Fellow Christians, dont accept that the New Testament is a "forgery" from the likes of Qaddafi and fellow secularists. Perhaps somewhat off topic, but, the Gospel texts have small, very small changes with the sources going back to 50AD.
So, yes, there are variants, yes, the gospels were written years after Jesus death, but they are (1) accurate, (2) they are the written account of a person's observations of Jesus - they are not divine revelation as God did not dictate them (compared to the first 5 books of the Old Testament). Since they are not divine revelation, they need not hold up to the same standards of factual overlay - they represent the observations of men beholding the will of God in their lives.
You can independently, and easily, verify this for yourself with simple Google searches. You can actually look at the original greek texts, the variants, see how they vary in such small detail that its insigificant.
Remember this when a muslim/secularist attempts to rub your nose in teh supposed "forgeries" and "corruption". Reject it.
Now, return the favor. A muslim will tell you that the Koran is the divine revelation from the angel Gabriel to Mohammed. Ask the muslim, "where is this book?" -- the "book" is lost to history, it does not physically exist. There is no reference text! Ask the muslim how the first Koran was actually compiled - in truth, it was compiled a generation after Mohammed, as scribes were sent to gather up notes and reminiscents from his relatives. Not only were his statements about Christianity and Judaism's holy texts wrong, but also his math. There are NOT 50 million Muslims in Europe. The number I have heard is more like 25 million, from sources far more reputable. Muslims are inveterate triumphalists, and their conjured population statistics are just a figment of their overactive imagination. And Turkey joining the EU is pretty damn unlikely. The more people like Khadaffi prattle on about Turkish ascension being the doom of Europe, the more impossible it becomes. I cannot possibly imagine voters in Europe accepting it, now that Muslims in Europe have shown their colors, and Turkish secularism is in full retreat. Then again, people are stupid.

A few months ago some Muslims tried to convert me at a local Greek coffee shop, they said the Koran is the word of god because the words in Arabic rime together and that no human can do this, when I told him Arabic came along long after the Koran was written he told me to go f&^k a pig, and I said better then your mother. Ominously, it's a review from the US. I haven't seen a review of the book in any newspaper or magazine in the UK. There are some books, important ones, too, one suspects, that never seem to get reviewed by the MSM.

People in the west don't know their religion so they are not solidly based. Muslims are always looking at propaganda against anything that is not muslim. The movie Da Vinci Code is set to release in about 2 1/2 weeks. The number of screen showings worldwide is large and ironic enough is that it will show very largely in muslim countries. Once they have seen the movie we will hear a whole new rehtoric of venom and attempt of confusion at the west being spewed. I believe that we will see this movie further the muslim claims. If I am wrong then so what. But I believe I am right and we will start seeing this more often.
It could it be that Mu'ammar senses that as the global south becomes Christian; the countries in the global south ( Africa, Asia, and Latin America ) will in time be the ones sending the missionaries in order to re-Christianize the west.

In truth, Mu'ammar is simply getting a jump start on what we are going to see happen this comming summer, the full bashing of Christianity going in full gear. Also look for Christians to protest the movie. The one difference is that Christians will not blow up or setting the movie theaters on fire. What we will see is more teaching events to get out the truth about the falsehood of the "Da Vinci ".

One is that imigration can not overcompensate the low birth rates to that extent, and the other is of course the birth rate number it self. In every country that has a muslim minority we see that this minority has birth rates of more than 4 (Israel included). If you insert those numbers for Sweden (which I happen to know), a conservative estimate gives that the population of (approximately) 300000 muslims today will grow to 2.9 million by 2050. Considering that they already demand separate legistlation for muslims, at a head count of 0.3 million. It is not difficult to extrapolate what will happen when they are 3 million.

