Does anyone keep a map of each mosque in the world where these "willing slaves of Allah" originated from? These addresses would be useful to authorities and neighborhood watch groups?

Folks at the mall don't want to be known as bigots. But something else is going on.

I've lent the PIG Guide to Islam to two friends and recommended it to another. None have read it, though the first glanced and said it was some right-wing weirdness.

Part of the problem is that folks are busy, and they don't see a need to review an arcane subject. And folks rely on authority figures and advertisements, and the accepted word is that Islam is benign.

What would focus their attention?

That already happened to one Falls Church resident who was shot by the DC sniper in the Seven Corners shopping center parking lot. Of course at the time, the connection to Islam wasn't understood.

www.littlegreenfootballs.com highlighted a Guardian article ("amazingly condescending and petty") by Jackie Ashley. The article and its tone strike me as quite important, affirming (in its way) that a smiling and calm presentation is better than intense emotionalism.

Jackie Ashley is particularly amused/bewildered/annoyed that Melanie Phillips (author of Londonistan) perceives (in Phillips's phrase) "a continuum that links peaceful, law-abiding but nevertheless intensely ideological Muslims at one end and murderous jihadists at the other." The article continues: "If you blinked at the word 'continuum', she means it: the British establishment is 'transfixed by the artificial division it has erected between those who actively espouse violence and those who do not.' Yes, artificial division."

Is that mosque still allowed to operate? If so..WHY? HELLOOOO!!! It's not going to stop.

If that isn't a wake up call to close down mosques, I don't know what is.

And I want to know how in our court system, a jury of a terrorist peers can be found. Again, terrorists should be turned over to the military.

As a British citizen I must offer my sincerest apologies for this infiltration of BritishIslamic terrorists and any resulting compromise of US homeland security. BritishIslam isn't supposed to be like this. BritishIslam is a peaceful religion wholly distinct from any terrorist ideology and I'm sure I can speak for most of my countrymen when I say that I am shocked, apalled, and frankly flabbergasted that anyone espousing the great world religion of BritishIslam should be involved in any way in terrorist activities. I implore all Britons to write to their MPs demanding a full public enquiry, at taxpayers expense, to investigate how the peaceful and benign faith of BritishIslam has been so subverted by a tiny minority of misguided freedom fighters. Hopefully if we throw enough resources at the problem, if we spend enough public money, repeal enough legislation, make enough concessions, and put the MCB in charge of foreign policy, we can avoid such embarassing repetitions in the future. I have relatives who moved to Falls Church, Virginia in the 1950's. At the time, it was a wonderful town to raise a family. Now, the widow is thoroughly frustrated and fearful of leaving her long time home after 3:00 pm. Believe me, she is not talking about Home and Garden awards, although she still maintains a lovely flower garden herself. She completely understands who is responsible for 9/11 and knows that she lives among people who supported and cheered that act of terroism. For some good information on that area of northern Virginia and jihad activities, you might read the journalist/author Paul Sperry. He has done excellent reporting, although he is probably ignored by the FBI and local police, who are forced to spend their time in sensitivity programs taught by CAIR.

While this article was written quite some time back its significance is just as fresh today as when it was first written. Laura points out how these mosques recruit unsuspecting Christians with their seeming piety and talk of love towards Christ. With her knowldege of Arabic, Laura was able to secretly listen in on the actual view of the folks who were acting so warmly towards the Christians they were trying to ensnare.

Over the past few months, 11 men who regularly attended the same Islamic Centre in Falls Church have been convicted of terrorism charges. Seven reportedly went to training camps in Pakistan, including one used by Khan.

Virginia is indeed a problem area. But so is Maryland. Basically, if you're living near the nation's capital, you'd better sleep lightly.

So, let's see -- we have two "reverts" to Islam sniping and murdering innocent people at gas stations around Virginia/Maryland and finally caught, a Muslim student in North Carolina using a van as a weapon with intent to murder and terrorize and commit jihad, we have a Muslim millionaire "randomly" shooting inside a public movie theater after much deliberate planning and we have constant reports of jihad activity in Virginia. Put a compass on a map and draw a big circle around Washington, D.C. and you get the obvious area to concentrate on in the United States for profiling and anti-jihad.

Why are we playing nice with these scum? Outlaw this cult of fascist death-worshippers and save the country a lot of future grief.

Or sit back and watch the incidents turn bloodier, more "random" and closer to home. What's next? Shopping malls? Christmas parades? Attacks on churches and synagogues? A shooting spree at your local high school or perhaps the football or baseball tournaments?

One would think 9/11 would have woke up the country. And I think some did. But every one from the gov. to the media quashed a lot of it to keep people from having the same anger as with Pearl Harbor. I don't remember muslims being rounded up. Bush kept saying islam was a religion of peace.

Had we made the M.E. a parking lot, we wouldn't have the problem with muslims now. IMHO.

Most of you know that I'm not one to demonize all Muslims willy-nilly, but I have reached the conclusion that the Falls Church Islamic Center needs some consistent surveillance by the FBI, immigration authorities, and others. Its clergy ought to be hauled in for questioning and possibly imprisoned. Many of its people probably also need at least deportation, if not worse.

Maybe the jihadists chose this town because they want to change the name of it.

About 20 minutes into the film, police said, the gunman stood, told everyone to get on the floor and fired four shots.

The man then walked to the lobby, placed a handgun containing one unspent round on a counter and told theater management that he had shot someone. He waited for police to arrive.

Yesterday, as friends tried to comfort her, Rona Schrum said, "I will probably never understand why God has chosen to do that to me."

The suspect is a 24-year-old man, a 2000 graduate of Mount Hebron High School in Howard County and a 2005 graduate of Loyola College, where he majored in biology. Mujtaba Rabbani Jabbar's family home is a house valued at more than $1 million in one of Baltimore County's most affluent neighborhoods.

According to charging documents, Jabbar told police that he had planned to kill someone for several months.

He has been charged with first-degree murder. He was being held without bail at the county detention center. A search of court records showed nothing more than traffic violations for Jabbar.

Jabbar's address is in Anton North, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Baltimore County, with million-dollar mansions hidden by trees and at the end of long, twisting driveways. A list of residents includes such Baltimore business names as Frankel and Luskin, and former Blue Cross/Blue Shield Chief Executive William L. Jews.

I would like to note that it is a bit of a misnomer to refer to Falls Church as "small town America" (for readers unfamiliar with the DC area). I wouldn't have called it "small town" even when I lived there briefly 26 years ago (and the whole DC area has grown enormously since then). It's pretty much indistinguishable from the vast metropolis now stretching out around DC.

No - Jihad coming to "small town America" is better illustrated by Jeff M's link above (from Gates of Vienna) about Jamaat al Fuqra setting up camp on the outskirts of small rural towns in Virginia (as opposed to Northern Virginia which is for all practical purposes part of DC). That's a very worrying development.

You see, you can go to any bookstore and find a copy of Mein Kampf, but I don't worry too much about that book creating a new Nazi movement. In fact, the book is in my own collection, along with the Qur'an, the Holy Bible and countless others.

The truth is, if we were to hide the Qur'an, then some underground movement would manifest and use the fact that the book had been banned as just one more excuse to resurrect the evil. Far better to educate people about the Qur'ran: much like alchohol, it's more about how you treat it, then what it really is capable of doing to a person.
