating Bangladesh as a second potential Muslim threat to India. Today, it seems Bangladesh is headed full steam back into Pakistan, or at least becoming a reflection of it.

You see Pakis and Indians have long standing issues on many fronts, starting from Partition, the following wars and the so called "kashmir issue". One of the main factors keeping Pakis together is their universal hatred towards India and its inhabitants. Hindus are considered more as Indians even though they live in Pakistan. So the persecution of them WILL ALWAYS BE MORE THAN THEIR OTHER FELLOW INFIDELS in Pakistan.
On you second post, about annexing Bangladesh. I'd rather have India throw out the bangla muslim immigrants,allow safe passage and immigration for all bangla "infidels",seal the border and cut economic ties that country. Let the filth deal with its own.

I am completely OUTRAGED by the stories I am reading above which indicate that our western governments have permitted Muslims to infiltrate our western immigration agencies and deny asylum to Christians and others fleeing genuine persecution.
How deep does this problem go? Is this part of the conscious strategy for Muslim infiltration?
Sofia- your post in particular offered several anecdotal stories. Do you or does anyone else have links to a more systematic analysis of this issue? I haven't read Paul Sperry's book "Infiltration". Does it cover this?