I think Qadaffi is ignoring the facts.
1. The Koran was written around 19 years after Mohammad died. It took some years to research, written & conpiled. It was later categorized into chapters & verses following a christian scholar that did the same to the bible.
2. There were at least 3 versions of the koran. Only one was used & the rest burnt after a series of heavy comitee. All of the authors swear that they wrote the truth.
3. The people that compiled the 'fake' koran said in ther journal after reading the 'authorized' koran that they will never use that book again.
4. The need of the koran arosed after moslims were leaving their religion & they fear a civil war against them, (hence the punishment for leaving islam). The koran was a discipline order to unite the clans.
5. Muslim scholars found remarkable hindu text that mismatches the koran but highlighted that 'Mahatma' will come to lead the people. The obviously mistook Mahatma Gandhi for Muhammad.
*Note: The last hindu phrophet/god's reincarnation in earth will be named kalki at the end of the Kali-Yoga era or at the peak of destruction.

Qaddafi has undergone one of two things (or both):
1) He's found Islam again (if he ever truly walked away from it) and devoted himself to the teachings of the Qur'ran. This would just typify what we have warned about: a good Muslim, an on-the-fence Muslim or an ignorant Muslim can quickly become a "dangerouly devout" Muslim.

The comment about "fifty million Muslims in Europe" should be the focus of all intelligent life in Europe. Make sure that never happens. Not just by stopping all Muslim immigration, but by creating the conditions where the conduct of Muslim life is not made easier, and Muslim demands consistently met in whole or in part, but where, at every point, the way in which our societies flatly contradict the principles of Islam are made clear. Instead of not reprinting those cartoons, print such material every day. Instead of allowing Muslim women to be immune to the sights and sounds of Western societies, let their men know that they will be subject to the whisperings of Shaitan at every corner. Some, at least, will not wish to endure such temptations, and return to Dar al-Islam. Do nothing to discourage that. Remove welfare benefits. Or, still worse, require work. Actually, what he is saying should be taken very serious. Demographics support his analyses. If the west continues to allow mass Islamic immigration than yes, eventually shear numbers alone will allow for Islam to dominate. Without using force, though many Jihadis will over time, Islam will come to dominate most of Europe.
This is serious, but what is worse is the western media not bringing these demographics to light...
Of course when Islam dominates Europe, or even comes close to dominate, the recent demonstrations in the USA by Latinos will look like a peace rally.
War is not necessary at all. We can win this with with little or no cost to us if we wish to implement it. Just agree that indeed there is a House of civilisation and a House of islam, and then a separation. I have felt for a long time, that this is one benign option that offers safety for all.
Qaddaffi should not ask for war, as he has no idea how the West wages war. Europe may be disarmed at the moment but this is the continent that invented the modern "industrial method" of waging war, and the knowledge and ability is till there. I hope for the good of the muslim world, and for our own conscience, that Europe does not tread the martial path.

The Serbs probably provoked most of the regression to Islamism which may have occurred since in Bosnia (pop 45% Muslim) and Kosovo, while even the population of Albania is 30% non-Muslim. The people who committed the crime of shelling a modern European city like Sarajevo were just as happy bombarding Dubrovnik and Vukovar.

Oh by the way i heard through an ex Councillor for Blackburn and Darwen Borough Council that Blackburn as around 5000 Mosques for a population of a large town. It seems if you declare your house as a place of worship you are council tax exempt!
I've checked the legality of the issue and it is true. You can easily register as a place of worship and avoid taxes of more than £1000 per year. I'm waiting for a reply from Blackburn council as to exact numbers of places of worship per denomination but i'm not holding my breath in anticipation.

What has been happening over in the former Yugoslavia is not suprising since the folks there got along like water got along with electricity.
Suprisingly enough, they all seem to vote for ech other's songs in the Eurovision song contest, even though there does seem to have have been a recent rift between the Montenegrans and the Serbs about their chosen entry for this hallowed competition.

I have a Military History magazine that I have misplaced, but when I find it I'm going to reprint an article from it on my blog. It's a very thorough explanation of the bloody history in the region of Bosnia and clearly shows that the war was brought there (like in every case worldwide) by the Muslims and that those Christians in Eastern Europe have a long, long memory.

