SEVENTEEN terror suspects accused of amassing a cache of explosives to carry out an “al-Qaeda-inspired” bombing campaign in Canada will appear in court tomorrow.The 12 men, aged between 19 and 43, and five teenagers younger than 18, all had Arabic names and were nearly all Canadian citizens.
They were arrested during raids on Friday night in Toronto. Police said that they found three tonnes of ammonium nitrate and a mobile phone that had been modified to become a detonator.
The amount of explosive was three times the amount of ammonium nitrate used in the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, which destroyed a federal building, killing 168 and injuring more than 800.
The police refused to divulge the terror suspects’ alleged targets, but a report in the Toronto Star said that the group had been focusing on the parliament buildings in Ottawa and the offices of the Canadian Security Intelligence Services in Toronto.
The police said that the men had attended a training camp together and had made videotapes of their activities. They also said that they had had contact with two terror suspects arrested in the US in March. Since the 7/7 bombings in London, Canadian authorities have given warning of the potential for the country’s own strain of homegrown Islamic extremism, especially with the presence of Canadian troops in Afghanistan.

DES MOINES, Iowa — A judge has ruled that a Bible-based prison program violates the First Amendment's freedom of religion clause by using state funds to promote Christianity to inmates.
Prison Fellowship Ministries, which was sued in 2003 by an advocacy group, was ordered Friday to cease its program at the Newton Correctional Facility and repay the state $1.53 million.
"This calls into question the funding for so many programs," said Barry Lynn, executive director of the Washington-based Americans United for Separation of Church and State, which filed the suit. "Anyone who doesn't stop it is putting a giant 'sue me' sign on top of their building."

as for dhimmis allowing themselves to be subjugated is correct. and they are subjugated by fear. you see muslims will threaten death and destruction unless they get their ways. and this works as you see some euros backpeddling on press freedoms and religious rights of nonmuslims to appease muslims. all those marches against cartoonists and marches for so called rigts of muslims to practice islam has an effect when the choice is to given in to their demands or face more violence.