They had been planning in the mosques for years for this. Then they came at the Hindus on 14th of August 1947. They killed by sword 1000000 (yes, one million Hindus) in the state of Punjab and got their country that is now called as Pakistan.India being at the time nascent, could not retaliate. The 1000000 Hindus were not killed by some external terrorists, but the everyday population they used to live with. Some years before, the muslims created what is now Afghanistan. Kush in Arabic means "to kill". The Hindu Kush mountains are named because these Muslims killed a lot of Hindus to create what is now Afghanistan.
At the time of India's independence, some Muslims chose to stay in India. They were 50 million then. The Hindus were 400 million. Now the Hindus are 800 million and the Muslims are 200 million. They have quadrupled in 60 years while the Hindu population has only doubled. Kashmir is the only state in India in which the Muslims are a majority. And surprise, surprise, they want a seperate Kashmir now. Jihad is for real. And the Muslims tactics have worked so far. That is what this madman is saying now.

Events (as Licoln pointed out) almost always take us to a place very different than that imagined by the hubris of humans. As Yogi Berra once said, "Sometimes the future isn't what it used to be." There are events coming (we don't know what they are) that could make the words of those you reference look very hollow.

Islamic fear and loathing of naked female flesh occurs again and again but is almost never discussed in all this so-called "dialogue" between Islam and the West: Sayyid Qutb's denouncing of "seductive American girls"; an African cleric shortly after 9-11 who asserted that "In America, all your women dress like half-naked sluts"; and now Qaddafi's comment about naked Western women. Plus the wearing of burqas of course.
For a young Muslim man, sex and procreation would be life-affirming exercises for this world; keeping Muslim men away from such things is desirable because it keeps them focused on submission to Allah (i.e. blind obedience to Osama and the imams), and even on willingness to become suicide-bombers and kill themselves while still childless, which biologically and racially is the most self-defeating thing a male can do.
Plus, of course, women wearing whatever damn things they want to wear is a sign of their independence, and that too strikes at the heart of traditional Muslim male dominance.
Phyllis Chesler has written extensively on widespread sexual perversion in Muslim society--the wife beatings, degradation of women and as I pointed out, outright fear and loathing of women. Practically no one else is willing to touch that topic though.

I have to disagree with the characterization of ol' Mo' as crazy or that his craziness is somehow "Islamic." Though I have to admit I DO love it when he wears his purple mumu.
For the last decade, Gaddafi has been cultivating relationships with African leaders and has all but turned his back on the Arab League. He's been promoting pan-Africanism (which doesn't sit well with "bean-Arabs" and "rice-Arabs." (Mo' refers to the Maghreb as "Bilad al-Kuskusi." Egyptians and Sudanis eat fava beans aka foul medames, and points east= rice. Mo's good for a laugh line).
He has also been promoting himself as somewhat of a holy person. However, this is not to be understood as anything like mainstream Islam or even remotely orthodox. He hasn't gone so far as to declare himself a new Mahdi or Hidden Imam or anything, but he has tried to paint himself as saintly and this (and his embrace of West Africa) has given him much cache among African Muslims. Note: the speech was in Mali. However, this should be viewed more in the context of his own personal cult of personality rather than grandiose ideas of pan-Islamism. Though he DOES have grandiose ideas of an African community similar in idea to the EU. He also encourages Libyans to embrace their African-ness rather than their Arab-ness. Gaddafi often gives speaking tours in Islamic Africa and gets HUGE crowds. Mo's quite an eloquent speaker and his FusHa is a pleasure to listen to.
The reference to him being an atheist is based on Mo's origins as a secular socialist revotutionary out of the 50's and his efficient down-putting of Salafists whom he liberally secularized with firing squads, gallows and so on.
Anyway, my point is that Mo' should not be taken seriously as an Islamist. He is his own special sort of wack-job/foreign policy wild-card.

Europe is in a predicament, and so is America. They should agree to become Islamic in the course of time, or else declare war on the Muslims.
